Purpose: The aim of this study is to analyze the series of panoramic radiograph of implant patients using the system to measure peri-implant crestal bone loss according to the elapsed time from fixture installation time to more than three years. Methods: Choose 10 patients having 45 implant fixtures installed, which have series of panoramic radiograph in the period to be analyzed by the system. Then, calculated the crestal bone depth and statistics and selected the implant in concerned by clicking the implant of image shown on the monitor by the implemented pattern recognition system. Then, the system recognized the x, y coordination of the implant and peri-implant alveolar crest, and calculated the distance between the approximated line of implant fixture and alveolar crest. By applying pattern recognition to periodic panoramic radiographs, we attained the results and made a comparison with the results of preceded articles concerning peri-implant marginal bone loss. Analyzing peri-implant crestal bone loss in a regression analysis periodic filmed panoramic radiograph, logarithmic approximation had highest $R^2$ value, and the equation is as shown below. $y=0.245Logx{\pm}0.42$, $R^2=0.53$, unit: month (x), mm (y) Results: Panoramic radiograph is a more wide-scoped view compared with the periapical radiograph in the same resolution. Therefore, there was not enough information in the radiograph in local area. Anterior portion of many radiographs was out of the focal trough and blurred precluding the accurate recognition by the system, and many implants were overlapped with the adjacent structures, in which the alveolar crest was impossible to find. Conclusion: Considering the earlier objective and error, we expect better results from an analysis of periapical radiograph than panoramic radiograph. Implementing additional function, we expect high extensibility of pattern recognition system as a diagnostic tool to evaluate implant-bone integration, calculate length from fixture to inferior alveolar nerve, and from fixture to base of the maxillary sinus.

This study aims to review Russia's annexation of Crimea from a maritime security perspective. Based on a comprehensive analysis of Russia's national security perception, this study analyzed Russia's maritime security strategy and the security importance of the Black Sea and the Sea of Azov, and reviewed the annexation of Crimea from a maritime security perspective. The main argument of this study is as follows. Russia's annexation of Crimea was necessary for the successful fulfillment of Russia's maritime security strategy in the Black and Azov Seas. Russia's annexation of Crimea guarantees the activities of the Black Sea Fleet militarily from a maritime security point of view, secures a passage to the Atlantic Ocean to counter NATO's expansion. From a economic security point of view, Russia's annexation of Crimea was based on the strategic considerations to secure influence within the Black Sea economic bloc which guarantees stable production and transportation of natural resources and shipping.
천문동 추출물의 호흡기 세균에 대한 항균활성 및 항산화

본 연구에서는 민간에서 호흡기 질환에 효능이 있다고 알려진 천문동 뿌리를 재료로 하고 추출물을 각각 달리하여 호흡기 세균에 대한 항균작용 및 항산화를 살펴보았다. 여러가지 추출용매 중 에틸 아세테이트 추출물에서만 호흡기 세균에 대한 항균활성이 나타났으며 최소저해농도(MIC)는 S. aureus와 E. coli는 100 mg/ml, S. epidermidis는 75 mg/ml, P. aeruginosa는 25 mg/ml로 각각 측정되어 P. aeruginosa 에 대한 항균활성이 가장 높았다. 항균 활성을 나타낸 에틸 아세테이트 추출물의 항산화 활성을 알아보기 위해 Lascorbic acid를 대조구로 하여 DPPH radical 소거활성을 측정한 결과는 IC50은 각각 0.17, 3.83 mg/ml로 나타났다. 또한 총 폴리페놀 및 플라보노이드 함량은 측정한 결과 각각 14 ± 0.7, 0.50 ± 0.13 mg/g을 나타내었다. 본 연구는 천문동연구의 초석으로서 향후에 생리활성 효과를 증진시킬 수 있는 연구가 더 진행된다면 건강기능식품소재로서 가능성이 있다고 생각된다. This study was aimed at determining the antioxidant and antimicrobial effects of solvent extracts from Asparagus cochinchinensis. The Asparagus cochinchinensis was extracted with water, methanol, ethanol, n-hexane, dichloromethane, ethyl acetate, and ether. The antimicrobial activity of these extracts was determined by modified well diffusion methods against 4 species of respiratory disease bacteria (Staphylococcus aureus, Escherichia coli, Staphylococcus epidermidis, and Pseudomonas aeruginosa). In addition, the amount of total polyphenol and flavonoid content, and antioxidant activity was evaluated. Ethyl acetate extract of A. cochinchinensis exhibited higher antimicrobial activity against tested microorganisms than water, methanol, ethanol, n-hexane, dichloromethane, and ether extracts. For antioxidant activity, the ethyl acetate extract of A. cochinchinensis exhibited a notable effect on the scavenging of superoxide against DPPH (IC50 = 3.81 mg/ml). Finally, the total polyphenol and flavonoid contents were 14 ± 0.7 mg/g, and 0.50 ± 0.13 mg/g, respectively. These results can be regarded as basic research into A. cochinchinensis for the prevention of respiratory diseases. The results indicate that A. cochinchinensis may be utilized as a nutraceutical for respiratory diseases when the physiologically active substances of A. cochinchinensis are increased by further study.
바이오연료 연소 시 발생하는 알칼리 금속이 NH3-SCR 반응에 미치는 영향 연구

유기성 폐기물 시장의 활성화 일환으로 유기성 폐기물을 자원화하여 연료로 활용 가능하다. 특히 바이오연료의 경우 연소과정에서 질소산화물 및 알칼리 금속이 배출된다. 바이오연료 발전설비의연소 과정에서 발생하는 질소산화물 저감 방법 중 가장 효율적이고 경제적인 처리 방법은 선택적촉매 환원법으로 알려져 있다. 하지만 알칼리 금속에 의한 탈질촉매 피독으로 인한 성능 저하 문제가발생한다. 따라서, 본 연구에서는 유기성 폐기물을 자원화하여 연료로 사용하는데 있어 바이오연료연소시 배가스에 포함된 알칼리 금속(Na, K)이 선택적 촉매 환원법에 있어서 촉매 반응에 미치는영향을 연구하였다. 촉매는 상용촉매로 널리 사용되고 있는 바나듐-텅스텐-티타니아 촉매를 사용하였으며 알칼리 금속에 의한 활성 저하 원인을 규명하고자 물리⋅화학적 특성 분석을 수행하였다.
