인후두부 이상감을 호소하는 환자와 갑상선 병변과의 임상적 연관성

Background and Objectives : Globus pharyngeus is the feeling of a lump or foreign body in the throat. Otolaryngologists are often confronted with this condition, and some author reported that it represents 3 percent of all new clinic referral. The purpose of this study is to estimate the incidence of impalpable thyroid lesion in patients with globes pharyngeus and investigate possible association between globus pharyngeus and thyroid lesions. Material and Method : 146 patients with globus pharyngeus and 30 controls were prospectively examined by high resolution ultrasound. Results: Thyroid abnormalities were present in $75/146(51\%)$ patients with globus pharyngeus and in $7/30(23\%)$ controls. Of the patients with globus, 55 patients had a nodule or nodules, 11 patients had a cyst or cysts, 9 patients had diffuse abnormalities. Solitary nodule ranged from 4mm to 20mm. Conclusion : Impalpable, ultrasound detectable thyroid abnormailities are significantly more common in patients with globus pharyngeus than in controls. The thyroid abnormalities may be the cause of globus symptoms in some patients, and high resolution ultrasound is an important modality in patients presenting with globus.

Bioequivalence Evaluation of Commercially Available Choline Magnesium Trisalicylate Tablets in Healthy Volunteers

The bioequivalence of two commercial choline magnesium trisalicylate (CMT) tablets was evaluated in 10 normal male subjects (age 21-27 yr, mean 23 yr) following single oral administrations of two products. Test product was $Trimax^{\circledR}$ tablet (Hyundai Pharm. Ind. Co., Ltd., Korea) and reference product was $Trilisate^{\circledR}$ tablet (Purdue Frederick, U.S.A.). Both products contained 500 mg salicylate. In the study, ten volunteers were administered one tablet of $Trimax^{\circledR}$ or $Trilisate^{\circledR}$ with randomized two period cross-over study. The pharmacokinetic parameters of two products were statistically compared using Student's t-test and ANOVA. When Student's t-test was applied, mean area under the curves (AUC) of $Trilisate^{\circledR}$ and $Trimax^{\circledR}$ were $388.88{\pm}74.99\; {\mu}g{\cdot}hr/ml$ and $390.63{\pm}63.02\;{\mu}g{\cdot}hr/ml$ hrlm!, respectively, which were not significantly different (p>0.05). The mean peak concentrations $(C_{max})$ and mean times to peak $(T_{max})$ of $Trilisate^{\circledR}$ and $Trimax^{\circledR}$ were $71.1{\pm}12.2$ and $72.9{\pm}10.7\;{\mu}g/ml$, and $72{\pm}33$ and $57{\pm}36min$, respectively, which were not significantly different (p>0.05). The mean terminal phase half-lives $(t_{l/2ter})$ of the two products were $2.57{\pm}0.47$ and $2.43{\pm}0.40$ hr, and also they were not significantly different (p>0.05). When ANOVA was applied, the parameters of the two products were not also significantly different each other. Based on the above results, it has been concluded that the bioavailability of $Trimax^{\circledR}$ tablet was not significantly different from that of $Trilisate^{\circledR}$ tablet.

