우리나라는 황사발생 빈도가 증가하고 특히 하절기에 강우 및 구름 발생이 잦아 위성원격탐사영상의 대기보정처리를 필요로 한다. 본 연구에서는 대기보정 전후의 클래스별 화소값 분포 변화를 비교하여 대기보정이 영상화소분류에 미치는 영향을 분석하였다. 실험에 사용된 영상은 LANDSAT-5 TM이고, 대기보정 모듈로는 상용 소프트웨어인 ATCOR, FLMSH와 인터넷에 공개된 COST 모델 3가지를 적용하였다. 실험 결과, 건물밀집지역 영역에서 클래스 분리도가 향상되는 것으로 나타났다. Due to increasing frequency of yellow dust, not to mention high rate of precipitation and cloud formation in summer season of Korea, atmospheric correction of satellite remote sensing is necessary. This research analyzes the effect of atmospheric correction has on imagery classification by comparing DN distribution before and after atmospheric correction. The image used in the research is LANDSAT-5 TM. As for atmospheric correction module, commercial product ATCOR, FLAASH as well as COST model released on the internet, were used. The result of experiment shows that class separability increased in building areas.
In this study, surrounding temperature characteristics of vessel-mimicking material in the varicose vein phantom were investigated according to the interval of the sonication in the treatment of varicose vein using ultrasound. When the same energy was applied, the temperature distribution around the vessel-mimicking material was checked according to the sonication method. In the moving method, it was moved at intervals of 0.5, 1.1, 2.5, 3.3 mm and fixed at a maximum moving distance of 10 mm. The thermocouple was implanted at intervals of 3, 6, and 9 mm based on vessel-mimicking materials. As a result of measuring the temperature around the vessel-mimicking substance under the same irradiation condition, based on the protein denaturation temperature of 43℃, a temperature higher than 43℃ was confirmed in a single sonication, a temperature lower than the reference temperature was confirmed in the movement interval excluding the 2.5 mm movement interval. The difference in contraction rate of vessel-mimicking material according to sonication method and move interval was not more than ± 5%. Based on the results of this experiment, it is thought that it will contribute to the study of ultrasound therapy protocol considering the contraction rate and the safety of the surrounding tissues according to the interval of movement in the treatment of varicose vein using ultrasound.
John Steinbeck's novel Of Mice and Men is regarded as one of the greatest American novels and is loved by readers. The novel is the story of two young poor workers, George and Lenni, who work on California ranches in the 1930's, during the Great Depression. The protagonist George kills Lennie with a pistol after accidently choking Curly's wife to death. George's intention was to save Lennie from Curly and the ranch workers' lynch mob. The problem from a moral standpoint is that George goes somewhere with a worker to “eat something” immediately after killing Lennie and he does not receive any punishment from society. Of Mice and Men was successfully adapted into a movie of the same name in 1939 and is considered a Hollywood classic. However, the movie does not perfectly reflect the original story of the novel. While the movie was successful, thanks at least in part to the changes, John Steinbeck's nonteleological thinking in the novel disappears completely in the movie, as it is replaced by cause and effect. In addition, there is another notable story modification. Lennie carries a dead bird instead of a dead mouse in his pocket. This perverts Steinbeck's intention and the theme of the novel. Accordingly, we can say that story modifications of an adapted screenplay have both positive and negative functions. (Mokwon University)
John steinbeck`s novels have been classified generally as ``naturalistic`` by many critics. However, he deals with the themes of good and evil, and free will in East of Eden, by quoting the Biblical story of Cain and Abel as a prototype for the novel, which is against American literary naturalism. Even though he quotes the Bible, he does not follow traditional Christian doctrine. Adam and Lee negate universal ethics and norm by justifying Cain`s murder, for they claim that God favored Abel by accepting Abel`s worship and rejecting Cain`s. Readers are told that Adam`s father, Cyrus, refused to love Adam and Adam in turn refused to love his son Cal. Parents`refusal to love their sons causes them to be alienated from their home and society, and it offers the opportunity for the sons to justify their sins and crimes. The situational ethics structure makes the border between good and evil hazy. Steinbeck seems to raise an objection to the concept of good and evil in East of Eden like in of Mice and Men. It is likely to be criticised because it blurs the border between good and evil. However, it means that Steinbeck accepts the fact that man can do good or evil and that he avoids a naturalistic and non-teleological position. It is a great step forward in his work. A discourse on ``timshell`` which means "thou mayest rule over him" in the Old Testament has special significance in East of Eden. Chinese Lee finds ``timshell`` originated from Hebrew and has a meaning of free will. Adam said to Cal, ``timshell`` before he drew his last breath. It means that Cal is a man with free will. Even if Steinbeck described the last scene with the issue of free will, he does not completely abandon non-teleological position. He still sticks to the characterization of Cathy as a monster. To conclude, East of Eden is a turning point leading to drama of ``consciousness``, which deals with man having free will.
