        3대가족 동거주택을 위한 수직 2호 1주택 아파트 재구성 연구

        A small apartment housings in Korea, which is built mass-product from 1980s, are dissatisfied, in spite of good condition, due to the growing living areas and changing lifestyle of the residents. Many of them confronted with slum areas and the kinds of housing stock accumulated much more in Korean contexts. For the existing small houses, it could be discuss an adaptation model to the increasing requirement standards of the house residents; wider living area, new facilities and a style of new residence. A social policy for elderly people who are handicap in physical and economical aspects, is home stay system rather than national support. But it is not easy to find the three generation family house in Korea context, specially apartment house. This paper deals with the vertical unification typology of two dwelling units to one, in order to supply three generation houses by remodel existing small apartment houses constructed by Korea National Housing Corporation. The use of convert houses into vertical expansion are expected to be a house of three generation family, it can also enhance privacy against conflictive activities in a house. And also the merging types of two dwelling units into one can be used as a device to get rid of the monotonous characteristics and gain diversity in the declining stock housing.

        바이커 재개발 : R. Earskine의 설계개념과 주민참여

        To be a good architecture, resident' needs should be defined as possible as definitely. A Multi-family housing is not easy to define of resident' needs, because the user is ambiguous and the needs is multi aspects. Byker housing project have a good approach to define ambiguous and many aspects of residence' need. In this view points, Byker redvelopment project show the process of resident' participation as a new customers, and design process architect with people, in spite of the early 1970s' project in terms of the user participations. This approach of residence participation is a good lesson how to communicate with recidence, how to identify the need, and its design is satisfied in the residence. And its project are discussed with residence how to manage of rehabilitation.

        노후아파트 재활용을 위한 건축디자인 의사결정 및 관리정책 연구

        This article deals the investigations how to solve the social deficiencies of deteriorate apartments, which is a half cycle of a building and it goes slum clearance and redevelopment. And this proposes an active remodeling and design strategy, management, and housing policies for extending the usage of the resource. Most of apartment housing in Korea is built by the panel wall and slab structure system fur economic price. To remake is possible, even though not designed in flexibility and variation. The remodeling strategies are dwelling unification, transformation of two units to one or three units, addition of a room, changing into commercial and community required spaces, and reshaping of a envelop and facade by addition of a dwelling or dwellings, roof floors, change of materials and colors, and so on. And, all activities in structural aspect are proposed removal in upper part and addition in lower part of an apartment housing. Active remodeling cost a great deal compare to new construction, so any remodeling activities should be based on a minimal interfere and budgets to enhancing the quality in existing building. The final aim of an active remodeling is to enhance the quality in economic values, and to keep original state and to put on the new one in a small part. To promote the active and careful management and rehabilitation, it is necessary to give the positive incentive in terms of architectural law, bank loan, and any redevelopment project should get the remodeling record in national resources.

        나주 읍성지역의 공간구조와 성장질서에 관한 연구

        Most of the urban in Korea are presented as a monotonous scape in the modernization. This article intend to find a identical element in the urban context, historical cities in Korea which is developed in a long time, and it can be a motives to establish identical urban environment based on cultural context. A Naju Old Castle in a south-western province in Korea have a history of local capital, and it developed a typical castle city, and this article deals the form and transformation of a castle, road, settlement, and composition of the centre of urban space; First, the formation of the castle was growed four stage. Second, it can be analysed stage three to stage four, and the transformation and the extended boundary was eastern part of the castle in state of road system was extended toward outside of the castle. Third, the growth of the castle was incremental process and the road network appeared as organic.In this article, the formation and transformation of the Naju Old Castle shows the identical order as a place in urban context, this characters can be develop a future urban design and reform.

        In recent, many university in Korea are confront with changing shift from department system to school one. This change can be a recomposition motives of educational fercilities in a university, because its change is a software of education. The change from the department to school system initiate lecture type and student number in a lecture and laboratory education and research, and can be a big motive to recomposition of educational fercilities. In this article, it discussed in case of Dongshin University, and extension of lecture room, laboratory typology, growth of campus according to new structure of the university in terms of the school system, This case study is very useful to optimise space in a university, and it can be apply to another university depend on the situation.

        근대건축과 한옥의 융합형 리모델링 이미지 평가

        Modern architecture can be a uniform structure or heterogeneous object in a historical environment. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the preference of hybrid architecture by defining it as a hybrid hanok considering its modern function and the emotional aspects of traditional architecture. The test target was a street with seven modern commercial buildings (STA, formerly) and was modeled as a hybrid architecture (STA-RF, later) with hanok elements in modern buildings for preference evaluation. The experimental model (Before, After) was evaluated in six categories, including traditionality, diversity, creativity, familiarity, traditional landscape of historical cities, and creative utility of modern architecture, and the data collected on a five-point scale was analyzed by SPSS pc. According to the experiment results, 1) Traditional Expression (86.0%), 2) Diversity of Design Elements (86.7%), 3) Creativity (81.6%), 4) Familiarity Recognition (67.2%), 5) Possibility of Traditional Landscape (82.5%), 6), and Creative Design of Modern Architecture and Hanok (84.6%) all had positive perceptions. Therefore, the present study confirmed that hybrid hanok (or hybrid style architecture) that combines elements of modern architecture and hanok in historical environment can be used as very friendly buildings with various potentials compared to modern architecture. 이 연구의 목적은 기존 근대건축을 바탕으로 전통한옥 요소를 활용하여 하이브리드건축으로 리모델링하고, 이를 대상으로 선호도를 평가하고자 한다. 실험대상은 상업건축으로 형성된 블록을 1차적으로 선택하고, 그 안에 포함된 7개 근대건축물을 대상으로 하였다(STA, before). 그 다음은 STA에 한옥 요소를 부가하여 복합한옥건축, 하이브리드한옥으로 리모델링하였다(STA-RF, after). 셋째, 이 두 개의 모델을 대상으로 전통성, 다양성, 창의성, 친숙성, 역사도시에서 젼통경관, 그리고 현대건축에서 창조적 활용성이라는 6 항목으로 실험모델(Before, After)를 비교하였다. 응답자에 의한 평가는 5점척도로 수집하여 SPSS pc 분석을 하였다. 근대건축을 대상으로 한옥요소를 활용한 리모델링실험 결과로서 응답자의 인식은 다음과 같다 : 1) 전통성을 표현한다(86.7%이상) 2) 디자인 요소가 다양해졌다(86.7%) 3) 창의성을 표현하였다(81.6%) 4)친숙하게 인식하게 되었다(67.2%) 5)역사도시에서 전통경관을 형성할 수있다(87.5%) 6) 현대건축에서 창의적인디자인으로 활용할 수 있다(84.6%). 이상의 실험결과를 통해서 근대건축과 한옥의 다른 건축양식을 활용한 하이브리드한옥(혹은 하이브리드스타일 건축)은 근대건축만의 디자인에 비하여 다양한 잠재력을 가진 매우 우호적인 건축으로 활용될 수 있다는 것을 확인하였다.
