자동차 시트제조기업의 재무분석을 통한 글로벌 경쟁력 제고 방안1

본 연구는 세계 주요 자동차 시트제조기업의 최근 3년 간 재무성과를 비교·분석해봄으로써, 국내 자동차 시트제조기업의 글로벌 경쟁력 강화를 위한 경영개선방안을 모색해 보고자 하였다. 이를 위해, 국내기업 2곳(현대다이모스, 다스)과 자동차산업 선진국인 미국기업 2곳(JCI, LEAR) 및 일본기업 2곳(TOYOTA-BOSHOKU, TS-TECH)을 선정한 후, 총자산순이익률 (ROA), 자기자본순이익률(ROE), 내부성장률(IGR), 지속가능성장률(SGR), 경제적부가가치 (EVA), 시장부가가치(MVA) 등의 평가방법을 활용하여 실증분석하였다. 총자산순이익률과 자기자본순이익률 분석을 통해 현대다이모스의 효과적인 판매관리정책과 다스의 효율적인 자산운용정책을 확인할 수 있었고, 내부성장률과 지속가능성장률 분석을 통해서는 유보비율이 상대적으로 높은 국내기업의 내부성장률과 지속가능성장률이 대체로 높게 나타남을 확인할 수 있었다. 그리고 경제적부가가치와 시장부가가치 분석을 통해서는 투하자본 대비 당기순이익이 낮고 자본비용이 높은 현대다이모스에서 음(-)의 부가가치를 창출하고 있는 반면, 높은 자본비용에도 불구하고 다스에서는 효율적인 기업경영으로 양(+)의 부가가치 를 창출하고 있음을 확인할 수 있었다. The objective of this paper to provide the way of improving competitiveness by comparing Korea automotive seat manufactures with global automotive manufactures. For this purpose, 2 Korea automotive seat manufactures(DYMOS, DAS), 2 United States automotive seat manufactures(JCI, LEAR), and 2 United States automotive seat manufactures(TOYOTABOSHOKU, TS-TECH) respectively were selected and analyzed ROA(return on asset), ROE(return on equity), IGR(internal growth rate), SGR(sustainable growth rate), EVA(economic value added), and MVA(market value added). According the empirical test results, Korea automotive seat manufactures showed very good financial performance, compared to global ones. Strong point was high potential growth rate, resulted from high internal intention ratio, while weak points were low net sales and high cost of debt capital. In order to overcome these weaknesses, there is a need for realizing of economy of scale and scope through business diversification and globalization, as well as expanding of the financial instruments and resources though international capital market integration.

A sufficient experiment time for the verification of the durability of the automatic transmission that is applied to the current vehicle with the satisfaction of the durability is required in order to apply it to the new vehicle that is different from the current one in engine, gross vehicle weight, final gear ratio and dynamic radius of the tire. In this thesis, it is developed an evaluation program of critical durability for the automatic transmission's driveline in order to reduce the experiment time and improve the efficiency of the test operation. Using the developed program, the critical durability could be predicted where the vehicle specification is modified. And it could be obtained that the variation of the engine torque is the most severe effect on the durability
노면 경사부하를 고려한 승용차용 토크컨버터 클러치 시스템의 퍼지 슬립 제어

Nowadays, most passenger cars equipped with automatic transmissions use torque converter clutches to reduce fuel consumption, and recently the slip control scheme of torque converter clutches is widely studied for the expansion of the operating region of torque converter clutches and thus for the further improvement of the fuel economy of vehicles. In this study, the analysis of the torque converter clutch system including the line pressure control unit of the automatic transmission and the actuating hydraulic control unit of the torque converter clutch is performed, and a feedforward controller and a fuzzy logic controller for its slip control are proposed. Also, for the slip controller to use the grade resistance information during control, an observer-based grade resistance estimator is designed. The performance of the designed grade resistance estimator and the slip controller is verified by dynamic simulations, and the effect of the torque converter clutch slip control on the fuel economy is examined using a driving cycle simulation.
