국내 대학에서의 교육이 사회의 요구를 적절하게 반영하고 있지 못하다는 평가를 극복하기 위하여 지식경제부에서는 이음 사이트를 중심으로 산업체 전문가가 멘토로 참여하여 국내 4년제 대학교의 재학생들의 팀 프로젝트 수행을 지도하는 IT멘 토링 제도를 2004년부터 시행하고 있다. 최근에는 이 제도에 참여하는 멘토, 학생 및 교수의 숫자는 지속적으로 증가하고 있지 만, NEXT 사업이 점진적으로 종료됨에 따라 IT멘토링에 참여하기 위한 재원 확보 등 여러 가지 보완해야 할 사항들이 제시되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 IT멘토링에 참여한 멘토, 멘티, 교수 등을 대상으로 다양한 의견을 조사하여 본 사업의 성과와 개선 요구사항을 분석하고 그 결과를 토대로 IT멘토링 제도를 발전시킬 수 있는 방안을 제시함으로써 산학협력 교육 프로그램의 실질적인 효과를 얻음은 물론 국내 대학의 경쟁력을 제고하고자 한다. Engineering education in Korean universities have been commented to be at a certain distance from industrial needs. Since 2004, the Ministry of Knowledge Economy of Korean government has operated IT Mentoring program in which the mentors from industry provide participating university students with guidance during their execution of projects to promote industry-academy cooperative education while making use of the Hanium site. Recently, there have been outstanding and rapid growth of not only the recognition on the importance but also the practical cases of cooperative education. However, as the NEXT program becomes gradually terminated, many suggestions for sustaining and improving co-education programs. This paper proposes various ways to further develop IT Mentoring program on the basis of the research results collected from the survey.
표면 플라즈몬 현미경을 이용한 자기조립 단분자막의 이미징

이차원 표면 플라즈몬의 공명 흡수와 포토 마스크를 이용하여 11-MUA(11-Mercaptoundecanoic acid)와 11-MUOH(11-Mercaptoundecanol) 둥으로 이루어진 자기조립 단분자막(Self-Assembled Monolayer; SAM)의 다채널 영상을 얻었다. 통상의 Photoresist를 이용한 리토그래피 대신에 Thiol bonding의 광산화를 이용하여 패터닝 과정을 줄이고, 백색광 및 대역통과 필터(λ$_{0}$=633nm)를 이용하여 입사광으로써 레이저를 사용할 때 나타나는 간섭무늬를 줄였다. 이로부터 나타나는 이차원 영상의 명암을 정량적으로 보정하면 수 나노미터(nm) 두께의 변화를 측정할 수 있다. 또한 표면 플라즈몬 공명법은 국소화된 근접장 (소산장)을 이용하는 방법으로서, 통상 많이 이용되는 형광법 등에서 나타나는 광탈색(Photobleaching)이나 소광(Quenching) 현상이 없이 시료의 처리가 간단하고, 영상 신호의 시간에 따른 변화가 극히 적으며, 실시간으로 신호의 변화를 측정할 수 있다는 장점이 있다. Multi-channel images of 11-MUA(11-Mercaptoundecanoic acid) and 11-MUOH(11-Mercaptoundecanol) self-assembled monolayers were obtained by using two-dimensional surface plasmon resonance (SPR) absorption. The patterning process was simplified by exploiting direct photo-oxidation of thiol bonding (photolysis) instead of conventional photolithography. Sharper images were resolved by using a white light source in combination with a narrow bandpass filter in the visible region, minimizing the diffraction patterns on the images. The line profile calibration of the image contrast caused by different resonance conditions at each point on the sensor surface (at a fixed incident angle) enables us to discriminate the monolayer thickness in nanometer scale. Furthermore, there is no signal degradation such as photo bleaching or quenching, which are common in the detection methods based on fluorescence.
Genomic Differentiation of Far Eastern Nelumbo nucifera Based on DNA Markers

Nelumbo nucifera has been used for many purposes from the prehistoric times Today, N nucifera is considered by many botanists as having great potential as a genetic resource This research used molecular markers to identify geographical genomic differentiation of .V nucifera based on the randomly amplified polymorphic DNA(RAPD) method Data matrix was made from 13 primers x 62 genetic characters The profile of amplification products was almost shown to have polymorphic band patterns Numbers of genetic characters represented as autopomorphy and synapomorphy were 3 and 6 each These numbers occupy 14.5% among the total genetic characters These results showed that the genome of N nucifera had high genetic diversity The genome of N nucifera was divided into two subgenomic groups Subgenomic group I was differentiated from an early stage and had great genomic diversity Subgenomic group Ⅱ was differentiated into 3-4 small groups Geographical genomic differentiation of N nucifera is differentiated in three directions from southeastem region(cluster I region) to northwestern region of the Korean peninsula(cluster Ⅱ region)
Variation Analysis of Callicarpa japonical Complex in Eastern Asia

Many taxonomists consider Callicarpa japonica complex distributed in eastern Asia to be a polymorphic species. Because leaf characters of C japonica complex show a wide range of variation, morphological classification is very difficult. To identify variation patterns of the C japonica complex, twenty-three diagnostic characters were examined from 599 specimens and subjected to principal component analysis(PCA). As a result of leaf variation, inflorescence variation and geographical distribution, C japonica complex was divided into six populations composed of var. japonica, var. luxurians, var. taquetii, var. angustata, var. japonica for. leucocarpa and var. luxurians for. leucocarpa. Populations of C. japonica complex distributed in eastern Asia are intensely differentiating in leaf and inflorescence characters.
