To develop the X-ray microscope for the non-destructive inspection, It is nessessary that the mirror can form the high intensity single-wave parallel X-ray beam. For fabrication of X-ray mirror, it is firstly designed for wavelength of X-ray source. and then, to use the designed curvature, We make the core and deposit the multilayer on the core to form the parallel X-ray. In this study, the mirror deposited by W/Al multilayers was fabricated to use for parallel X-ray mirror. and deposit condition and degree of precision of surface of each layer was measured by SEM and AFM.

This paper presents application results of the augmented matrix eigen-sensitivity theories to TCSC siting problem for damping the inter-area low frequency oscillation in the large KEPCO system. First and second-order eigen-sensitivities of the inter-area low frequency oscillation in the large KEPCO system. First and second-order eigen-sensitivities of the inter-area mode are computed fro changes in susceptance of the transmission lines. The lines having high sensitivity are chosen as the initial candidates for installing TCSC. Then for each of the chosen candidates, Bodeplot of the transfer function with line susceptance as the input and the bus voltage at one side of the line as the output is computed. Using the Bode plots, the lines having any zeros near the inter-area mode are screened out since design of TCSC controller is very difficult in such a case. The $H_{\infty}$ TCSC controller installed at any finally chosen candidate is found to be effective in damping the inter-area oscillation, and the proposed TCSC siting algorithm is proved to be valid. Design of $H_{\infty}$ controller is described in Part IIof this paper.
자기공명영상 기반 3차원 유한요소모델링을 통한 무릎관절의 파손평가

본 연구에서는 먼저 완전 신전상태의 병변이 없는 26세 남자의 자기공명영상이미지를 기반으로 대퇴골, 경골, 관절연골, 반월상 연골의 정밀한 3차원 재구축을 실시하였다. 재구축된 무릎모델에 인대와 건을 생리학적으로 적합한 위치에 부착시켜 3차원 유한요소모델을 완성시켰다. 뼈, 관절연골, 반월상 연골은 균질성, 등방성 선형탄성거동을 보이는 것으로 고려하였으며, 인대와 건은 트러스 요소와 선형, 비선형 스프링 요소를 사용하여 모델링하였다. 제작된 무릎관절의 유한요소모델을 ABAQUS를 사용하여 비선형 접촉해석을 수행하였다. 수치해석결과로서 조직의 손상과 환자의 통증을 추정하기 위한 중요매개변수로 간주될 수 있는 관절연골과 반월상연골의 접촉압력과 von Mises 응력분포를 계산하였으며, 관절연골과 반월상 연골의 접촉압력과 von Mises 응력분포를 분석하여 무릎관절에 대한 파손평가를 실시하였다. In this study, the femur, the tibia, the articular cartilage and the menisci are three dimensionally reconstructed using MR images of healthy knee joint in full extension of 26-year-old male. Three dimensional finite element model of the knee joint is fabricated on the reconstructed model. Also, the FE models of ligaments and tendons are attached on the biologically suitable position of the FE model. Bones, articular cartilages and menisci are considered as homogeneous, isotropic and linear elastic materials, and ligaments and tendons are modeled as truss element and nonlinear elastic springs. The numerical results show the contact pressure and the von Mises stress distribution in the soft tissues such as articular cartilages and menisci which can be regarded as important parameters to estimate the failure of the tissues and the pain of the patients.

This paper presents a systematic design procedure of $H_{\infty}$ controller of TCSC for damping low frequency inter-area oscillations in large power systems. Sensitivities of the inter-area mode for changes in line susceptance are computed using the eigen-sensitivity theory of augmented system matrix and TCSC locations are selected using the line sensitivities. The reduced model required for designing a manageable-size $H_{\infty}$ controller is obtained using the reduced frequency domain system identification method and the various weighting functions are tuned systematically to provide a robust performance. The proposed $H_{\infty}$ controller proved to be very effective for damping the inter-area mode of the large KEPCO power system.
시분할 스위칭 기법을 이용한 양방향 DC/DC 컨버터에 관한 연구

A number of new and renewable energy power plants have currently been under construction to cope with fossil fuel depletion, while various large-scale battery energy storage systems have been configured to complement the characteristically unstable output of new and renewable energy. In the meantime, as the scale of energy storage system increases, there is an urgent demand for bidirectional charge/discharge converters with large capacities, and relevant researches are actively going on. Interleaved converter is most generally used for this purpose because it enables not only the reduction of output current ripple, but also the increase of capacity through the parallel configuration of inductor and switch and diode. This paper proposes a new concept of DC/DC converter that allows the sharing of inductor and output capacitor by using a multi-phase switch. However, interleaved converter has the weak points that size and unit price increase as capacity increases, and that effective switching frequency is limited. The proposed DC/DC converter has a structure that can increase the effective switching frequency of not only output capacitor but inductor as well, and its merit of enabling the reduction of inductor capacity by reducing inductor current ripple was demonstrated.

도로 주행 시 운전을 보조하고 안전 운전을 지원하기 위한 기술인 도로상황인지 시스템에 있어 효율적인 차선·차간 검출 기법은 위의 핵심적인 기술이다. 실시간으로 수집되는 도로 상황 영상 데이터 분석에 대한 처리 시간을 단축하기 위하여 각각의 영상 프레임에 대해 관심 영역을 설정한 후 허프 변환을 적용하였다. 본 논문은 카메라로 수집되는 도로 상황 영상에 관심 영역 설정을 통한 실시간 차선·차간 인식에 관한 연구로서, 차선과 차간 인식을 위한 효율적인 알고리즘을 제안한다.
