          영남내륙지역 벼 직파적응 품종의 재배시기별 생육반응

          영남내륙지역에서 직파재배용 벼 품종인 동안벼, 대산벼, 농호벼, 호안벼, 광안벼를 공시하여 적정 파종기를 구명하기 위해 시험한 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 1 출아소요기간은 5월 30일 파종기에서 12일로 가장 짧았으며, 입모수는 5월 10일과 5월 30일에서 많았다. 2. 4월 30일과 5월 10일 파종에서 수수가 많아 10a당 쌀수량이 485-494 kg으로 다른 시기 보다 증수되었으며, 품종별로는 5월 10일 파종의 동안벼가 513 kg으로 가장 많았다. 3. 완전미비율은 5월 10일 파종이 90.4%로 가장 높았고, 5월 30일 파종은 83.1%로 가장 낮았다. 4. 품종별 완전미비율은 5월 10일 파종한 대산벼에서 92.1%로 가장 높았으며, 4월 20일과 5월 30일 파종한 광안벼에서 각각 동할미 및 청미의 비율이 높아 완전미비율은 78.8%로 낮았다. 5. 회귀식에 의한 적정파종기는 호안벼는 5월 10일, 동안벼는 5월 3일, 농호벼는 5월 8일, 광안벼는 5월 1일, 대산벼는 5월2일이었다. The object of this study was to determine the optimum seeding dates of "Donganbyeo", "Daesanbyeo", Hoanbyeo", "Nonghobyeo", and "Gwnganbyeo" for direct seeding on dry paddy in Youngnam region. Dry seeds of these varieties were sown 5 times with 10-day intervals from April 20 to May 30. It took 13 to 14 days from sowing to emergence. It was shortened in the delayed seeding date, but the emerged seedlings per unit area was decreased as the seeding date was advanced before May. Heading date was delayed as seeding was delayed. Culm length, panicle length and number of spikelets per panicle was not affected by seeding date, but number of panicle per m2 and ripened grain ratio were high from April 30 to May 10 seeding date. Consequently, the optimum seeding date for high yield of "Donganbyeo", "Daesanbyeo", "Hoanbyeo", "Nonghobyeo", and "Gwanganbyeo" was estimated May 3, May 2, May 10, May 8, and May 1, respectively and "Gwanganbyeo" was estimated May 3, May 2, May 10, May 8, and May 1, respectivelyspectively

          남부지방 탑라이스 재배지역에 알맞은 벼 품종 선발

          2006년도 고품질 쌀로 선정된 고품벼, 운광벼, 삼광벼를 기존의 일품벼와 대비하여 의성과 경주의 탑라이스 재배지역에서 2년간 적응시험을 하여 각 품종들의 품질과 미질 특성을 조사한 결과는 다음과 같다. 1. 10a당 수량은 의성, 경주 모두 일품벼가 586 kg, 560 kg으로 가장 많은 수량을 보였으나, 완전미 수량은 삼광벼가 의성과 경주에서 각각 519 kg, 495 kg으로 일품벼보다 더 높은 수량을 보였다. 2. 쌀의 외형상 품위에서 완전립 비율은 삼광벼, 고품벼가 90.7%, 82.5%로 일품벼의 77.5%보다 높았다. 3. 단백질 함량은 삼광벼가 6.2%로 가장 낮았으며, 식미치에서는 삼광벼가 85.9%로 가장 높았다. 4. 쌀가루의 점도 특성에서 최고 점도는 의성의 운광벼가 3180으로 가장 높았으며, 경주의 일품벼가 2255로 가장 낮았다. 5. 밥의 물리적 특성에서 경도는 삼광벼가 평균 3174로 가장 낮았으나, 부착성이 -132로 높게 나왔다. The average yield of head rice was higher in Samguangbyeo than the other three cultivars. The protein content was inversely associated with palatability (Toyo value). The protein content of Samguangbyeo was 6.2%, which was the lowest among the tested cultivars. L values in color of rice and cooked rice were not significantly different. The hardness of Samguangbyeo was lower than that of the other cultivars in texture properties of boiled rice on 4 cultivars. In conclusion,considering the rice yield and grain qualities, Samguangbyeo was selected as promising rice cultivar for Top Rice cultivation region.

