노인요양기관종사자의 심리적 자본이 이직의도 및 직무만족에 미치는 영향

Objectives: This study aims to examine the effect of psychological capital on turnover intension and job satisfaction by aged care facility workers. Methods : Samples were obtained from 147 aged care facility workers in one county of Kyungsangbukdo. The study conducted a correlation and a regression analysis to learn how psychological capital (self-efficacy, hope, optimism, resilience) would affect turnover intension and job satisfaction. Results : First, age and marital status turned out to have a positive (+) influence on job satisfaction which would be negative (-) affected by tenure of office. Second, hope, sub-variable of Psychological Capital, affected a negative (-) influence on turnover intension. Third, resilience, sub-variable of Psychological Capital, affected a positive(+) influence on job satisfaction. Conclusions: It is suggested to develop the psychological capital of aged care facility workers, effective welfare system and educational program are required for better job satisfaction.

Objectives: This study aimed to examine the effect of successful aging on depression and social capital(trust, norm, participation, network) of the elderly. Methods: Samples were obtained from 184 people aged over 65 years old in one county of Kyungsangbukdo. Data were analyzed with t-test, ANOVA and regression analysis. Results: First, depression, social capital and successful aging were significantly different by age, economic status and religion. Secondly, regression analysis showed that depression affected a negative influence on successful aging in Model 1, which analyzed only depression. However, Model 2, which analyzed depression and social capital at the same time, showed that only social capital affected successful aging. Conclusions: It was suggested to develop health promotion and social participation program are required for successful aging of the elderly.

노인의 이미지가 성공적 노화에 미치는 영향

The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of elder's image on successful aging and the mediating effect of ageism. To investigate the cause and effect of factors, we purposively collected 315 samples from 4 senior welfare centers in Jeonju, Korea and exploited SEM(Structural equation modeling) for 297 cases excluding some cases with missing values. As the results, first, we found the positive elder's image effected the successful aging. Second, the positive elder's image also effected the experience of ageism. Third, the increase of ageism experience negatively effected the successful ageing. Fourth, the elder's image had partially mediating effect of ageism on the successful aging. The study suggested the ageism overlapped with lookism could deepen discrimination against the elderly and consequently influence the successful aging. Therefore we suggested image management programs should be provided to the elderly. 본 연구는 노인의 이미지가 성공적 노화요인에 영향을 미칠 것이라 점을 검증하고자 했으며 이와 같은 관계에서 차별경험이 매개효과가 있음을 추가로 검증하고자 했다. 경험적 연구를 위해서 전주시에 소재한 4개의 노인복지관을 이용하는 노인 중 응답자를 편의 추출하여 설문지로 응답을 얻었다. 회수된 설문지 315케이스 중에 결측값이나 불성실한 응답을 제외하고 297케이스가 분석대상이 되었다. 요인분석, 신뢰도분석, 요인간의 관계를 확인하기 위해서 구조방정식 모형분석 (SEM: Structural Equation Modeling)등을 실시하였다. 검증결과 첫째, 노인의 이미지가 긍정적으로 평가 될수록 노인의 성공적 노화에 미치는 영향은 높다. 둘째, 노인의 이미지에 긍정성 정도가 높을수록 노인차별을 적게 받았다. 셋째, 노인차별경험이 많을수록 성공적 노화의 가능성 낮아지고 있음이 확인되었다. 넷째, 이미지가 차별경험을 부분적으로 매개하여 성공적 노화에 영향을 미쳤다. 결과적으로 노인의 이미지가 성공적 노화에 영향을 미치고 있으며, 이미지는 노인차별에 영향을 미쳐, 노인차별을 심화시킬 수 있음을 설명하고 있고 그 결과로 성공적 노화에도 영향을 미친다고 판단된다. 따라서 노인차별과 성공적 노화의 대응전략으로서 노인의 이미지 관리가 중요한 실천과제로 인식된다.

