NBDP시스템에서 9디지트 해상이동식별번호는 7-신호 식별부호로 변환되어 호출국을 자동식별하기 위한 위상동기절차를 거쳐 정보송신국(ISS)의 클럭에 동기 되는데 사용된다. 본 연구에서는 NBDP시스템의 ARQ 모드에서의 페이징절차에서, 호출동기를 위한 자동식별 동기방법과 식별신호간의 변환 및 점검합신호의 검출 알고리즘을 정리하고, 호출의 위상동기를 ITU-R에서 정하고 있는 조건보다 더 빠르게 동기될 수 있는 위상동기방법을 제안하였다. The 9-digit MMSI(Maritime Mobile Service Identity) in the NBDP is converted to the 7-digit identity signal, used to identify to the phase of and to synchronize to the clock of the ISS(Information Sending Station) automatically for phasing procedure between radio stations. In this paper, algorithms for the automatic identification phasing procedures and for conversions, calculations between 7-signals and 9-identity, those check-numbers in the phasing procedures for calling of the NBDP are discussed and designed. And a method of the faster locking and phasing for calling than that of recommended by ITU-R is suggested and implemented.
광대역 CDMA를 이용한 IMT-2000 회로 설계 및 성능 평가에 관한 연구

본 연구에서는 광대역 CDMA의 특징과 광대역 CDMA 기술을 이용한 IMT-2000용 단말기에 요구되는 기술규격에 대해서 연구하고 제안하여, 제안된 규격을 만족하는 RF회로 및 이론적 모델을 분석하여 설계하였다. 본 연구에서 구현된 단말기의 RF회로는 3개의 부분으로 구성되어 평가되었다. 주파수합성부는 스왈로우 카운터와 고차 루프필터를 통해 스퓨리어스를 감소시켰다. 송신부의 출력은 50mW이며, 스퓨리어스특성은 5MHz옵셋에서 -40dB/30kHz이며, 전력제어범위는 -20dB이다. 환경 및 이론적설계에서 고려되어야 할 제안 특성들은 가능한 한 간단히 표현되었으나, 본 연구의 결과를 통해 광대역 CDMA 이동통신 시스템의 설계에 활용될 수 있을 것이다. In this dissertation, the characteristics of W-CDMA(Wideband CDMA) are studied and required specifications of IMT-2000 transceiver using W-CDMA method are proposed. Also, in order to design the RF circuits satisfied the proposed specifications, theoretical models are expanded and real circuits are made. Then the RF circuits of the mobile stations are implemented in the three parts, transmitter, receiver and frequency synthesizer and are evaluated. The frequency synthesizer is designed using techniques of swallow counter and passive 3rd loop filter. For improving characteristics of the loop, a LPF was added to the 2nd loop filter. So although the locking times are loosed, the spurious are reduced. The output power of transmitter is over 50mW, the spurious output is -40dB/30kHz at 5MHz offset and power control range is -20dB at 2.5V. The proposed specifications are considered in highly practical environment and the theoretical designs and the experiments are expressed as simply as possible in order to facilitate understanding. It stands to reason that the results of this study can be used to design the wider CDMA(25MHz Bandwidth) mobile communication systems.
방사선조사와 당뇨병이 백서 악하선의 caspase-3 발현에 미치는 영향