The protein content of Samguangbyeo was 6.2%, which was the lowest among the tested cultivars. L values in color of rice and cooked rice were not significantly different. The hardness of Samguangbyeo was lower than that of the other cultivars in texture properties of boiled rice on 4 cultivars.           석회보르도액 처리농도 및 시기가 4, 5년생 인삼의 생육과 병발생에 미치는 영향

          Lime-bordeaux mixture (LBM) has been used instead of pesticides in ginseng field and orchard since the 1960's in Korea. In this experiment, LBM was made with different concentrations and sprayed in the field of ginseng for eco-friendly cultivation. Growth characteristics and disease such as alternaria blight, anthracnose, and gray mold were investigated in 4-5 year old ginseng after spraying LBM. LBM caused a little damage on leaf when it was sprayed at the time of leafing stage, late April and early May. Root weights of five-year-old ginseng were 43.1~51.5 g and 41.2~46.6 g in the plot of mid-April and mid-May treatments, respectively. These growth levels were further reduced as compared with that of the chemicals treatment plot. The rate of diseases in the plot of 6-6 and 8-8 ratio were 0.0~4.8% and 0.0~4.4%, respectively, which was similar with that in the plot of chemical control for alternaria blight and anthracnose. However, LBM had little effect on controling gray mold. It showed lower control effect in the plot of 4-4 ratio than that of chemical control. This result will be expected to be a useful guide that can be used in the field to the farmers of the ginseng.

          벼 만식재배시 묘령이 수량 및 품질에 미치는 영향

          This study was conducted to compare the yield and grain quality as affected by rice seedling age in late transplanted rice. The rice yield was remarkably reduced in 10 day-old seedlings but those of older seedlings over than 30-day were not different. In the rice quality, as the rice seedling age younger the rate of greened and damaged rice increased, suggesting decreasing of the head rice rate. Among the physicochemical characteristics, protein content of rice grain was increased in 10 day-old seedling but amylose content was not different, consequently, the palatability was improved in older seedlings over than 30-day. From these results, it is more beneficial to machine transplant the older seedlings over than 30-day for delayed transplanting.           고품질 쌀 생산을 위한 경북 주요 브랜드 쌀의 품질 분석

          This study was carried out to observe the quality of commercial brand rices collected from Gyeongbuk Province, Korea in 2006-2007. Rice quality was analyzed as a mixed ratio with other varieties by DNA analysis, physicochemical and appearance characteristics among 26 commercial brand rices. In protein contents of rice grain, 12 brand rices were lower than 6.5%, 6 brand rices were ranged 6.6-7.0%, and others were higher than 7%. In head rice rates, 2 brand rices were higher than 95%, 4 brand rices were ranged 90-94%, and other brand rices were lower than 90%. In distribution of the mixed ratio with other varieties, 12 commercial brand rices were ranged 1- 10%, 9 commercial brand rices were ranged 11-20%, and 5 brand rices were lower than 20% of mixed ratio.           일품벼 도정 및 쌀 품질 향상을 위한 분시비율 개선연구

          This study was carried out to improve the rice grain quality of Ilpum cultivar, especially to reduce the chalky rice rate by controlling top dressing of nitrogen application ratio at the tillering and panicle initiation stage. In the rice plant growth, the number of tiller and leaf area index of maximum tillering stage were influenced by basal dressing and top dressing at tillering stage; however those of heading stage were mainly influenced by top dressing at panicle initiation stage. In yield and yield components, they were influence by the top dressing at panicle initiation stage and the rice yield was increased by percentage of the top dressing. The protein content of rice grain was increased as the rate of top dressing at panicle initiation stage was increased. The rate of chalky and damaged rice was remarkably increased as the top dressing ratio was increased, resulting in reducing the rate of head rice rate. As the results, the characteristics of milling and rice quality was improved when the amount of top dress was reduced as 50% at the panicle initiation stage, and the yield of head rice also increased.