The purposes of this research are to estimate area of greenable roof and to monitor maintaining of green roofs using World-View 2 images. The contents of this research are development of World-View 2 application technologies for estimation of green roof area and development of monitoring and maintaining of green roofs using World-View 2 images. The available green roof areas in Gwangjin-gu Seoul, a case for this study, were estimated using digital maps and World-View 2 images. The available green roof area is approximately 12.17% (2,153,700㎡) of the total area, and the roof vegetation accounts for 0.46% (80,660㎡) of the total area. For verification of the extracted roof vegetation, Vworld 3D Desktop map service was applied. The study results may be used as a decision-making tool by the government and local governments in determining the feasibility of green roof projects. In addition, the project implementer may periodically monitor to see whether roof greening has maintained for efficient management of projects, and a vast amount of World-View 2 images may be regularly used before and after the projects to contribute to sharing of satellite images information.
본 논문은 향후 운용될 국산 고해상도 위성화상의 활용일환으로 산불활엽수피해림 중 참나무(림)와(과) 밤나무(림)의 산불피해등급 육안판독열쇠에 관한 연구이다. 본 육안판 독열쇠는 참나무(림)와(과) 밤나무(림)의 산불피해등급 판별을 위해 4가지 요소, 즉 색, 형태, 구조 그리고 질감에 기초로 개발하였고, 개발에 사용된 화상자료는 0.3m 공간해상도의 천연색 항공사진을 수치화(digital)한 화상과 0.8m 공간해상도의 위성 QuickBird 화상 및 1m 공간해상도의 위성 IKONOS화상이다. GIS의 공간정보 입력에 사용된 고해상도 화상을 정량분석할 경우 지형효과의 그림자영향으로 인한 난제가 수반되기 때문에 실제로 육안에 의한 정성분석을 통해 정밀정보가 제공되고 있다. 개발된 판독열쇠는 항공 위색적외선 화상(CIR imagery)과 항공 흑백 적외선 사진(IR photos)에서도 이방향성 지형효과와 무관하게 산물활엽수(림)피해등급 판별을 위해 사용할 수 있다.
비침습적 치료 효과에 대한 기대로 집속 초음파를 이용한 하지정맥류 치료에 대한 많은 연구가 진행되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 초음파 정맥류 정맥 치료 효과 평가에 적용할 수 있는 생체 조직 팬텀과 조직 등가 팬텀을 제시 하였다. 제작된 팬텀은 음향학적 특징과 초음파 조사에 따른 수축률을 평가함으로써 유용성을 평가하였다. 하지정맥류가 발생하는 조직의 구조를 고려하여 피부, 지방, 근육의 세 층으로 된 다층 구조 팬텀을 제작하였으며, 각 층을 구성하는 물질은 인체와 유사한 특성을 갖도록 제작하였다. 또한 혈관 유사 물질을 매식한 다층 구조 팬텀과 동물 혈관을 이용한 다층 구조 팬텀, 동물 조직을 이용한 다층 구조 팬텀을 제작하였으며, 초음파 조사에 따른 혈관 유사 물질 및 혈관 조직의 수축 정도를 B-mode 영상을 이용하여 평가하였다. 본 연구의 결과를 통하여 제시된 팬텀이 초음파 하지정맥류 치료 평가에 유효하게 활용될 수 있을 것으로 판단되었다. 또한, 집속 초음파를 이용한 하지정맥류 치료 장비 개발 및 치료 효과 검증에 중요한 역할을 할 것으로 판단된다. Because of the expectation of the non-invasive treatment effect, Various studies on the treatment of varicose veins using focused ultrasound are reported. In this study, the bio-tissue phantom and tissue equivalent phantom that can be applied to estimation of ultrasonic varicose veins treatment effect. Each phantom was evaluated for its usefulness by evaluating the acoustic characteristics and the shrinkage rate according to the ultrasonic irradiation. A multi-layer structure phantom with three layers of skin, fat, and muscle was constructed considering the structure of the tissue where the varicose veins occurred. The materials constituting each layer were made to have characteristics similar to human body. In addition, the multi-layered phantoms with blood vessel mimic tube, with bovine blood vessel, and with animal tissue were fabricated. The degree of shrinkage of blood vessel mimic material and vascular tissue according to ultrasonic irradiation was evaluated using B-mode image. As the results of this study, it was thought that the proposed phantom could be used effectively in the evaluation of ultrasonic varicose veins treatment. In addition, it is thought that these phantoms could be applied to the development of varicose vein treatment device using the focused ultrasound and the verification of the therapeutic effect.
