Matrix metalloproteinases (MMPs) are proteolytic enzymes involved in degradation of the extracellular matrix.In a previous study, MMP-13 was found to be expressed in pulp implying its involvement in the pathogenesis of dental caries. Two extracted teeth were used. A sound tooth and a tooth with wide range of dental caries were used. Two sections were obtained each from isolated crown and root. Immunofluorescence of the FITC of the MMP-13 in coronal and radicular dentin was analyzed by confocal microscopy. Immunofluorescence signals that were indicative of MMP-13 were observed in coronal dentin of sound teeth and in carious teeth with a wide range of caries. Marked immunofluorescent reaction was observed in the border line of caries infected and affected coronal dentin. MMP-13 expression was not detected in the root dentin. The expressions of MMP-13 in carious dentin imply the roles of MMP-13 in caries progression.
치관, 치근 상아질에서 우식의 진행에 따른 Matrix Metalloproteinase- 8과 13의 서로 다른 발현 양상에 관한 연구

MMP-8 has been reported to be involved in the degradation of collagen in progression of dental caries. MMP-13 was found to be expressed in both normal and caries pulp, implying its involvement in the pathogenesis of dental caries. Methods: Four extracted teeth were used. They were categorized into four grades according to caries progression. Three sections were prepared from each separated crown and root. Immunofluorescence of the FITC of the MMP-8 and 13 in coronal and radicular dentin was analyzed by confocal microscopy. Results: Immunofluorescence signals that were indicative of MMP-8 were observed both in radicular and coronal dentin in the sound, C1 and C3 carious teeth. In C2 carious teeth, immunofluorescence signals that were indicative of MMP-8 were observed only in radicular dentin. Immunofluorescence signals that were indicative of MMP-13 were observed both in radicular and coronal dentin in the sound teeth. In C1, C2 and C3 carious teeth, immunofluorescence signals that were indicative of MMP-13 were not observed both in radicular and coronal dentin. Conclusion: Immunofluorescence signals revealed that MMP-8 and 13 were present in coronal and radicular dentin, and was differently expressed as caries progressed.

The travel time among demand points is changed not only distance but traffic conditions. The existing inventory routing problem (IRP) cannot give practical solutions by assuming average speed. Therefore this study defines IRP reflecting dynamicity in transport network as mathematical model for the time dependent inventory routing problem (TDIRP) and proposes the genetic algorithm that gives retailer’s optimal replenishment policy minimizing supplier’s the total average cost. Finally, the proposed genetic algorithm’s performance is tested and analyzed on various experiments from the viewpoint of solution quality and computational time to prove the proposed genetic algorithm’s excellence.
차폐점화과제와 비차폐점화과제에서 어휘빈도와 의미투명도가 복합명사의 분리처리에 미치는 효과

This study was planned to examine whether decomposition processes between modifier and head are necessary in the interpretation of compound nouns and whether word frequency and semantic transparency have an effect on the decomposition processes by comparing the masked priming task and the unmasked priming task. In Experiment 1, whether decomposition processes were influenced by the word frequency of compound nouns was analyzed and the amount of priming effects between the whole condition and the part condition were not different in the masked priming task but inconsistent results were found in the unmasked task. In Experiment 2, semantic transparency 's effects on the decomposition processes were investigated and similar results as experiment 1 were found. In conclusion, decomposition processes is pre-lexical and necessary processes in the interpretation of compound nouns 본 연구는 비차폐점화과제와 차폐점화과제를 비교하여 우리말 복합명사의 해석에 수식어와 핵심어의 분리처리가 필수적인 과정인지 그리고 어휘빈도와 의미투명도가 분리처리에 어떤 영향을 미치는지를 검증하였다. 실험 1에서는 복합명사의 초기 어휘처리과정을 알아보기 위해 차폐점화조건과 비차폐점화조건에서 점화자극과 표적어간의 전체 또는 일부가 반복될 때 나타나는 점화효과를 어휘빈도 조건별로 비교하여 복합명사의 분리처리과정을 분석하였다. 차폐점화조건에서는 어휘빈도나 점화조건과 무관하게 전체조건과 부분조건간의 차이가 관찰되지 않았으나, 비차폐점화조건의 경우 수식어에서는 어휘빈도와 무관하게 전체조건보다 부분조건에서 더 큰 점화효과가 관찰되었으며 핵심어에서는 전체조건과 부분조건간의 차이가 분명하게 관찰되지 않았다. 실험 2에서는 의미투명도에 따라 복합명사의 분리처리 양상이 달라지는지를 차폐점화과제와 비차폐점화과제를 비교하여 검토하였다. 그 결과 실험 1과 마찬가지로 차폐점화조건에서 의미투명도에 무관하게 전체조건과 부분조건간의 차이가 관찰되지 않았다. 이러한 결과는 복합명사의 이해과정에서 하위 구성어로의 분리처리가 어휘처리 초기에 일어남을 시사한다.
