Particulate matter with an aerodynamic diameter of less than 2.5 μM (PM<sub>2.5</sub>) is one of the major environmental pollutants. Di(2-ethylhexyl) phthalate (DEHP), an endocrine disrupting chemical in PM<sub>2.5</sub>, has been utilized for the manufacturing of polyvinyl chloride to increase the flexibility of final products. In the present study, we investigated the ecotoxicological effect of DEHP on the viability of skin keratinocytes (HaCaT). DEHP induced apoptotic cell death mediated by phosphorylation of extracellular signal-regulated kinase through the production of intracellular Reactive Oxygen Species (ROS). Interestingly, we found that DEHP induces the phosphorylation of the nuclear factor-kappa B responsible for the expression of cleaved caspase-3 as an executional cell death protease in HaCaT cells. On the basis of these results, we suggest that DEHP in PM<sub>2.5</sub> induces the apoptotic death of human keratinocytes via ROS-mediated signaling events.
방사선사진과 임상검사에서 하악 대구치 치근의 형태학적 구조 및 치조골 수준에 관한 비교연구

Periodontal defects of the furcation are characterized by several inherent anatomic factors that can make successful periodontal therapy difficult and results unpredictable. The severity and rate of occurrence of periodontal disease are directly related to the location of the furcation relative to the cementa-enamel junction and anatomical form of the root by limiting the accessibility and effectiveness of the periodontal instrumentation. This study investigated the reliability and accuracy of panoramic radiograph diagnoses of the periodontal state of mandibular molars, particularly regarding the diagnosis of furcation area periodontal defects, treatment planning, and prognosis prediction. This study examined a total of 110 teeth belonging to 33 subjects (19 male, 14 female) presenting with incipient to moderate periodontitis 4-7mmpocket depth. The alveolar bone level, length and width of the root trunk, and root separation angle were measured using the panoramic radiograph and compared to the results taken directly by retracting a full-thickness flap. The results of the study are as follows: 1. Data regarding the alveolar bone level of the mandibular first molar showed that the directly taken surgical measurements resulted in $5.1{\pm}0.9mm$ that was slightly deeper than the corresponding panoramic measurement resulted in $4.8{\pm}0.8mm$, but these differences were statistically insignificant (p>0.05). 2. The data of the directly taken surgical measurement of the mandibular second molar $(5.1{\pm}1.1mm)$ was slightly deeper than the corresponding panoramic measurement $(4.7{\pm}1.2mm)$, but these differences were statistically insignificant (p>0.05). 3. The measured values of the length and width of the mandibular first molar root trunks were determined to be $4.1{\pm}0.6mm$ and $7.3{\pm}0.9mm$, respectively, while the values of the mandibular second molar root trunks were determined to be $4.6{\pm}1.3mm$ and $7.6{\pm}0.9mm$ respectively. The differences between these values were found to be statistically significant (p<0.01). 4. The measured values of the root separation angle showed that the mandibular first molars averaged $34.5{\pm}4.4^{\circ}$, while the mandibular second molars averaged $23.0{\pm}10.0^{\circ}$. The differences between these values were found to be statistically significant (p<0.01).

Heck coupling 반응을 이용해서 poly{2-[2-(2,5-bis-dodecyloxy-4-propenyl-phenyl)-vinyl]-7-methyl-fluoren-9-one(PFone), poly{2-[2-(2,5-bis-dodecyloxy-4-propenyl-phenyl)-vinyl]-7-methyl-fluoren-9-ylidene}-malonitrile(PF2CN)을 합성하였다. 합성한 중합체의 광학적, 전기화학적 특성을 흡수, 형광분 광법 및 cyclic voltammetry(CV)를 통해 확인하였다. PFone과 PF2CN 필름의 흡수 극대치는 410 nm과 410.5 nm에서 나타났다. PFone 및 PF2CN의 최대 발광파장은 각각 633과 635nm로 나타났다. PFone과 PF2CN의 band gap은 각각 2.06eV 과 2.36eV이고 CV를 통해 측정한 LUMO 에너지 준위는-3.36eV 와 -3.46eV로 나타났다. Poly{2-[2-(2,5-bis-dodecyloxy-4-propenyl-phenyl)-vinyl]-7-methyl-fluoren-9-one (PFone) and poly{2-[2-(2,5-bis-dodecyloxy-4-propenyl-phenyl)-vinyl]-7-methyl-fluoren-9-ylidene}-malonitrile (PF2CN) were synthesized by the Heck coupling reaction. Optical and elctrochemical properties of polymers were investigated by the UV-Vis spectrophotometry, fluorometry and cyclic voltammetry. The absorption maximum wavelength of PFone and PF2CN appeared at 410 nm and 410.5 nm, respectively. The photoluminescence maximum wavelength of PFone and PF2CN showed at 633 nm and 635 nm. The band gap energy of PFone and PF2CN figured out from the UV-Vis spectra were 2.06 eV and 2.36 eV, respectively. The LUMO energy level of PFone and PF2CN estimated from the cyclic voltammetry were -3.36eV and -3.46eV, respectively
흡열반응을 적용한 연료공급 및 냉각계통 구성품 시험장치 개발