Purpose : To observe the histopathological changes and caspase-3 expression in the submandibular gland in streptozotocin-induced diabetic rats after irradiation. Materials and Methods : The male Sprague-Dawley rats weighing approximately 250 gm were divided into four groups: control, diabetes, irradiation, and diabetes-irradiation groups. Diabetes mellitus was induced in the rats by injecting streptozotocin. Rats in the control and irradiation groups were injected with citrate buffer only. After 5 days, rats in irradiation and diabetes-irradiation groups were irradiated with a single absorbed dose of 10 Gy to the head and neck region. All the rats were sacrificed at 3, 7, 14, 21, and 28 days after irradiation. The specimen including the submandibular gland were sectioned and observed using histopathological and immunohistochemical methods. Results : In the irradiation group, the condensed nucleus, karyolysis, and degeneration of the acinar cells and atrophy of the duct cells were observed in the early experimental phase. However, the acinar cells were found to be normal at 28 days after irradiation. In the diabetes group, the condensed nucleus, karyolysis, atrophy, and degeneration of the acinar cells were observed in the early experimental phase. However, the acinar cells were found to be normal at 21 days after diabetic state induction. In the diabetes-irradiation group, the ductal epithelial cells were predominant in their glandular tissues at 28 days after irradiation. In all of the experimental groups, the most prominent change of the acinar cells and ductal cells were observed at 14 days after diabetic state induction and irradiation. Conclusion : The expression of caspase-3 in the acinar cells and ductal cells of the submandibular gland was weak after irradiation, but that in the acinar cells, ductal cells, and fibrous cells of the submandibular gland was prominent after diabetic state induction.
측두하악관절에서 관절융기 형태와 관절원판 변위와의 연관성 연구

Purpose : To investigate the hypothesis that the morphology of the articular eminence of the temporomandibular joint is a predisposing factor for disc displacement. Materials and Methods : MR images of 126 temporomandibular joints in 94 patients were analyzed to assess for morphology of the articular eminence and disc displacement. The displaced disc was further categorized as disc displacement with reduction(DDWR) and disc displacement without reduction(DDWOR). The morphology of the articular eminence was classified into four types; box, sigmoid, flattened, and deformed. The relationship between the four types of shape of the articular eminence and the two types of disc position was assessed. Results : In the DDWR and DDWOR groups, the morphology of articular eminence were a box type in 40.5%, a sigmoid type in 30.2%, a flattened type in 24.6%, and a deformed type in 4.7%. The box type of the articular eminence were 34.3% in the DDWR group and 42.9% in the DDWOR group. The sigmoid type of the articular eminence were 34.3% in the DDWR group and 28.6% in the DDWOR ㅎgroups. The flattuned type of the articular eminence were 28.6% in the DDWR group and 23.1% in the DDWOR group. The deformed type of articular eminence were 2.9% in the DDWR group and 5.5% in the DDWOR group. Conclusion : Disc displacement is more likely to be found in the temporomandibular joints with a box-shaped articular eminence, It can be considered that shape of the articular eminence is related to the development of disc displacement.(Korean J Oral Maxillofac Radiol 2001; 31 : 145-51)

1. Purpose : We designed this study to evaluate the clinical efficacy and functional outcome of anterior curettage, decompression and interbody fusion for the treatment of vertebral osteomyelitis. 2. Material and methods: Thirty-two patients with 2 years follow-up after anterior decompression and interbody fusion for the vertebral osteomyelitis were analyzed. Thirteen patients were male and 19 were female with mean age of 46 years old. Criteria that evaluated the result of the AIBF was based on that of the Medical Research Council Working Party on Tuberculosis of the Spine(1978). Changes of kyphotic angle and status of bony union were assessed and compared with preoperative, postoperative and last follow-up plain lateral roentgenogram. 3. Results : The results of treatment was poor in one patient fair in one, good in 29 patients, and remaining one patient was died because of renal failure. The averge period of fusion was 4.6 months. In thoracic vertebra the change of kyphotic angle were 19.2 degree, 15.2 degree, and 20.4 degree in preoperative, postoperative and on last follow-up. In lumbar vertebra, the changes of lordotic angle were 15.3 degree, 23.1 degree and 16.2 degree in preoperative, postoperative and on last follow-up. Complications included increased kyphosis, bone graft resorption, pseudoarthosis and pain of the main wound site or bone graft donor site. But there was no close relationship between the clinical outcome and with above complications. 4. Conclusions : Anterior curettage, decompression and interbody fusion for the treatment of vertebral osteomyelitis should be a reliable treatment modality in the viewpoint of safety and effectiveness.
