There has been no scholarly approach to Lee Jang-back Jun (A Story of Lee Jang-back 李長白傳) a story written in Chinese character, which is collected by the Library of Denri University(天理大學) in Japan. The plot of this work is briefly as follows: In the late seventeerth century,a Korean, Lee Jang-back(李長白) made a journey to China and dropped in a harlot (kisaeng) house. He came to know the miserable circumstances of a prostitute and felt sorry for her. Out of pity and chivalrous spirit, he helped her with a large sum of money with no reward. After years, she was raised up as the queen of a Chinese emperor and she could never forget Lee Jang-back's favor. In brief, this story ends with an episode in which, in recompense for his thankful help for the wretched state of her early years,she devotedly tried to assist korean affairs (the Yi dynasty's affairs) , let alone Lee Jang-back's personal affairs. However, this work does not seem to belong to the genre of the fictitious. This story is based upon a true story of the century in which Hong Soon-un(洪純彦) visited China as an official interpreter and he kept on doing good deeds there similar to Lee Jang-back's in this work. Out of these materials, the writer produced succsessfully a marvellous story with real fictitious plot and characters, blending it with a variety of historical events between the two countries. The themes of the story are humanistic virtue and righteousness derived from the teaching of Confucius. In andition, this work is a sort of edifying story in which a Korean who had visited China did something good to a Chinese lady and also the lady showed her gratitude the man with various rewards, and the personal good deeds of the two increased friendly relations between their countries.

비디오 신호처리용 고속 CMOS 디지탈-아날로그 변환기의 설계

In this paper, a method for designing CMOS DAC for video signal processing is described. The objective of the design is 8-bit resolution, and conversion speed more than 65 MHz. For the fast conversion, a new current cell is suggested. This cell improves glitch and output impedance. Employing the current cells in a 2-dimensional matrix structure, the DAC is constructed. SPICE simulations show faster settling time and reduced delay, adequate for 65MHz conversion.

초기 선박 설계를 위한 퍼지 추론 시스템

본 연구에서는 초기 선박 작업 - 선형 요소 및 성능 계수 추정, 선수미 형상의 주요치수 결정, 초기 선형 생성 - 에서 보다 유용하고 편리한 설계 정보를 설계자에게 제공하기 위한 선박 설계용 퍼지 추론 시스템(FMGA system)을 개발하였다. 초기 선박 설계에서 주로 전문가의 경험 지식에만 의존하는 설계 작업에 신속하고 효율적인 설계 도구가 될 수 있도록 선박 설계용 퍼지 추론 시스템을 구현하였다. This paper presents on fuzzy system based fuzzy rules & fuzzy inference for ship design(FMGA:Fuzzy Modeling System using Genetic Algorithm). FMGA system helps Designer to supply the useful design information in initial ship design stage - the inference of hull form factors and performance coefficients, the determination of stern & bow profile dimensions, the generation of initial hull form. FMGA system will be a efficient design tool in initial ship design.

Hong Jang Gun Jeon-the story of General Hong-is a fictional biography whose hero is Hong Yoon Seong(1425-1474), had lived in Yi Dynasty. This story, also, has come down as Hong Yoon Seong Jeon-the story of Hong Yoon Seong. As a civil minister who has passed the civel service examination under the government of Yi Dynasty(Gwa-Geo), Hong Yoon-Seong had a position of Young Eui Jeong-a prime minister of today, but he had performed a meritorious deed during the process of taking the reins of government for Se Jo-the seventh king of Yi Dynasty. Especially unlike a general civil minister, he was as strong as a horse and bold, and also ho was distinguished as a man in faith and courage. Hong Jang Gun Jeon is a quite different novel from his historical career of Houg Yoon-Seong. The writer made the most part of it as a fiction and heplaced the focus on the point that the hero was strong, and then described him as Mu Song(武松) of the Su Ho Jeon(水滸傳), the Chinese novel. In describing the characters of his novel, the writer described them after the characters of Su Ho Jeon, so that we can see many characteres are similar with the characters of Su Ho Jeon. For example, Mu Dae(武大), the brother of Mu Song and Ban Kum Ryum(潘金蓮), a misbehaved his sister-in-low, Seo Mun Kyoung(西門慶), who is adu-lterer of Ban Kum Ryun and Wang Pa(王婆), the panderess of Su HO Jeon are all just same as HOng Dae-Seong, Seolsi, Tae Man-Seak and Yoon Pa of HOng Jang Gun Jeon in turn. But these two novels make differences in its plot. In Su Ho Jeon, the story begins from an incident that Mu Song beat a tiger to death with his empty hand, but Hong Yoon-Seong caught a tiger and save a kisaeng, Moran, who will be become his wife afterward at later part of the novel. And in Hong Gun Jeon, the family connection and consanguinity are regarded as of great importance than the ties af friendship, but many a fortuity and exaggeration is in it. The hero has respect for human life, and dosen't distinguish between their social positions of people. In these point, we can see that Hong Jang Gun Jeon is a novel-which reflect the spirit of the end of the nineteenth century of Korea to the old novelistic tradition. And some folk tales were fictionized, they were differed from the historical fact and also, we can see that some part of it was too exaggerated and beautified.

