The purpose of this study is to consider the relationship between form and content and view of the novel in “Wall of Rumors.” This study deals with the function and the effect of detective plot and multiple-layered structure and then the relationship between the function and the content. Lastly, this study considers Lee’s view of novels. Plot is a design to find out what suppressed desire is. Detective plot in “Wall of rumors” is generated by the narrator’s curiosity about Park Jun’s life. The speaker collects clues to trace Park’s secrets and constructs them into narrative to understand why Park’s desire is suppressed. Though the structure in “Wall of rumors” is layered, it is a kind of story-within-a story. While the speaker recollects the past, the speaker―outside the narrative―reflects and explores himself. The detective plot and multiple-layered structure makes readers overlap themselves with the speaker, so readers can explore what their oppressed desires are as the speaker. “Wall of Rumors” describes the process to find out the meaning of sign. Anyone who encounters sign is forced to interpret its meaning. To interpret it, the one makes use of all information he can use. After interpreting, the one finds out current meaning of sign and comprehends why sign cause him to feel something. Tracing Park’s life, the speaker finds out the hidden truth inside of himself. This is only possible in literature to find out the truth of life. This is the reason why narrator follows Park Jun’s life. As for Lee Chung-Jun, novel is kind of mental experiment to give matters of life to the readers. Lee describes process to explore what real suppression is in his novels. However Lee does not give a clear answer to the readers. Therefore, readers can form their own conclusion. This is similar to the view of Lee’s novel that can be interpreted the meaning of his works variously. The function of forms is to speculate the matters of live with the readers. And the readers follow the process of learning to face the truth. In the process, Lee makes the readers form their own meaning to the works not follow the fixed meaning.

In this study, the KS A ISO Guide 35 was applied to develop analytical standards for heavy metal cadmium using the Korean mussel (Mytilus coruscus) and to evaluate the homogeneity and stability of the sample. Some of the crucial characteristics that reference materials must consist include homogeneity and stability of both intra- and inter-bottles. We tested homogeneity using ANOVA analysis and short-term stability using regression analysis. The variations of cadmium concentrations did not significantly differ between intra- and inter-bottles (F=0.41, p=0.90). For short-term stability verification, cadmium analysis results were not statistically significant as a result of the regression analysis (significance F=0.51, p=0.53). This suggests that we can not dismiss the null hypothesis that there is no significant variation in concentrations of cadmium over time. These results indicated that the cryogenic-milling process has statistically proven the short-term stability for materials from mussels in the chemical analysis of cadmium. Therefore, we propose that the Korean mussel’s reference material developed for the proficiency test could be used as a tool to evaluate reliability and consistency in laboratories.

‘캐리’는 운전에 어려움을 느끼는 초보 운전자와 장롱면허자의 안전운전을 위해 고안된 어플리케이션이다. ‘캐리’ 어플과 차량용 인공지능 스피커를 통해서 보다 안전하고, 심리적으로 안정된 상황에서 운전을 할 수 있도록 돕는다. 또한, 본 기능을 공유-렌터카 업체와 연동함으로써, 교통사고 발생 빈도가 상대적으로 높은 초보 운전자들에게 합리적인 가격으로 운전 교습을 제공하고, 심리적 안정감을 증진시키는 것을 목표로 한다. 본 논문에서는 ‘캐리" 어플리케이션의 프로토타입을 디자인 하는 과정을 담았으며, 그 과정에서 이루어진 설문조사와 사용성 평가의 결과를 중심으로 기술하였다. 각 평가는 "캐리"가 사용자들의 니즈를 정화하게 충족시키고 있는지, 어플의 디자인이 사용자에게 직관적으로 이용되고 있는지에 대해서 알아보기 위해 진행되었다. 평가는 실제 주행 환경이 아닌 테이블 테스트로 진행되었으며, 현재는 모듈 완성 이후 테스트 차량을 통한 사용자 평가와 AI Agent Device 베타 버전 평가를 진행중이다.

수소부품 안전성 평가를 위한 극저온 챔버용 열교환기 성능 해석

세계적으로 각광받고 있는 친환경 교통수단인 수소버스의 부품의 안전성을 검증하기 위하여 검증장비 개발이 활발히 이루어지고 있다. 본 연구는 수소버스 안전성을 평가하기 위한 장비 중 하나인 고압부품 수소리크 시험 및 TPRD(thermally activated pressure relief device) thermal cycle 시험 장치에 포함되는 극저온 챔버를 구동하기 위한 적절한 열교환기를 설계하기 위한 열교환기의 열 및 유동해석을 진행하였다. 수소부품의 안전성을 평가하기 위해 부품을 수용할 수 있는 온도조절이 가능한 극저온 챔버를 위한 열교환기의 필요 성능을 검증하고 챔버 내 온도구배를 해석함으로써 정립되지 않은 수소버스 시험설비를 제작하기 위해 필요한 열교환기의 필요 용량 및 규격을 제시하고 수소부품을 위한 극저온 시험설비를 제작하기 위한 설계 기준안을 제시하고자 한다. The development of verification equipment is actively being conducted to verify the safety of parts of hydrogen buses, which is an eco-friendly means of transportation that is in the spotlight around the world. Heat and flow analysis of a heat exchanger was conducted to design a suitable heat exchanger for driving a cryogenic chamber included in a thermally activated pressure relief device thermal cycle test apparatus, which is one piece of equipment used for evaluating the safety of a hydrogen bus. To evaluate the safety of hydrogen components, the necessary performance of the heat exchanger to maintain the temperature was verified for cryogenic chambers capable of temperature control, and the temperature gradient in the chamber was analyzed. This analysis can help in understanding the required capacity and standard of heat exchangers needed to manufacture unestablished hydrogen bus test facilities and to prepare design standards when manufacturing cryogenic test facilities for hydrogen components.