이프리플라본 서방정 제조 및 약동학적 평가

Ipriflavone is non-hormonal antiosteoporotic drug which inhibits bone resorption by reducing recruitment and/or differentiation of osteoclasts, and stimulates proliferation and differentiation of osteoblast, and also enhances calcitonin secretion in the presence of estrogen. Although some kinds of immediately-released preparation of ipriflavone are available in commercial market, in present study, we tried to formulate sustained-release tablet using coating method with hydrophobic and hydrophilic coating materials. In vitro dissolution test was applied to evaluate sustained-release patterns of several test preparations (Test tablet A, B and C) designed using different preparation method or different compositions. From the results of dissolution test, test tablet A which showed suitable dissolution profile was selected as the candidate of new product. Pharmacokinetic evaluation of test drug, ipriflavone sustained-release tablets, was conducted in 6 beagle dogs weighing $11.5{\pm}0.5\;Kg$ compared with $Theobon^{\circledR}$ tablet, immediately-released tablet (Kukjae Pharm. Co.) as reference drug. Two products were randomly administered to 6 beagle dogs, and after 1 week, cross-over study was conducted. From the present study, AUC and $T_{max}$ of test product were significantly different from those of reference product (p<0.05), respectively$(AUC\;:\;3646.28{\pm}472.56\;vs\;3646.28{\pm}472.56\;ng{\cdot}hr/ml,\;T_{max}\;:\;4.33{\pm}1.03\;vs\;1.42{\pm}0.38\;hr)$. But $C_{max}$ was not significantly different between two products (p>0.05) $(\;512.52{\pm}48.18\;vs\;443.97{\pm}140.53\;ng/ml)$. From the results of pharmacokinetic evaluations, it was noted that absorption amount of test product was increased, but absorption rate was delayed and $C_{max}$ of two products were not changed. And it was concluded that redesign of the sustained-release preparation which has a lower content of iprifavone rather than test tablet A must be considered.

‘버즈비의 아이들(Busby Babes)’의 축구사적 의미

본 연구는 맨체스터 유나이티드의 황금기를 장식한 Busby Babes가 상징하는 축구사적 의미를 해석하기 위해 진행되었다. 이를 위해 Busby Babes와 관련된 1, 2차 자료를 고찰하였고, 그 결과 다음과 같은 결론을 도출할 수 있었다. 첫째, Busby Babes의 출현은 구단의 시스템과 감독의 선수운용 철학이 합작해 낸 결과물이었으며, 혁신적인 지도자의 철학과 주변의 전폭적인 지원이 시너지 효과를 발휘할 때에 역사적인 발자취가 생성될 수 있음을 시사하는 사례였다. 둘째, Busby Babes의 역사적 의미는 유망주 발굴과 유소년 축구정책 강화를 통해 어린 시절부터 팀의 철학을 실천할 수 있는 인적 토대를 강화하고 이를 기반으로 세계적인 클럽으로 성장할 수 있는 문화적 토양을 마련한다는 팀의 정체성을 형성한 점과, 황금기를 맞이하던 시기에 닥친 뮌헨 비행기 추락사고의 시련에도 불구하고 그 위기를 성공적으로 극복하였고 이를 계기로 세계적인 축구 클럽으로 발돋움 할 수 있을 만한 감동적인 스토리텔링의 주인공이 되었다는 점이었다. This study is aimed to illuminate the meaning of Busby Babes in history of M.U. To meet the purposes of the study, an literature survey on the primary and secondary sources of Busby Babes. The research outcomes are as follows. First, the emergence of the Busby Babes was a result of a joint venture between the team's system and the director of the coaching staff, and suggested that the innovative leader's philosophy could create a historic footprint in the event of a synergy effect. Second, the historical significance of Busby Babes has strengthened the human foundation to reinforce the team's philosophy of developing a team of young people from childhood and strengthening youth football policies, thereby forming a team of cultural soils that can grow into world-class clubs. Also despite the ordeal of the Munich plane crash, successfully overcame the crisis and became a touching story of moving forward to become a world-class soccer club.

