This present research was conducted from May 1991 through April 1992 at 7 representative dams of the 5 large water systems of Korea in 84 samples, after study and identification of Synura(Synuraceae) plant genus by means of an electron microscope studied each taxa according to taxonomic significances and seasonal fluctuation. This study researched 6 species and 5 varieties for a total of 11 taxa. Among these S. curtispina was not recorded in South Korea and S. echinulata, S. spinosa f. longspina are not reported in Korea. According to seasonal appearances, S. petersenii f. petersenii which appeared 66.7% of the total samples (84) was the most common taxa, while s. spinosa f. spinosa appearing in 61.9% and S. glabra appearing in 31% were also common taxa, S. uvella, S. sphagnicola appeared throughout all seasons with a low frequency. Other taxa were found but with a pour distribution. When arranged in order of number of taxa appearances, the present condition of the areas studied is as follows: Hapch`o˘n Dam 9 taxa, Damyang-Dam 8 taxa, Ch`ungju-Dam 7 taxa, Taech`o˘ng-Dam and Ch`unch`o˘n-Dam 6 taxa each and Kaldam-Dam and Uiam-Dam 5 taxa respectively.
한국산 인편성황갈조 (鱗片性黃褐藻) 식물에 대한 연구 (Ⅳ) : Chrysodidymus 속의 분류학적 연구

The Crysodidymus genus and C. synuroides species was found from Jilnal swamp in Korea. The characteristic structure revealed under electron microscope closely agree with that of the type species. This species appeared in May and November at Jilnal Swamp, the water temperature is 2˚C and 18.4˚C and pH is 6.0 and 7.4.

In order to study Chrysosphaerella and Spinigeromonas(Paraphysomonadaceae) from Korea, Samples were collected at 7 dams during the period grom May, 1991 to April, 1992. As a result 11 species and 1 forma for a total of 12 taxa were identified. among these, Spiniferomonas alata, S. silverensis are recorded for the first time in Korda. According to frequncy of S. trioralis which appeared in 81% of the total samples(84) was the most common taxa, while S. bourellyi appearing in 61%, C. brevispina appearing in 31% and C. annulata appearing in 24% were also common taxa, S. takahashii f., S. bilacunosa and S. serrata appeared throughout all seasons but with a low frequency. Other taxa were found but with a poor distribution. When arranged in order of number of taxa appearances, the present condition of the study areas is as follows: Kaldam-Dam 11 taxa, Damyang-Dam 10 taxa, Taech`oˇng-Dam 9 taxa and Hapch`oˇn Dam, Ch`ungju-Dam, Ch`unch`oˇn-Dam and Uˇiam-Dam 8 taxa each respectively.

Hydration reaction of Free-CaO is thought to be the main reason of expansion failure of slag. A lot of research institutions are conducting studies on solutions to this problem, and moreover it has been carried out how to make use of aggregates for concrete. While studies covering wide rage of blast furnace slag have been accomplished in the country, studies on steelmaking slag are insufficient. Therefore, this study aimed at analyzing basic physical properties of electric arc furnace oxidizing slag, which is the main material, and furthermore it focused on how to make use of aggregates for concrete examining chemical mechanism, which can be put to practical use. To address this issue, components of electric arc furnace oxidizing slag were analyzed with measurement of physical properties, followed by long-term strength and detailed durability analysis, which can evaluate the appropriateness of application of cement concrete. Besides the environmental conservation and recycling which can be obtained by application of industry byproducts, commercializing of electric arc furnace oxidizing slag as fine aggregates for cement concrete are expected. 슬래그의 팽창성 붕괴는 주로 Free-CaO의 수화 반응이 주된 원인으로 분석되고 있으며, 이 문제의 해결 방안을 마련하기 위해 여러 기관에서 연구가 진행되고 있고, 더불어 콘크리트용 골재로의 활용 방안을 지속적으로 연구하고 있다. 현재, 국내에서는 고로 슬래그에 대한 연구는 많이 이루어지고 있지만, 전기로 및 전로 슬래그와 같은 제강 슬래그에 대한 연구는 극히 미비한 실정이다. 이에, 본 연구의 주재료인 전기로 산화 슬래그의 기초적인 물성 분석뿐만 아니라, 화학적인 메커니즘을 규명하여 콘크리트용 잔골재로서의 활용 가능성을 분석하고, 실생활에 응용하는데 그 목적이 있다고 하겠다. 그렇기 때문에, 본 연구의 진행 방향으로 전기로 산화 슬래그의 성분 분석과 함께 기본 물성을 측정하고, 이후에 중/장기 강도 및 세부적인 내구성 분석을 실시하여, 시멘트 콘크리트 적용의 적합성 평가 후, 규격을 제안하는 절차를 밟았다. 본 연구에 대한 기대 효과는 산업 부산물의 활용에 따른 환경 보전 및 재활용이라는 측면 이외에도, 전기로 산화 슬래그의 시멘트 콘크리트용 잔골재서의 상용화에 있다고 하겠다.

The silica-scaled Chrysophyta from Tianjin, Beijing, Harbin, Jilin, Mt. Paektu and Shenyang in the P. R. China have been studied by means of electron microscope. 28 taxa of five genera were found; 9 taxa of Mallomonas, 2 taxa of Synura, 1 taxa of Chrysosphaerella, 3 taxa of Spiniferomonas and 13 taxa of Paraphysomonas. 9 taxa of them are new to the P.R. China.
차나무 추출물을 이용한 골프장의 지렁이 샘플링과 종류 조사

Effective sampling method and distribution of earthworms in turfgrasses of golf courses were investigated at 10 Korean golf clubs. Tea tree extract was highly effective in extracting Eisenia andrei compared with mustard oil or formalin. 1000-fold diluent of tea tree extract (4 L/$m^2$) was more effective than 500- and 2000-fold. Sampling efficacy of earthworm increased as soil depth decreased. Additional watering after treatment of tea tree extract did not significantly influence the sampling of earthworms. Eight earthworm species in 4 genera were collected from turfgrasses of 10 golf courses with 4 L of 1000-fold diluent of tea tree extract (15% tea saponin)/$m^2$. Among, dominant earthworm was Amynthas heteropodus and collected 147 individuals from 6 golf clubs. Thirteen Drawida japonica was collected from 3 golf clubs and A. hilgendorfi and A. hupeiensis were collected from 2 golf clubs. A. hupeiensis was not collected with 1000-fold diluent of tea tree extract (15% tea saponin)/$m^2$. 골프장 잔디에서 효과적으로 지렁이를 추출하는 방법과 골프장의 잔디에 서식하는 지렁이의 종류를 알아보기 위하여 연구를 수행한 결과, 차나무추출물이 mustard oil이나 formalin에 비하여 붉은줄지렁이(Eisenia andrei)의 추출에 효과가 있었다. 그리고 차나무추출물 1000배 처리가 (4 L/m2)가 500배와 2000배 처리에 비하여 효과가 높았다. 토양 내 서식 깊이가 얕을수록 추출효과가 높았다. 그러나 차나무추출물 처리 후 추가적인 관수는 추출에 크게 영향을 미치지 않았다. 우리나라 10개 골프장에는 4속 8종의 지렁이가 분포하고 있었다. 그 중 변이성지렁이(Amynthas heteropodus)가 6개 골프장에서 147개체가 채집되어 우점종이었으며 염주위지렁이(Drawida japonica)가 3개 골프장에서 13개체가 채집되었고, 외무늬지렁이(A. hilgendorfi)와 똥지렁이(A. hupeiensis)가 2개 골프장에서 채집되었다. 차나무추출물로는 똥지렁이가 탈출되지 않았다.
