만곡치는 치관과 치근 사이의 경계부에서 굽어 있는 형태적 특징이 있다. 만곡치는 영구치열에서 3% 유병율을 나타내고 있으며 확실한 원인은 아직 정립된 바 없으나 유치의 외상으로 인한 계승 영구치의 만곡과 외상과 관계없는 치배의 특발성 발육장애가 2가지 주요 원인으로 추측되고 있다. 특히 만곡된 상악 절치는 흔히 맹출지연으로 인한 매복이 유발되며 이를 방치할 경우 정중선 불일치, 인접 치아의 이동에 의한 공간부족과 치조골 높이의 불일치가 발생된다. 본 증례는 상악 중절치의 매복을 주소로 한 8세 남아로 CT상 매복된 상태에서 치관부가 전비극에 근접하여 협측으로 위치되어 있으며 치근부에서 만곡이 관찰되어 교정적 견인을 시도하였으나 이동이 되지 않아 외과적 재위치술로 치료하여 양호한 결과를 얻었기에 보고하는 바이다. Dilaceration is a developmental disturbance in shape of teeth. It refers to an angulation, or a sharp bend or curve, in the root or crown of a formed tooth. Dilacerations are estimated to occur in 3% of all permanent dentitions. However, the etiology of dilaceration is not yet fully understood. Traumatic injury to the deciduous predecessors and ectopic development of the tooth germ are the two commonly cited causes of this anomaly. The involved tooth is usually the maxillary central incisor and it also shows high prevalence of impaction. At first, We tried to do surgical exposure with orthodontic traction but to no avail. After then surgical repositioning of the dilacerated tooth was performed. Finally, Satisfactory results were obtained at the end of treatment, with improvement in dental esthetics and functional aspects.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to contribute on the development of nursing interventions and elevation of professional education in aged care by classifying and explaining the structural types of nurses' attitude toward the elderly people. Method: The research method was Q-methodology. 40-statement questionnaire was given to 32 nurses selected as P-sample and the results were put into 9 score scale and compulsorily distributed. Principal Component Analysis was applied to the collected data using the QUANL PC program. Result: The first type was 'regarding elderly with hostility,' which was the negative attitude toward elderly, that observe elderly as disliking changes, clinging to their own things and being stubborn. The second type was 'hugging elderly intimately,' that nurses view elderly as a people who concern more about their family than themselves, and feel intimate from elderly people's faces, so they should respect and have high regard for elderly people. The third type was 'holding back from the burden,' that nurses don't want to be closely involved with elderly with neutral attitude toward them, neither positive nor negative. Conclusion: Therefore, this study suggested the necessity of the development of nursing program which will inspire the positive attitude toward elderly people by different types of nurses' attitude.

Purpose: This study was to develop and to evaluate a health promotion program elderly. Method: This study was a quasi-experimental research. The participants were 62 elderly(experimental group:31, control group:31). Data were collected between September 10 and November 5, 2005. The data were analyzed by descriptive statistics, Independent t-test and ANCOVA. Result: 1. In designing the program, experimental group was given recreation program and pilates excercise 2 time a week, for 8 week. 2. Pilates excercise including recreation, significantly affected the BP, life satisfaction and depression. 3. Total cholesterol and blood sugar was not significantly affected by the pilates excercise. Conclusion: The Program was tested to promote the health of elderly and verified as an effective nursing intervention program, because the outcome of this program as certain that this program enhances life satisfaction, reduces depression and BP. Therefore this program is verified as a suitable exercise for the old people. The reason why firstly, there are no restricts of time and space. secondly, anyone can easily follow this as far as he can thirdly, this program is a soft and warm exercise.
