This paper describes the boiling heat transfer phenomena to be divided into three regions, nonboiling, nucleate boiling and burn-out in the impinging subcooled water jet system. In the nonboiling region, Nusselt number is a function of Prandtl number, Reynolds number and ${\Delta}T_{sub}/T_{ast}$ In the nucleate boiling region, the heat flux increases with increment of the nozzle exit velocity. But the degree of liquid subcooling does not affect the shape of the nucleate boilng curve. The dimensionless correlations can be expressed in the form of $q{\ell}/K_f{\Delta}T_{ast}=C(Bo{\cdot}C_p{\cdot}{\Delta}T_{sat}/Vo^2)^m{\cdot}(Re/We)^n$. The burn-out heat flux increases linearly with increment of the nozzle exit velocity, but independs of degree of subcooling and the supplementary water height.

In order to improve the performance of heat exchanger, fluidized bed is often employed. The experiments are carried out in fluidized double pipe parallel flow heat exchanger in which finned tube is vertically immersed. And the heat transfer coefficients between the heated tube and fluidized bed of alumina beads(dp=0.41, 0.54, 0.65, 0.77mm) are calculated as a function of air fluidized velocity and pumping power. The effects of particle size, static bed height and pumping power on the heat transfer coefficients are investigated. And the heat transfer coefficients are compared with that of single phase forced convection heat exchanger. In particular, the heat transfer performance of each type heat exchanger is evaluated in relation to the pumping power.

This paper presents the results of some measurement of the fluctuating velocity field in the turbulent boundary layer disturbed by a triangular prism and discusses the discovery of the disturbed boundary layer. A prism of height 8mm was used for experiments. The streamwise location of the prism was fixed at 1200mm downstream from the leading edge and the space between the prism center and the wall was set at three different values, 6, 15 and 33.5mm. The results show that the near-wall region of the disturbed boundary layer recovers original state much more quickly than the outer region. In the case h=6mm the recovery is faster than the other cases. Moreover, it was found that peak of fluctuating velocities moves outwards somewhat rapidly with increasing ${\times}$ mainly due to the turbulent diffusion of the fluctuating velocity.

The rapid growth of deep-learning applications has invoked the R&D of artificial intelligence (AI) processors. A dedicated software framework such as a compiler and runtime APIs is required to achieve maximum processor performance. There are various compilers and frameworks for AI training and inference. In this study, we present the features and characteristics of AI compilers, training frameworks, and inference engines. In addition, we focus on the internals of compiler frameworks, which are based on either basic linear algebra subprograms or intermediate representation. For an in-depth insight, we present the compiler infrastructure, internal components, and operation flow of ETRI's "AI-Ware." The software framework's significant role is evidenced from the optimized neural processing unit code produced by the compiler after various optimization passes, such as scheduling, architecture-considering optimization, schedule selection, and power optimization. We conclude the study with thoughts about the future of state-of-the-art AI compilers.