As the society gets into the high technology, lifestyle and culture of consumer changes fast and it is getting more fast nowadays. And It is becoming more important for the marketers and designers to understand its trends and analysize market and the consumer needs correctlly. In 1990s, the yearly income of consumers has increased, and the female became one of the most powerful consumer groups in the society. But the emerging power of new generations which are called generation X or Xers is the most characteristic image of 1990s. Xers are from late teens to the carly tweenties and they have their specific and pecular consumer behavior. They are usually compared to the Baby Boomers generation, the former generation of Xers and the great bubble of affluent individuals born between 1946 to 1964. Boomers are ideological, but the Xers are materialistic and individualistic. As the Xers came of age in a world, the "We Products' which Boomer preferred has changed into the 'Me Products' which show the individualistic behavior of Xers consumer. The value of design and the style of products became more important purchasing factor to the Xers than the Boomers. The Beauty Industry, which are Cosmetics, Diet, and Fitness nowadays got into the market and growing fast to satisfy the Xers' needs for beauty. From 1988 the Western style Fast Food became popular to the Xers and the teenagers Obsity became a social issue. In 1994, Diet Industry growed 40% in a year, and lots of Company got into the Diet Market and competed each others by creating vanity Images of beauties. Without the analysis of Xers and the biological importance of Diet, it only sells nothing but fake images. The Xers don't trust Diet Programs anymore, and their lack of imformation about good Diet Program makes their health in danger. Xers are obsessed for having beautiful shape, and the excessive diet damaged their health. It is the advertiser and designer who can help them have good way of keeping their shape by giving them a helpful tips for their diet instead of selling them vanity images of beauty. The purpose of this thesis is to show the importance of communication between designers and the consumers, who are Xers and are a dominant market leader by analysis of Xers' behavior and suggesting the proper way of communication. The process of this thesis works first by the analysis of Xers' survey which was done by 100 female Xers and prove its value by suggesting design solution for the Diet package.

패키지디자인에 나타난 Retro 스타일에 관한 연구

Modern society is ever changing. The economic and cultural hierarchy of society is getting more complicated and inscrutable. Modern society is chatic and diverse and as the mass media getting progressed, the boundaries of ethnics and nations in the glabal world have begun to collapsed. One of the most characteristic of our modern society is the emergence of transnational corporations and they arecompeting each other to take more market chares and possess better position in the global market. Under the ever changing cultural atmosphere, the designers have to try various ways of communications to satisfy needs of consumers and corporations. The Retro Design, which is borrowing graphic styles from the past is becoming an effective ways of communications for graphic designers. As the computer technology makes graphic designers easy to duplicate images and create layered typography and as the Postmodernism which pursues eclectic visual communication becomes a major characteristic of last half of Twenty century, the Retro Design appeals to the consumers as a powerful marketing tool. The art and design history has been developed while the people have been reappreciated value of retrospective arts. The designer who has better knowlege about history can create better works. Contemporary designers often engage historical styles for their own objectives without fully understanding a style's original context or purpose. Without any recognition or background history in certain graphic style, or just borrowing historical styles, it is disregardness of past and proofs of lackness for creativeness. In this thesis, first I will analyze the background characteristic of Postmodernism which gave major influence to Retro Design style, and suggest effective Retro Design strategies for the future.

