GPGPU의 멀티 쓰레드를 활용한 고성능 병렬 LU 분해 프로그램의 구현

GPGPU는 원래 그래픽 계산을 위한 프로세서인 GPU를 일반 계산에 활용하여 저전력으로 고성능의 효율을 보이는 신개념의 계산 장치이다. 본 논문에서는 GPGPU에서 계산을 하기 위한 병렬 LU 분해법의 알고리즘을 제안하였다. Nvidia GPGPU에서 프로그램을 실행하기 위한 CUDA 계산 환경에서는 계산하고자 하는 데이터 도메인을 블록으로 나누고 각 블록을 쓰레드들이 동시에 계산을 하는데, 이 때 블록들의 계산 순서는 무작위로 진행이 되기 때문에 블록간의 데이터 의존성을 가지는 LU 분해프로그램에서는 결과가 정확하지 않게 된다. 본 논문에서는 병렬 LU 분해법에서 블록간의 계산 순서를 인위적으로 정하는 구현 방식을 제안하며 아울러 LU 분해법의 부분 피벗팅을 계산하기 위한 병렬 reduction 알고리즘도 제안한다. 또한 구현된 병렬프로그램의 성능 분석을 통하여 GPGPU의 멀티 쓰레드 기반으로 고성능으로 계산할 수 있는 병렬프로그램의 효율성을 보인다. GPUs were originally designed for graphic processing, and GPGPUs are general-purpose GPUs for numerical computation with high performance and low electric power.In this paper, we implemented the parallel LU factorization program for GPGPUs. In CUDA, which is computational environment for Nvidia GPGPUs, domains are divided into blocks, and multi-threads compute each sub-blocks simultaneously. In LU factorization program, computation order should be artificially decided due to the data dependence. To resolve the data dependancy, we suggested a parallel LU program for GPGPUs, and also explained parallel reduction algorithm for partial pivoting of LU factorization. We finally present performance analysis to show efficiency of the parallel LU factorization program based on multi-threads on GPGPUs.

This study aims to explore the intrinsic factors of heung (a feeling of lively animation or enthusiasm) which Korean dance gives based on the opinion of the Korean dance experts. A survey on the experience and factors of heung was conducted on the seven Korean dance experts (three males and four females) with more than 25 years of career, using an open-ended questionnaire. From the analysis on the collected raw data, it was found that heung consists of 10 areas as follows: naturalness, assimilation, inspiration, delight, comfort, sense of accomplishment, consentience with audience, consentience with musical performance, impromptu amusement, transcendency and sublimation. The general area was classified into four sub-areas such as fortuity, genuineness, integrity, uniqueness and, in structural meaning, classified into three factors such as internal factor, external factor and behavioral factor. The results of this study on heung will provide helpful information for dancers to extensively understand the concept of heung which is an essence of Korean dance associated with Korean psychological characters.

This research was purposed to develop and validate the Korean Dance Heung Scale (KDHS) by using objective and scientific methods. Based upon the preceding research done by Shin, B. H. and Jung, J. H. (2011) and reviews of the relevant literature, KDHS was developed by a close examination of the concept of Heung, generated in the course of dance practices and dance performances among Korean traditional dance majors. First, the initial survey questionnaire of KDHS was composed of 8 factors and 45 items. Data of 150 Korean dancers were analyzed by using technical analysis, item analysis, reliability analysis, and exploratory factor analysis for the purpose of survey item development. Next, confinnative factor analysis was performed on data of 350 Korean dancers, and consequently, 3 dimensions (internal, behavioral, and external), 6 factors (improvisation, naturalness, vitality, sublimation, inspiration, and shared feelings), and Z7 items were finally derived. Second, data of 696 Korean dancers were analyzed in order to attest the validity of the finally derived survey items. The homogeneity of the finalized version of KDHS was validated and the latent mean analysis was performed. To sum up, this research successfully identified the practical and objective concept structure of Heung in Korean dance and developed the Korean Dance Heung Scale. The validity of KDHS was verified and correspondingly, the usage of Dance Heung Scale. The validity of KDHS was verified and correspondingly, the usage of KDHS was verified to be suitable for dancers of various performing levels including highschool students, college students, and professional dancers. This research is expected to become a foundation for future empirical studies on Heung.

컴퓨터응용 분야중에서 입시처리는 제한된 시간내에 많은 인원을 정확히 처리하기 위해서는 처리관리, 계획수립, 설계 등 많은 복합요소를 예상하여 대비하여한다. 전문대학 입시처리에서 본 고사를 컴퓨터처리하기위하여 OMR을 사용하여 처리하였을 뿐아니라 개인신상 입력 또한 OMR처리로 입학사정에 효율적인 관리로 4일동안 5,000명처리를 완료하였다.
