Recent NMR developments for pharmaceutical research

NMR spectrometer has been regarded as essential tool for structure elucidation in variable scientific field as like organic synthesis, natural product and macro protein research. Also NMR can be applied for defining dynamic behavior like ligand and receptor binding. One of advantage of research with NMR is that to be great confident to confirm structure and the measured sample could be recovered. Nevertheless NMR also has a weak points than other spectroscopic methods that require a lot of time for interpreting acquired spectrum and running time due to low sensitivity. For last two decade Bruker has developed hardware and software solution for overcome those weak points. In order to overcome low sensitivity Bruker introduced Cryo and Micro diameter probe head technology. And researcher can reduce the time for routine spectrum processing and interpretation works due to lots of introductions in software solutions for quantification, identification and statistics analysis. With four examples, this article describing those new hardware and software solutions in field of recent pharmaceutical research as follows. - New Horizons for NMR in the Biopharmaceutical Industry- The development and application of solid-state NMR spectroscopy (SSNMR) in pharmaceutical analysis- Assisted NMR Data Interpretation in Synthetic Chemistry- Complete Analysis of New Psychoactive Substances Using NMR
연속법에 의한 설계민감도를 이용한 판구조물의 조화진동저감

In this paper, design sensitivity of vibration displacement and acceleration is computed and design sensitivity, the derivative information of responses with respect to design perameters, is used as a design guidance tool to reduce the vibration. First, the harmonic vibration analysis of deck and simplified ship structures is performed by finite element method and secondly continuum disign sensityivity for excessive dynamic response is computed by continuum method. Both the direct and modal frequency response methods for the finite element analysis are adopted. Sensitivities of structural components such as upper plate, side wall, bilge, bottom plate are compared and the reductionof vibration is obtained by the proper increase of thickness of each component.

With the advancement of object detection models, it is possible to efficiently infer synthetic aperture radar (SAR) and electro-optical (EO) satellite images. However, conventional object detection models using horizontal bounding boxes (HBB) struggle to detect small and densely grouped objects in satellite images. To address this issue, this paper proposes E^2RDet. This algorithm effectively modifies the structure of the Yolov7 object detection model, enabling it to accurately detect objects represented by oriented bounding boxes (OBB) in SAR images. This algorithm improves the object detection model architecture and loss function to facilitate learning of an object's dynamic (orientation) posture. Using various training datasets, E^2RDet demonstrates performance improvements across three benchmark SAR datasets. This indicates that existing HBB object detection models can train and perform object detection on objects represented by OBBs.
수송체 구조물 진동제어를 위한 설계 민감도 해석, 최적설계및 GUI개발

본 연구에서는 조화기진력이 작용하는 구조물에서 보조변수법을 사용하여 치수설계 민감도가 계산되었다. 제한함수는 구조물의 진동웅력이고 설계변수는 막구조의 두께, 보구조의 굽힘관성모멘트, 봉구조의 웅력이며 신뢰성있는 민감도값이 계산되였다. 민감도값의 크기와 방향이 plot되어 웅력에 민감한 부분이 인지되고 정확도는 유한차분치와 비교되었으며, 또한 계산된 민감도가 사용되어 three-bar 구조물의 제한조건이 만족되고 중량이 최소화되는 최적설계가 수행되었다. 수송체 웅력저감, 경량화 설계를 도와주는 GUI가 개발되어, 간단한 설계 데이타변경으로 웅력, 중량 변화량을 바로 인식할수가 있다.<br/> Sizing design sensitivity analysis of structures subjected to the harmonic vibration is performed using adjoint variable method. Constraint is the stress and sizing design variables are thickness, bending moment of inertia and cross-sectional area of structures. Accurate sensitivities are computed and plotted sensitivity can be used as a design guidance tool. The accuracy of sensitivites is verified by the finite difference values. Also, optimal design of three-bar structure is performed using the computed sensitivity and feasible direction method while satisfying constraints and obtaining the minimum weight.<br/>
