In this study, female college students in their 20s having surgical or non-surgical cosmetic operations were examined to identify their level of interest in appearance and the appearance pursuance groups were made grouped based on level of interest on appearance, and the difference of awareness on cosmetic operation per group and actual cosmetic plastic surgery behavior were identified through empirical analysis. Data were collected using questionnaires. This study excludes female college students included in the preliminary studies and was carried out from March 21 to March 30, 2018. A total of 309 copies were used for the final analysis. SPSS for Windows 21.0 was used for analyzing the data and to verify the research problem, frequency analysis, factor analysis, reliability analysis, one-way ANOVA, and follow-up analysis using Duncan-test was carried out, while conducting cross-analysis and the non-hierarchial clustering method of K-means. First, interest level on appearance are categorized into the three factors of self-consciousness, self expression and social achievement. Grouping according to level of interest on appearance was categorized into the self-expression pursuing groups, selfconsciousness pursuing groups and social achievement pursuing groups. Second, it was found that there was statistically significant difference (p<0.001) for the cosmetic operation perception among the groups categorized by interest level on appearance. Third, the difference of cosmetic operation behavior and cosmetic operation motivation according to interest level on appearance was not at a significant level and it was found that cosmetic operation information source had statistically significant differences (p<.05).

This paper aims to examine the jazz elements such as riffs, improvisations, call-and-response techniques, swing feelings, set melodies, solos and variations in Toni Morrison's Jazz. In the novel, Morrison adapts the mode of jazz to depict the experience of the black community in Harlem of New York during the 1920s, the decade known as the Jazz Age. Moreover, Morrison's utilization of jazz in the novel follows a well-established tradition in African-American literature of using rhythm, tempo, cadence and beat. The love scandal, which is the set melody in jazz, is repeated like riffs and expanded through solos by the characters. Although readers expect the tragic ending, they surprisingly find a conclusion of public and free love. This paper also explains this denouement as the variation of jazz. Both the human and jazz voices play out the same stories, using repetition and revision through jazz elements. Indeed, they are all part of the same performance.

눌재(訥齋) 박상(朴祥)의 「사십팔영(四十八詠)」시의 창작 양상과 특징

눌재 박상의 문집 『눌재집』 권4에는 산수 초목 등을 제재로 한 48수의 시가 수록되어 있다. 본 논문은 안평대군으로부터 시작된 「사십팔영」의 한 작품이라 추정되는 이 작품군의 정체를 밝히고, 전대의 「사십팔영」과 비교 분석하여 연관성과 특징을 찾는 데 목적을 두었다. 박상의 「사십팔영」은 대제목이 명명되어 있지 않고 관련 기록이 남아 있지 않아 실제로는 그 정체를 단언하기 힘들다. 하지만 여타 「사십팔영」과의 비교를 통해 규명할 수 있다. 시조 격인 안평대군의 「사십팔영」은 소실되었으나, 이를 가장 이른 시기에 차운한 최항의 「사십팔영」을 대표작으로 삼아 비교할 수 있다. 그 결과 박상의 「사십팔영」과 최항의 「사십팔영」은 체제가 서로 유사하였으며, 하위 작품의 운자도 일치하였다. 이 점은 박상의 「사십팔영」이 안평대군의 「사십팔영」과 연관관계에 있으며, 곧 안평대군의 「사십팔영」을 이은 작품임을 보여준다. 박상의 「사십팔영」과 전대의 「사십팔영」을 하위 작품 간 비교 분석할 때, 구체적인 연관성을 찾아볼 수 있다. 박상과 최항의 「사십팔영」에서는 수련에서 제재의 출처를 밝히고 함련에서 외형을 묘사하며 경련에서 제재와 관련한 전고, 객관적 사실 등을 제시하고 미련에서 작자의 의도를 표하는 양식을 공통으로 확인할 수 있다. 이는 원나라 문인 양재(楊載)의 『시법가수』에서 제시된 영물시의 장법과 일치하는 것으로, 곧 박상의 「사십팔영」이 최항의 「사십팔영」과 장법상 연관성을 가지고 있음을 보여준다. 박상의 「사십팔영」은 최항의 「사십팔영」과 장법상 연관관계를 이루지만, 작자의 개성에 따른 작시 특성이 함께 존재하였다. 박상의 「사십팔영」은 장법에 따라 연마다 서로 다른 측면에서 제재를 표현하면서도 시간적 배경, 외형, 상태 등 특정 요소를 매개로 삼아 통섭하였다. 그리하여 작품은 치밀한 교직을 이루고 있다. 이 점은 장법을 적용하여 제재를 여러 측면에서 다루는 과정에서 연 사이의 통섭이 억제된 최항의 「사십팔영」과는 다른 박상 「사십팔영」의 특징이다.

[Purpose] This study aimed to develop a more effective exercise program for lower extremity muscle function by evaluating the effects of an 8-week lunge exercise performed on an unstable support surface on lower extremity muscle function, body composition, and body balance in middle-aged women. [Methods] Twenty participants were divided into two groups (control group: exercise on a stable support surface, n=10; experimental group: exercise on an unstable support surface, n=10). Each participant performed the exercise program for 8 weeks (three sessions a week, 50 min/session). [Results] The results revealed that body fat percentage decreased significantly in the experimental group (p<0.01). Additionally, lower-extremity muscle mass and function increased significantly in both groups (p<0.05), but with no significant difference between the groups. Moreover, the results of the static and dynamic balance tests indicated that balance improved in both groups, with significantly greater improvements in the experimental group than in the control group (p<0.05). [Conclusion] Lunge exercise on stable and unstable support surfaces improves muscle function and static balance in middle-aged women. In particular, lunge exercise on an unstable support surface was more effective at reducing body fat than lunge exercise on a stable support surface and was also found to improve dynamic balance. Therefore, a program consisting of lunge exercises on an unstable support surface may be suitable for body improvements in middle-aged women.

The purpose of this study is to examine on racial slavery and women characters in Toni Morrison’s A Mercy. In the late of seventeenth century, America is changing from the pre-racial period to the period of the racial slavery which the white separated from the other races. There are all kinds of races in this novel who consist of a couple of whites, a native American, an African American and a mixed woman. Through the storytelling of women characters, this thesis examines how they are firmed as the relationship of the master and the subject and how the last lives of them will be.