서울올림픽 개최 반대여론에 대한 사회문화적 고찰

본 연구는 서울올림픽 개최에 대한 반대여론의 사회문화적인 배경을 조명하고 또 다른 측면에서의 개최 의미를 평가해보고자하는데 목적이 있다. 반대여론과 관련된 1, 2차 자료에 대한 문헌고찰을 실시했으며 상호주관적 논의의 방법을 통해 연구의 객관성을 확보하고자 하여, 다음과 같은 결론을 도출하였다. 첫째, 개최비용과 관련된 반대여론은 경제적 수준에 대한 충분한 논의가 반영되지 못한 유치 계획에서 비롯되었으며 결과적으로 경제적 가치가 높은 올림픽을 준비하기 위한 ‘대중의 채찍’으로 작용했던 것으로 해석된다. 둘째, 남북관계에 기인하는 개최 반대여론은 북한의 공동개최 요구에 의해 발생했으며 국제사회의 여론이 일관되게 지지해 준 것과는 달리, 국내에서는 사회적 분열을 야기하기도 했다. 셋째, 도시개발과 관련된 반대여론은 ‘올림픽에 대한 반대’보다는 ‘올림픽으로 인한 부당한 희생에 대한 반대’의 형태로 드러났다. 결국 과업 지향적인 사회의 암묵적 동의가 서울올림픽으로 인한 부당한 희생을 유발시켰고 그것은 우리 사회가 성숙해가는 과정에 하나의 ‘성장통’이 되었던 것으로 판단된다. This study is aimed to illuminate the socio-cultural backgrounds and meanings of opposition opinion for hosting the Seoul Olympics. A literature survey on the primary and secondary sources was carried out and an inter-subjective discussion was used for objective description. The research outcomes are as follows. First, an opposition thought for the Seoul Olympics appeared due to a concern about financial burden and this consequently led to a role as a ‘public whip’ to prepare economically successful Games. Second, another opposition opinion for the Seoul Olympics regarding the relationship with the North was created by a demand of North Korean for co-host. This consequently caused national division contrast to the external continuous support for the Games though there are continuous support from the international society. Third, the social opposition related to urban development was diffused in ‘negative sacrifice after the Games’ rather than in ‘opposition against hosting the Games’. Consequently, it is recognized that a tacit agreement of the task oriented society caused the negative sacrifices. This was a ‘growing pain’ toward the social maturity.

메가스포츠이벤트와 신중화주의에 관한 고찰

This study has been carried out to analyze the concept, Mega sports event and the new Sinocentrism After an objective description through inter-subjective discussion based on literature review from investigation of primary and secondary data, the following conclusions have been retrieved. First, considering the cultural features of the 2010 Guangzhou Asian Games, the record was once again recorded in the history of the Asian Games, ranking the largest ever in the history of the Asian Games. It was also possible to predict the Chinese governments policy towards the formation of Megalopolis through Mega Sports events. Second, considering the heritage of the 2010 Guangzhou Asian Games, it is analyzed that the political intentions of the Chinese government were revealed, followed by the cautious Sinocentrism of the Asia-Pacific region in the Asia-Pacific region, which is considered to be a political, economic and military power.

프리메라리가의 민족주의: "엘 클라시코"를 중심으로

본 연구는 엘 클라시코와 민족주의의 관련성에 대한 본질을 밝혀보는데 그 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 프리메라리가와 관련된 1, 2차 자료를 중심으로 문헌고찰을 실시했으며 상호주관적 논의(Inter-subjective discussion)의 방법을 통해 연구의 객관성을 확보하고자 했다. 그 결과 다음과 같은 결론을 도출하였다. 첫째, FC 바르셀로나와 레알 마드리드의 창단 과정을 고찰해본 결과, 두 팀의 형성과정에서는 민족주의적 대립 요소를 찾아볼 수 없었다. 둘째, 스페인 내전 이후 프랑코 정권의 탄압에 대항하는 과정에서 카탈루냐인들의 축구를 통한 민족주의가 형성되었다. 셋째, 엘 클라시코는 두 팀의 민족주의적 대립보다는 라이벌 의식에서 비롯되었으며, 오히려 민족적 수난의 시대에 축구에서의 라이벌에 대한 경쟁의식을 토대로 민족주의를 통해 고취시킴으로서 카탈루냐 민족의 단결을 유도하고자 했던 의도에서 비롯된 것이라 사료된다. This study is aimed to illuminate the essence of relevance of El Clasico and nationalism. To meet the purposes of the study, an literature survey on the primary and secondary sources of primera liga was carried out and an inter-subjective discussion was used for objective scope of the description. The research outcomes are as follows. First, the results of the review to FC Barcelona and Real Madrid in the founding process, the formation of the two teams could not find the nationalist opposition factor. Second, since the Spanish war, the football nationalism of the Catalan was formed. in process of against the oppression by Franco regime Third, El Clasico was derived from the rivalry of the two teams, rather than nationalistic opposition, that was intended to induce the unity of the Catalan nation through strengthening the rivalry of football in this era of national hardship.
