Because the existing RC-controlled gyro sensor was directly controlled and there was no device to prevent collision, it would frequently collide when encountering obstacles. To solve this problem, the proposed RC car was equipped with two ultrasonic sensors on the front and new data values were obtained from the output from the gyro sensor and the ultrasonic sensor. When the output value is received by the ultrasonic sensor, a search algorithm is used to find and change the output value by the gyro sensor. Based on these values, Arduino was used to control the RC cars motor using new 4-bit data. This search algorithm improves stability by reducing collisions with obstacles. Through the several experiments such as the number of obstacles detected, the number of collisions, and the speed to the target point, we found that the proposed RC car model improves more stability than existing RC car models.

In this study, improvement of indoor air quality in newly built apartments was analyzed from results of the previous surveys. And also the changes of the occupants' evaluation on indoor air quality was statistically analyzed through field survey. Finally, the corelation analysis between the indoor air quality and occupants' satisfaction. The questionnaire survey of occupants who Live in the newly built apartment buildings was conducted during 25 June to 19 July, 2010. The questionnaire was consisted of three parts; one is [or information on family; the second is for satisfaction on IAQ in their apartments; the last is for clearance for the law. About 928 occupants were participated in the questionnaire survey. From this study, it was found that levels of indoor air pollutants are below the guidelines, and also that about 30% occupants are satisfied with their indoor air. Comparing with the satisfaction of the law released before, it is on an upward trend.
손의 움직임에 의한 가속도 센서 기반 무선조종 자동차의 구현

Representative conventional RC(radio-controlled) car is a joystick controlled RC car and it is moved by RF communication between joystick and RC car. RC which is implemented in this paper is moved by not joystick base on RC car but acceleration sensor based on RC car. In other words, the proposed RC car moves according to the movement of the hand using the acceleration sensor which is attached to the hand. The principle is that the measured values from the acceleration sensor are transmitted to the receiver of the radio controlled car through RF communication. It is implemented to move the car wheel by using the received acceleration value. Through the experiments, we confirm that the theoretically calculated results and experiment results for calculating the angle of upward and downward movement of the implemented RC car are same, and then we can derive the most reasonable parameter values which moves as the wanted angle and direction.