Hand-Schuller-Christian disease, originally referring to the classic triad of skull defects, exphthalmos and diabetes insipidus, is more broadly used to include instances in which there are multiple skeletal lesions or in which more than one system is involved. Authors experienced a case of Hand-schuller-Christian disease in a 6-year and 9 month-old female patient who had classic triad, multiple skeletal lesions and growth retardation. The diagnosis was confirmed by clinical symptoms, laboratory data, radiologic, and histopathologic findings. The patient was treated with vinblastine, prednisolone, and DDAVP for diabetes insipidus with good response. A breif review of literature was made.

일개지역 노인의 일상생활수행능력과 우울, 사회 참여가 자살생각에 미치는 영향

Objectives: This study aimed to examine the effect of Activities Daily Living(ADL)(physical health), depression(mental health), social participation(social health) on suicidal ideation among community dwelling elderly. Methods: Samples were obtained from 184 people aged over 65 years old in one county of Kyungsangbukdo. The survey samples were divided into the presence and absence group of the suicidal ideation. Data were analyzed with x² test, t-test and logistic regression analysis. Results: First, suicidal ideation were significantly different by religion. Secondly, after adjusting for socio-economic variables, logistic regression analysis showed that only depression was associated with higher odds of suicidal ideation Conclusions: It was suggested to develop customized depression and suicide prevention program were required to reduce suicide rate of the elderly.

보건학 전공 대학생 대상 금연교육 프로그램 개발

Objectives: This study aimed to develop a smoking cessation education program and to provide basic data for evaluating program for university students majoring in health sciences. Methods: The education program was developed based on the instructional system design model(ADDIE), that was based on literature review, brainstorming, and interviews of related experts. Education program was implemented for 2 sessions of 3 hours to the 82 university students majoring in health science. Knowledge, competency, and self-efficacy for performance of smoking cessation were analyzed. One group pre- & post-test design was used for evaluation of this program. Results: In the analysis stage, a total of 5 duties, 16 tasks, and 55 task elements were derived. In the design and development stage, based on job analysis, education program contents were composed of understanding ​ ​ tobacco, planning and implementation of smoking cessation program, smoking cessation counseling and drug treatment. After this education program, students achieved remarkable improvement in increasing knowledge, competency, and self-efficacy for smoking cessation counselling and program. Conclusions: It is needed to be included the smoking cessation education in department related to health science regular course.

일개 군 지역 보건소 공무원의 직무특성과 조직몰입이 직무만족에 미치는 영향 : 다른 직렬 공무원과 비교

Objectives: The purpose of this study was to identify factors affecting job satisfaction ofPublic Health Center Officials in rural area. Methods: The 345 survey samples were divided into public health center officials(n=56) and other serial officials(n=289). Data were analyzed with χ2, two sample t-test and regression analysis. Results: First, public health center officials showed a significantly higher job commitment and job satisfaction than other serial civil officials. Second, public health center officials showed the effect of only job commitment on job satisfaction whereas other serial civil officials showed the effect of both job characteristics and job commitment on job satisfaction Conclusion: In order to increase of job satisfaction and provide health education services to the community, it was necessary to improve of motivation and working condition of public health officials. .

The purpose of this study was to examine the influence of long-term care insurance(LTCI) settlement on life satisfaction of female caregivers for the elderly. In September of 2013, we conducted a survey of 300 female subjects over 65 years old living in Jeonju. For empirical verification, χ², t-test and regression under control of socio-economic variables were applied to determine whether LTCI settlements changed the level of life satisfaction of female caregivers. First, the results showed that caregivers who were not covered by LTCI had higher healthy life satisfaction than those covered with LTCI. Second, life satisfaction of female caregivers is higher when income and education levels are higher. Third, LTCI settlement did not affect five sub factors of caregivers’life satisfaction. The results suggested that LTCI policy should cover not only the insured but also caregivers’physical and mental aspects.