고속비행체의 연료공급 및 냉각계통에 적용되는 연료의 흡열반응을 이용한 냉각 특성을 확인하기 위해 열교환 냉각채널과 이를 시험할 수 있는 시험 장치를 구성하였다. 이를 이용하여 연료의 흡열반응을 일으킬 수 있는 초임계 온도 및 압력 환경을 구현하였다. 시험결과를 토대로 촉매의 연료분해 영향성을 비교 평가함으로써, 흡열 열교환 냉각채널과 촉매의 고속비행체 연료계통 시스템 및 냉각계통에 적용 가능성을 확인하였다. The test system of heat exchanger cooling channel was composed with the aim of researching a fuel cooling characteristic using endothermic reaction on fuel supply and cooling systems of high-speed vehicles. It employed a simulate endothermic reaction caused to the supercritical state of fuel. With this result, Catalyst influenced for fuel cracking was confirmed in comparison to verify applicability of endothermic heat exchanger cooling channel with catalyst to the fuel supply and cooling system of high-speed vehicles.

In this paper, we proposed a new sensorless drive system for the trapezoidal type brushless DC motor, which does not use any mechanical position or speed sensor and applicable to the systems requiring a constant speed and torque such as Fan.<br/> For this, a novel indirect rotor position sensing technique based on a detailed analysis of the terminal voltage characteristics is proposed in this paper. And a sensorless drive system for the brushless DC motor is implemented using a 87c196mc for the main microprocessor, and a power FET for the inverter.<br/> The experimental results will show the validity of the proposed indirect sensing method and the practical use of the sensorless drive.

항공기 또는 발사체, 유도무기와 같은 고속비행체의 가압식 연료탱크에는 비행 종단부에서 가속도의 급격한 변화에 따른 연료이송단절 방지와 엔진으로의 기체유입을 차단할 수 있는 특별한 장치가 필요하다. 이러한 측면에서 유체의 표면장력을 이용하여 기체유입을 차단하는 Surface tension screen과 가속도 변화에 영향을 감소시키는 Collector tank가 고안되었다. 본 논문에서는 장치의 성능을 예측하고 영향을 미치는 주요 인자들을 규명한다. 또한 장치에 이용되는 mesh screen의 성능을 예측하고 실험을 통해 결과를 확인 하였다. A special device is required to prevent the disconnection of fuel transfer as rapidly change of acceleration and the inflow of gas to the engine in a pressurized fuel tank. To meet this requirement, the tube using surface tension and Tank for decreasing influence of acceleration was developed. This article predict to the device’s performance and to determine significant factor affecting device’s performance. Analytical study of Mesh screens performance and expreiment of screens performance were conducted.

연료탱크 내부에 존재하는 공기는 저장중 연료의 산화를 유발하고, 연료 이송성능을 저하시킬 수 있다. 따라서 항공기 연료탱크의 주유절차를 개선하기 위하여 연료탱크 내부에 존재하는 공기를 줄이는 방안으로 진공주유방식을 제안하였다. 본 논문에서는 진공주유 절차를 수립하여 실제 시험을 수행해 보았고, 이를 통해 진공주유중 발생하는 현상을 관찰할 수 있었다. 또한 탱크 내부의 기포 및 주유시간 절감을 위하여 다른 개선된 방안들을 제안하였다. The air remained in the fuel tank could cause oxidation of fuel during storage, and it also reduce the fuel transfer performance. To find better procedure for refueling of aircraft fuel tank, the vacuum refueling process was proposed to reduce air in the fuel tank. In this study, the vacuum refueling process established and tested, it could be helpful to find out what happened during vacuum refueling. Also the revised vacuum refueling processes were proposed to reduce the remained air and refueling time for aircraft fuel tank.
