        In this paper a maximum power point tracking(MPPT) techniques for power of PV(photovoltaic) systems are presented using boost converter for a connected single phase inverter. On the basic principle of power generation for the PV module, algorithms for maximum power point tracking are described by utilizing a boost converter to adjust the output voltage of the PV module. Based on output power of a boost converter, single phase inverter uses predicted current control to control four IGBT's switch in full bridge. Furthermore a low cost control system for solar energy conversion using the DSP is developed, based on boost converter to adjust the output voltage of the PV module. The effectiveness of the proposed inverter system is confirmed experimentally and by means of simulation. Finally. experimental results confirm the superior performance of the proposed method.

      • 오프라인 프로그램을 이용한 로봇 비전시스템

        In this paper a manufacturing robot system is developed for the purpose of increasing the flexibility against changing product model. This system performs the soldering task. The module to solder the circuit is composed of robots(AC-L5) and automatic solder machine (SOLDER KING Ⅲ), is programmed 0LP(off-line programming) technique. The general kinematic and dynamic features of robot are analyzed to apply the error calibration of the AC-1.5 and the real assembly line. Robot teaching by using vision image at eye-on-hand reduces the setup time to cope with changing product model. The developed cells from the above results were installed and operated in the real camera back-cover assembly line where the work time and the soldering quality were improved compared to an ordinary cell using SCARA robot and the rate of the bad product is reduced in the process. Also, the task teaching in off-line program is 50 times faster than an ordinary on-line teaching method after the completion of one setting, contribution to the increase and efficiency of production and tasks.

      • 선풍기 콘덴서에서 발생하는 트랙킹 파형 분석

        Electric fans are electric home appliances widely used in summer season, and because its mechanical structure and how to handle is simple, the products of various size and structure has been produced. Every year, about 5% of the fire originated in electric home appliances have been originated in electric fan, and owing to this. It have brought a tremendous loss of buildings and human lives. As the cause of the fire in electric fan, there are layer short of fan motor coil, short of electric wire in service hole of fan motor by superheating of coil of fan motor, deterioration of condenser, short of electric wire of swing part of fan head, short of power source cord. In this study, we observed the wave shape of tracking of one of the prodrome before ignition by deterioration of condenser, and analysed their harmonics of current wave shape. As the result of this study, it is analysed that the current wave shape of normal operation of electric fan is different from the current wave shape of tracking, accordingly the magnitude of harmonics is different, and we expect available to development of protector of electric fan by use of difference of these harmonics.

      • PMSM의 저속운전 및 기동성능 개선을 위한 선형 엔코더

        PMSM(Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor) drives are widely used in the industrial applications and home appliances because of high torque ratio, high efficiency and precise control performance. In recent years there has been a significant development of PMSM motors of various kinds. Improvements in the properties of permanent magnet materials have increased the viability of related types of motors. However, precise speed and position information is essential for the good control performance. In order to produce correct torque, the rotor flux position information from position sensor has to be identified. In this paper, a low cost position sensor is proposed for improving of starting and low speed performance of PMSM. The proposed position sensor produces a linear analog signal that is proportional to the electrical rotor position. The information of initial rotor position at the starting instance and accurate position in the low speed can be obtained with the proposed encoder. The performance of the proposed encoder is verified with experimental results.

      • 자속 분포학습에 의한 영구자석 동기전동기의 토오크 리플 저감

        PMSM drives are widely used in the industrial and residential applications because of high efficiency, high power density and high performance. For better performance of PMSM, however, torque ripples should be reduced. This paper investigates a reduction of torque ripple due to the unsinusoidal flux linkage produced by the shapes of stator slot and magnetic pole. To minimize torque ripple, a simple flux estimator is proposed. This method interactively compensates the distributed flux linkage from an error between the measured and estimated currents. The proposed algorithm is verified through simulation.

      • 유전알고리즘을 이용한 모델추종형 PID 제어기 설계에 관한 연구

        The aim of this paper is to suggest a design method for the model following PID control system using genetic algorithm. A Genetic algorithm is used to optimize the coefficients of a PID controller. By applying this method to the DC servo motor, the simulation results indicate that the proposed method gives a good performance in tracking the reference model.

      • 유도전동기의 가변속 운전을 위한 적응 퍼지 속도제어기의 구현

        Recently, design methods have been developed with fuzzy algorithm to drive the IM. Then, the design of optimal fuzzy controller needs much time and effort, since it is obtained through trial and error based on expert's knowledge. Therefore. we proposed a self-tuning technique of scale factors which could easily design the fuzzy speed controller. We designed the adaptive Fuzzy speed controller of an induction motor(IM) using the fuzzy algorithms which have a self-tuning algorithm. The proposed fuzzy speed control system was performed by using an IBM PC. Compared with conventional PI speed controller. the performances of proposed fuzzy controllers such as dynamic responses and the robustness against load disturbance were substantially improved.

      • Diode-Bridge 方式을 利用한 可變周波數 單相竝列型 인버어터의 構成과 動作特性에 관한 硏究

        This paper deals with organization and chracteristics of a single phase diode-bridge inverter for adjustable frequency operation. The adjustable frequency range of this inverter is 25~500[Hz] and the rated output is 100 [V], 200[W]. The merits of this inverter is that it does not need any auxiliary SCR or power supply for commutation. As the result of experiments, the maximum converting efficiency of this inverter is 91[%] and no load commutating loss is 6[W].
