Objects: This study was performed in order to observe the effects of water extract of Dendrobii herba on intracerebral hemorrhage (ICH), Method: ICH was induced by the stereotaxic intrastriatal injection of bacterial collagenase type IV in Sprague-Dawley rats. After the water extracts of Dendrobii herba were administrated orally once a day for 3 days, hematoma volume, percentage of brain edema, expression of iNOS and MPO were observed using immunohistochemistry. Results: Rats fed with water extracts of Dendrobii herba showed reduction of hematoma volume and percentage of brain edema compared with controls. In addition, Infiltration of myeloperoxidase (MPO) expressing neutrophil and expression of inducible nitric oxide synthatase (iNOS) were significantly reduced in rats fed with water extracts of Dendrobii herba. Conclusion: These results demonstrated that water extracts of Dendrobii herba reduced brain damage of intracerebral hemorrhage(ICH) and subsequent ICH-induced cerebral edema, and inhibited neutrophil infiltration.

The distribution of a test statistic under a null hypothesis depends on the unknown distribution of the data and thus is unknown as well. Conditional tests replace the unknown null distribution by the conditional null distribution, that is, the distribution of the test statistic given the observed data. This approach is known as permutation tests and was developed by Fisher (Fisher, 1935). Theoretical framework for permutation tests was given by Strasser and Weber(1999). The coin package developed by Hothon et al. (2006, 2008) implements a unified approach for conditional inference via the generic independence test. Because convenient functions for the most prominent problems are available, users will not have to use the extremely flexible procedure. In this article we briefly review the underlying theory from Strasser and Weber (1999) and explain how to transform the data to perform the generic function independence test. Finally it was illustrated with a few real data sets. 검정통계량의 영가설 분포는 모집단 분포에 의존하는데 모집단의 분포를 모를 때 영가설 분포를 검정통계량의 조건부 분포로 대체하여 검정하는 방법을 순열 검정이라고 한다. Strasser와 Weber (1999)는 순열 검정을 통합하는 이론을 마련하였고, Hothorn 등 (2006, 2008)은 그 이론을 R에 내장된 coin 패키지에 구현하였다. coin 패키지에서 조건부 독립성 검정은 총괄적인 형태의 함수인 independence test를 통해서 할 수 있지만 대표적인 독립성 검정은 사용자가 편리하도록 간편한 함수를 별도로 제공하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 Strasser와 Weber (1999)의 순열 검정 방법에 대해 소개하고, coin 패키지에 내장된 15개의 간편 함수에 대해 independence test 함수로 변환하는 절차를 설명하고자 한다. 또한, 정의한 independence test 함수를 써서 실제 자료의 점근 분포와 순열 검정, 정확 검정에 기초한 p-값을 서로 비교하고자 한다.

국내 PSC교량은 심각한 손상 및 붕괴가 발생하는 선진국과 같이 노후화에 진입하고 있어, 체계적인 점검 및 보수 등 유지관리 기준의 필요성이 높아지고 있다. PSC교량의 외부텐던은 서울시에서 학술연구 과제를 통해 관련기준이 수립되었으나, 내부텐던은 미흡한 실정이다. 본 연구는 PSCI형 교량인 청담1교에 내부텐던 부식이 발견됨에 따라, 국내 최초 공용중인 PSC거더교 내부텐던미(微)파괴조사를 실시하였다. 먼저‘PSC교량 오픈이노베이션(총25회)’을 통해 해외 우수기술에 대한 학습성과를 통해 신속한 미(微)파괴 조사를 수행하였다. 또한, 조사 중 발견된 손상 및 미충전 텐던에 대하여 텐던 손상규모 및 범위에 맞게 4가지 보수공법을 선정하여 시범보수를 시행하였다. 향후 보수효과에 대해 지속적인 모니터링을 통한 확인 및 유사 PSC교량 내부텐던 유지관리에 활용 예정이다.

A yellow soybean cultivar called ‘Hipro’ was developed using the single seed descent (SSD) method by crossing ‘Saedanbaek’(SS92414 ×MD87L) and ‘Daepung’ (Baekwon × Sinpaldal2). A preliminary yield trial (PYT), advanced yield trial (AYT), and regional yieldtrial (RYT) were conducted in three regions. ‘Hipro’ has a determinate growth habit, white flowers, and a spherical seed shape. In the regionalyield trial, the flowering and maturity dates of ‘Hipro’ were August 4 and October 17, respectively, and the 100-seed weight was 22.2 g,which was lower than that of Daewon (26 g). Additionally, ‘Hipro’ showed resistance to lodging, soybean mosaic virus (SMV), bacterialblight, and pod shattering. The seed protein content of ‘Hipro’, which was of particular interest in this study, was 53.9%, which was higherthan that of ‘Daepung’ (41.5%), and the total amino acid content without tryptophan was 43.6%, 19% higher than that of ‘Daepung’. Themean yield of ‘Hipro’ in RYT was 2.23 ton/ha, which was 91.3% of the yield of ‘Daewon’. However, ‘Hipro’ showed an 11% higher yieldthan Daewon in Paju. As a result of the tofu characteristic test, Hipro is suitable for making soy milk and tofu due to its high solid content(12.67 Brix) and protein content (13.68%) and high yield (325%) of tofu. Overall, ‘Hipro’ had high protein content, excellent processingquality for tofu and soy milk, and strong resistance to disease and pod shattering that will greatly contribute to the consumption of soybeansin Korea.