林慶業의 人物·遺跡·傳說의 調査硏究

Lim Kyung-Up(1594-1646) was a general who defended the northern frontier of Korea before and after the period of Byungjahoran (1636) when Korea was involved in many international political difficulties. He was a national hero, a man of accomplished character personally as well as a loyal defender of his national prestige against international challenges. His spirit of loyalty and his meritorious services have left a deepest moral impact upon the succeeding generations as an instructive model of historical significance. His relics are to be found in many historical places, such as; Chungyolsa of Chungju,Nagan of Seungju-Gun, Chon-Nam,Mt. Sokri, Wonju of Kangwon-Do, Paikma Mountain Fortress and Sunchun of Pyungbuk, and Yunpyung Island of West Sea. Also handed down are many legends about this historical personage. It is recommeded that more nationwide campaigns be made extensively to preserve his historical relics and more studies be done about his life. Writers also should devote more efforts to introduce a better and fuller biographical work than the conventional Lim Kyung-Up Jon in order to give light on this historical giant.

탁구 경기 기록 분석에 관한 연구

The purpose of this study is to develope the analyzing tool of the table tennis game. On the Women's Doubles of Korea(hereafter KOR) and Democratic People's Republic of Korea (hereafter PRK), this study is to analyze the courses and techniques, examine the relevance with the result of the game by understanding related situations of the getting and losing score balls, and verified a efficiency of the analyzing tool of table tennis games. To accomplish the purpose of this study, four players, two KOR and two PRK players for doubles, were selected as subjects of this study who took part in the Volkswagen Singapore Open Championship(in Singapore 2004.5.27~30) opened by International Table Tennis Federation(ITTF). The research and application devices for this study are the sheet of the game recording analysis, VCR, Camcorder and TV. The surface of the table tennis table was divided into twelve sections and numbered them from one to twelve for developing the analyzing tool of the table tennis games. The sheet of the game recording analysis was made through the researching the documents and technical expert meeting. It also verified reliability and validity of the sheet with making a preliminary examination. The technique of frequency analysis was applied for data analysis used in this study. Through these research methods and procedures, the following results were came out. First, PRK players used the Pimple Rubber or Feint Rubber for the receive(the second ball). PRK players had the high rate of NO.10 course utilization with using forehand-cut by Kim, Hyang-mi(PRK) and forehand-flick by Kim, Hyun-hee. They also had the high score rate after the third ball. In case of KOR players, there was high rate of NO.5 course utilization in the second ball. For the third ball, they used forehand-drive a lot, but after the third ball, there were the high losing score rate and mistakes in short. Second, PRK players had high losing score rate when they hit the ball of Seok, Eun-mi(KOR), especially in push, In case of KOR players, there was no remarkable difference, however when Lee, Eun-sil(KOR) hit the Kim, Hyang-mi(PRK)'s ball, Lee had the high rate of score in forehand-flick and forehand-drive and all two KOR players had the high losing score rate in short. As stated above, this study provides useful information about one's own self or the opponent's team or player. This study was the first to develope the anaylzing device of table tennis game in the study of sport science and its reliability, validity and efficiency were verified.

남·여 탁구선수의 스포츠 자신감 형성요인 차이연구

The purpose of this study is to examine the differences of sport confidence formation factors according to sex, academic background and the reason why one started to table tennis. The subject players for this study consist of 150 high school student players(75 male, 75 female), 86 college student players (42 male, 44 female) and professional players(33 male, 31 female) total 300 players. T-test, one-way ANOVA and Scheffe's multiple range test are employed to examine the differences of sport confidence formation factors of table tennis players and the results are as follows. First, the sport confidence formation factors according to sex have meaningful differences on the factors of task proficiency, ability demonstration and indirect experience. Second, the sport confidence formation factors according to academic background have meaningful differences on the factors of task proficiency, ability demonstration, physical/mental preparation, social support and coach's leadership. Third, the sport confidence formation factors according to the reason why one started to table tennis have meaningful difference on the coach's leadership factor only.

고무 밴드 자극과 범실횟수 기억이 탁구선수의 범실 줄이기에 미치는 효과

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of rubber band stimulation on the wrist and memorization of frequency of errors on reducing errors. The subjects were three table tennis players in a University. An alternating treatments design, one of single subject design was employed in order to examine the effect of two treatments. The following conclusion was drawn based on the results and discussion; the rubber band stimulation on the wrist and memorization of frequency of errors during training had a little influence partially on reducing players' errors. But taken as a whole, it can be said to have no effects in reducing errors. When applying error-reduction program to players, levels of technique, skill, mental maturity, and preference should be considered.
