Many natural medicines have been studied for their capacity and effects of antibacterial, anti-inflammatory and regenerative potential in periodontal tissues. Safflower seed has been traditionally used as a drug for treatment of bone fracture in oriental medicine. The purpose of the present study was to compare the effects of safflower seed extract and bone substitute on bone formation and regeneration in artificial defects in mongrel dogs. The bony defects were made with round bur at mandible and tibia. Extracts of safflower seed and bovine bone were placed directly at each defect for experimental group, and the defect of control group was sutured without any other treatment. Experimental animals were sacrificed at 8 weeks. And then histopathologic reading and histomorphometric study was done. There was not significant differences between control and experimental groups in osteoclastic activity and infiltration of inflammatory cells. However, new capillary proliferation, fibrosis and new bone formation were prominent in safflower seed extract group. The mandibular defects of safflower seed extract group were healed with dense connective and bony tissues, and endochondral bone formation was observed in tibial defect of safflower seed extract group only. New bone area of safflower seed extract group was more significantly increased than that of control and that of bone substitute group. These results indicate that direct local application of safflower seed extracts on bony defects seems to reduces the early inflammatory response and to promotes the bone regeneration.

When problems such as line fault, breakdown of a substation or a generator, etc. arise on the grid, the Microgrid is designed to be separated or isolated from the grid. Most existing DGs(Distributed Generators) in distribution system use rotating machine. However, new DGs such as micro gas turbine, fuel cell, photo voltaic, wind turbine, etc. will be interfaced with the Microgrid through an inverter. So the Microgrid may have very lower inertia than the conventional distribution system. By the way, the rate of change of frequency depends on the inertia of the power system. Moreover, frequency has a strong coupling with active power in power system. Because the frequency of the Microgrid may change rapidly and largely during transient, appropriate and fast control strategy is needed for stable operation of the Microgrid. Therefore, this paper presents a power balancing strategy in Microgrid during transient. Despite of strong power or frequency excursions, power balancing in the Microgrid can be maintained.

이 연구의 목적은 프로와 semi 프로 지도자의 기술지도 행동을 비교하고 분석하며 그에 따른 학습자의 실력 향상도를 비교하는 것이다. 연구 문제는 첫째, 골프 전문 지도자의 주된 지도 행동은 무엇인가? 둘째, 기술 지도시 골프 전문 지도자와 학습자와의 주된 상호작용은 무엇인가? 그리고 셋째, 골프 전문 지도자에게 기술 지도를 받은 후 학습자들의 운동 수행력은 향상되는가? 이었다. 이 연구에는 4명의 골프 전문 지도자(2명의 프로 골프 전문 지도자와 2명의 semi 프로 골프 전문 지도자)가 참여하였다. 연구 참여자들은 골프에 대한 학습 경험이 전혀 없는 여자 대학생을 4주 12회 동안 스윙 지도를 하였다. 초보 학습자들을 지도하는 골프전문 지도자의 기술지도 행동은 CAFIAS를 이용하여 분석하였다. 연구 결과 기술 지도시 주된 지도 행동은 학습자의 기술 연습, 학습자에게 스윙 동작을 설명하는 지식 전달, 그리고 지시로 나타났다. 또한, 골프 전문 지도자와 학습자 간의 상호작용은 반복적인 스윙 연습, 스윙 동작 설명, 지시, 칭찬, 그리고 지도자의 시범이 주로 나타났다. 골프 전문 지도자들은 모두 학습자의 실력을 향상 시켰으나 학습자의 실력 향상 결과는 semi 프로 골프 전문 지도자에게 지도를 받은 학습자가 좀 더 향상되었다. The purpose of this study was to analyze and compare coaching behavior of expert golf instructors. Research questions were (1) What are the dominant instructional patterns of expert golf instructor? (2) What are the effects of expert golf instructors on students` performance? Four expert golf instructors (i.e., two pro and semi pro) participated in this study. Participants were observed over 12 practice sessions during the four weeks. Coaching behaviors were video taped and analyzed later using Cheffers` Adaptation of the Fladers` Interaction Analysis System(CAFIAS) when they coached beginning golfers. Results of this study showed that the most dominant behaviors in the lesson was nonverbal predictable response followed by giving verbal information and giving verbal direction. There was a different instructional behaviors between the pro and semi pro instructors. Also, results revealed that interaction pattern of these instructors was practice, explanation, verbal direction, praise, and demonstration. Students` performance was improved after four week lessons from expert golf instructors. Implication of the study was discussed and suggestions were made to improve research on expert instructors in sport.

최근 배전계통에는 많은 분산전원 형태의 신재생 에너지원이 도입됨으로써 유효전력의 변화가 부하의 변동은 물론 분산전원의 출력에도 많은 영향을 받는다. 배전계통의 선로정수는 저항(R) 성분을 무시하는 송전계통과는 다르게 R>>X이기 때문에 배전계통에서는 유효전력 변화에 의한 전압의 변동이 두드러지게 나타난다. 본 논문에서는 전력과 전압의 관계에 관한 수식을 통하여 분산전원의 유효전력 출력의 변화가 전압변동에 미치는 영향을 살펴보고 분석해 봄으로써 발생할 수있는 ULTC(Under Load Tap Changer)의 전압조정 문제를 PSCAD/EMTDC 프로그램을 이용한 시뮬레이션을 통해 살펴보고자 한다.

The ultimate goal of periodontal treatment is the regeneration of periodontal tissues which have been lost due to periodontal disease. Recently, many natural medicines have been studied for their potential of anti-bacterial, anti-inflammatory and regenerative effects in periodontal tissues. Safflower seeds have been traditionally used as a drug for treatment of fracture and blood stasis in oriental medicine. The objective of the present study is to examine the biologic effects of safflower seeds extract on bone formation and regeneration of rat calvarial defects. The calvarial defects were made with 8mm trephine bur and extract of safflower seeds were placed directly at these defects. 24 rats were divided into control and experimental groups, and each group was sacrificed at 1 week, 4 weeks and 8 weeks. To study a histopathology related to bone regeneration, Goldner's Masson Trichrome stain and histomorphologic measuring was done at each weeks. In the early phase of bone healing, less inflammatory infiltration and capillary proliferation was found in experimental group compared to control. Dense bony tissues and matured bone structures in defect areas were found in experimental groups. And area of new bone formation was significantly increased at 8 weeks in experimental group. These results indicate that direct local application of safflower seeds extract reduces the early inflammatory response and promotes the regeneration of new bone in calvarial defects of rats.