Currently, a lot of people are aware of their health and well-being, so they are concerned about their healthcare. ‘Taekwondo’ is one of the popular sports that Korean people are passionate about Taekwondo has also become globalized. The uniform of Taekwondo is gaining importance. Taekwondo involves a lot of movement, hence the pattern should facilitate the movement. In addition Taekwondo uniform pattern should meet the demands of functionality, fit and consumer design preferences. This study aimed to provide the basic data for development of Taekwondo uniform pattern based on design preferences and functionality to wearer satisfaction. The result of this method indicated fit and design details. Also, the length of pants, top, and sleeve was too wide, which has to more fitted for both of genders. For females, the breakpoint was too low, which requires some increase to make females feel more secure. In conclusion, the results of this study indicated that in order to increase ‘Takwondo’ value, Taekwondo uniform is required to be more fashionable and comfortable to wear, which could influence other sports wear.

한글 글꼴의 세리프 및 네모틀 여부에 따른 친숙성과 선호도

한글 글꼴의 눈에 띄는 특성에는 세리프 및 네모틀 여부가 있다. 꺾임 또는 삐침으로 장식된 글꼴은 세리프(serif)로 분류되며, 이러한 장식이 없는 글꼴은 산세리프(san-serif)로 분류된다. 반면 네모틀은 알파벳 글꼴에는 없는 특징 범주이며, 가상의 사각형 안에 자, 모음, 그리고 받침이 조화를 이루는 특징을 의미한다. 본 연구는 오랫동안 광범위하게 사용되어 온 세리프와 네모틀 글꼴 특성을 보유한 글꼴이 그렇지 않은 글꼴보다 친숙성과 선호도가 높을 것을 가정했다. 이 가설을 검증하기 위해 한글 팬그램을 사용한 네모틀 및 탈네모틀 글꼴 그리고 세리프 및 산세리프 글꼴을 제시해 해당 네모틀 및 세리프 유무에 따른 친숙성과 선호도를 조사했다. 그 결과 참가자들은 탈네모틀 글꼴에 비해 네모틀 글꼴에 대해 친숙성과 선호도를 모두 높게 평가했으나 세리프와 산세리프 사이에 이러한 차이는 발견되지 않았다. 더 나아가 친숙성과 선호도 사이의 정적 상관은 탈네모틀 세리프 글꼴에 대해서만 관찰되었다. 이 결과는 네모틀의 특징을 보유한 한글 글꼴이 그렇지 않은 글꼴에 비해 더 친숙하고 선호될 가능성을 의미한다. 특히 본 연구는 한글 글꼴 사용자들에 있어서 익숙하고 편안한 글꼴로 네모틀 글꼴이 권장되며, 더 나아가 세리프를 동반한 네모틀 글꼴이 사용될 경우 이러한 긍정적 감성이 향상될 가능성을 시사한다. Korean typefaces are characterized on two axes: a font is either serifed or non-serifed, and it is either square-frame or non-squared. A serifed font entails small strokes that are regularly attached to the ends of larger strokes. Conversely, fonts without these marks are termed sans-serif. One of the exclusive features of Korean typeface of the square-frame type is that in such fonts, vowels and consonants often with their final vowels, are harmonically placed within the boundaries of the virtual square. We hypothesize that serifed and squared-frame typefaces are more popular and preferred owing to their widespread use throughout history. A survey incorporating Korean pangrams written with serif, sans-serif, squared, and non-squared typefaces was designed to test the present hypothesis. We found that people typically preferred and were more familiar with squared typefaces compared to non-squared typefaces. However, no difference was observed between serifed and san-serif typefaces. Furthermore, a positive correlation was found between familiarity and preference ratings only where the typefaces had squared and serifed features. The results revealed that Korean typefaces with the squared feature were more well-known and, therefore, more preferred to the typefaces without it. The results further indicated that Korean typefaces with the squared feature can be recommended for people’s familiarity to it and the comfort it provides, and their emotional relevance and sensibility enhanced if serifs are added.

본 논문은 Hybrid-ARQ기술 분석 및 최신 기술 동향에 대해 서술한다. HARQ는 오류 검출 기법의 하나로 FEC와 ARQ기법의 장점을 혼합한 기술로 볼 수 있으며 동작 방식에 따라 Type이 구분된다. 이러한 HARQ는 기술적 이점을 바탕으로 다양한 기술에서 정보처리 지연을 줄이기 위해 응용되고 있다. 혼합적 요소를 이점으로써 다양한 기술에 주요 기능으로 적용되는 것을 통해 앞으로의 통신기술 발전에 있어 HARQ의 기대도가 높을 것임을 확인하였다.
