Objectives : The aim of this study was to evaluate clinical effects of Needle embeeding therapy on Chronic low back pain. Methods : The patients have been treated only with Needle embeeding therapy for once a week for 4 weeks. To estimate the efficacy of Needle embeeding therapy and functional changes of patients we have checked VNRS and ODI every week. Results : The Needle embedding therapy reduced VNRS and ODI score. Conclusion : The result suggests Needle embeeding therapy can be effective treatment on patients with Chronic low back pain.
요추굴곡신연기법과 좌위흉요추교정법을 이용한 청소년기 특발성 척추측만증 환자 치험 2례

Objectives : The purpose of this study was to report clinical effects of Lumbar flexion-distraction manipulation and Sitting position thoracic and lumbar vertebra adjustment manipulation on patient with Juvenile idiopathic scoliosis Methods : The patients have been treated with the above two Chuna manual manipulations. We measured Cobb's angle, VNRS before and after treatment Results : After treatment, we confirmed these transition : In first case, Cobb's angle of T-spine changed from 27 to 23 : Cobb's angle of L-spine changed from 17 to 10 : VNRS changed from 6 to 2. In second case Cobb's angle of T-spine changed from 30 to 21 : Cobb's angle of L-spine changed from 16 to 16 : VNRS chagned from 6 to 3 Conclusion : The result suggests that these two Chuna manual manipulations were effective treatment on patients with Juvenile idiopathic scoliosis.

This study improved conventional circle settling basin, through the way such as extend of inlet pipe length, introduction of device for inducing uniforming of flow, keeping of height of sludge interface. Also, we compared conventional circle settling basin to improved circle settling basin the water treatment efficiency. When the amount of inflow is the same design amount, improvement rate of SS and COD were 71.1%, 20.1% approximately compared to conventional Circular clarifiers. And when the two times than design amount, improvement rate of SS and COD were 54.0%, 16.1% approximately. Also when the three times than design amount, improvement rate of SS and COD were 45.0%, 12.7% approximately.

Objectives: The purpose of this study is to report clinical effects of Pyung-Hyung acupunture treatment for fibromyalgia syndrome. Methods: The patient was treated by Pyung-Hyung acupuncture treatment, herbal medicine, Pharmacopuncture treatment, Burning acupunture, Chuna manual medicine. And the effects of Fibromylagia syndrome are measured in VAS. PRS. Results: After treatment, VAS and PRS were improved; VAS form 10 to 2; PRS from 117 to 40. Conclusion: These results suggest that Pyung-Hyung acupuncture treatment was effective to reduce pain of fibromylagia syndrome.

In this paper, a Progressive Damage and Failure Analysis (PDFA) modeling method was developed using ABAQUS/EXPLICIT to predict in-plane damage and delamination for Open-Hole Compression (OHC) testing. The proposed PDFA model was constructed based on Hashin criteria and cohesive behavior. The strength and stiffness of OHC specimens with three types of stacking sequences [(45/-45/0<sub>2</sub>)<sub>3</sub>]<sub>s</sub> , [(45/0/-45/90)<sub>3</sub>]<sub>s</sub> and [45/-45/0/45/-45/90/(45/-45)<sub>2</sub>]<sub>s</sub> were compared to comprehensively evaluate the validity of the Finite Element(FE) model of PDFA. The strength and stiffness of the OHC specimens were predicted relatively well, with less than a percentage error 10.0 %. For the numerical simulation case for each layup, the damage initiation/evolution of OHC specimens were evaluated for delamination and tension/compression matrix damage before and after failure.

Background : Posture imbalance is related to the loss of height and can frequently be managed by myofascial release (MFR), Chuna therapy, and exercise. Postural changes are not only affected by spinal flexibility, muscle activity, and passive tissue, but also exist gender differences. However, no research has investigated gender differences in height growth in patients with body imbalance when applying myofascial release, Chuna therapy, and exercise. Objectives : This study was designed to investigate the effect of integrated correction program (myofascial release, Chuna therapy, and exercise) on height for patients with body imbalance and compared gender differences Methods : In total, 166 patients (67 men, 99 women) with body imbalance were recruited. All participants performed integrated correction program. The height was measured using an Inbody. Differences in outcomes between pre and post integrated correction program were analyzed using a paired t-test. Gender differences of integrated correction program were analyzed using an independent t-test. Results : After 12 weeks integrated correction program, height was significantly increased post than before intervention in both men and women (men: t = -7.351, p < 0.001; women: t = -13.760, p < 0.001). The percent change of height was significantly greater in women compared in men (t = -2.760, p = 0.006). Conclusions : The integrated correction program will be a useful method to increase height by correcting posture imbalance, especially for women.

Purpose : The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of Dang Dang integrated corrective therapy including myofascial release, chuna therapy, and exercise therapy on height, muscle mass, body fat, and body water in patients with body imbalance. The secondary aim was to investigate whether the percent of change in height, muscle mass, body fat, and body water varied by age group. Methods : In total, 279 patients with body imbalance between the ages of 10 and 79 were recruited at hospitals. All participants had Dang Dang integrated corrective therapy including myofascial release, chuna therapy, and exercise therapy. The patients’ height, muscle mass, body fat, and body water were measured before and after Dang Dang integrated corrective therapy using InBody. Results : The height, muscle mass, and body water significantly increased after Dang Dang integrated corrective therapy in all age groups except for the 70∼79 age group and body fat significantly decreased (p < .05). The age group comparison of the percent change in height, muscle mass, and body water showed significant differences (p < .05). In the post hoc test, the percent change of height in the 10∼19 age group was significantly greater than in the other age groups except for the 70∼79 age group. The percent change of muscle mass and body water in the 10∼19 age group was significantly greater than in the 30∼39 age group. Conclusion : These findings suggest that applying Dang Dang integrated corrective therapy to patients with body imbalance, excluding patients aged 70∼79, may be a useful method to increase height, muscle mass, and body water and decrease body fat through spinal and joint realignment. The best results were observed in teenagers.
