Diabetes mellitus (DM) increased lipid peroxidation that causes many other diseases Exercise therapy is important factor to cure the patient of DM. Lipid peroxidation, however, is increased during exercise. In addition, oxidative stress is stronger to DM when do some kind of exercise. In this point of view, rats have injected 55㎎/㎏ of streptozotocin (STZ) into the tail-vein after 16 h of fasting. After 12 h of STZ injection, over 200㎎/㎗ of giucose concentration was defined as DM produced. Then exercise was performed on the treadmill at 27m/min for 5 min without training. GOT and GPT concentration was significantly increased in STZ-W rats. Glycogen content in liver was significantly decreased in MDA was significantly decreased in STZ-P group than STZ-W group. These results suggested that acute administration of polyphenol 1 h prior to exercise have antioxidative effect in STZ-induced DM rats.
운동훈련과 녹차음용이 고지방식이 흰쥐의 혈중지질 및 항산화시스템에 미치는 영향

Green tea polyphenol is widely known to have an antioxidant effect in human and rats. Polyphenol, which extracted from green tea, has bitter taste and hard to gain. Therfore, in the present study, green tea was used as the supplement itself. Thirty two rats were divided into control (CON) and high fat fed (HF) group, and they were sub-grouped as water as a placebo (W) and green tea (GT) ingestion group, respectively. They have exercised on the treadmill and fed 43% of fat diet or normal diet for 5 weeks. Green tea, packed with the leaf, was solved in the hot water (85℃) for 5 min and 100㎖ was supplied every 8 A.M. Blood TC, HDL-C, and TG were analyzed using enzymatic methods and LDL-C was calculated by reported previously. SOD and MDA were analyzed to prove antioxidant effect of green tea. Body weight and food consumption were not significantly different between groups. TC and HDL-C were significantly between CON and HF group (p<0.05). TG was significantly lower in GT of HF group (p<0.05). MDA content was significantly lowed in GT in HF group (p<0.05). These results suggested that green tea ingestion lowers the lipid peroxidation and risk of obese when HF diet fed rats.

본 논문은 조립 개념을 탑재한 계층적 컴포넌트를 소개하며 이를 교육용 논리회로 시뮬레이터에 적용하여, 그 장점을 평가하고자 한다. 본 논문에서 제시하는 방법에 의한 컴포넌트의 설계과정은 계층 구조적이므로 설계 변경과 유지보수가 편리하고 컴포넌트의 재사용성을 상승시킨다. 이를 교육용 논리회로 시뮬레이터에 적용하면 다음과 같은 장점이 있다. 첫째, 불필요한 부분을 캡슐화하기 때문에 복잡성을 줄인다. 둘째, 그 캡슐화된 부분의 내부 회로도와 동작 상태를 확인할 수 있기 때문에 수준별·자율(자기 주도적) 학습에 효과적이다. 셋째, 병렬 개발이 가능해서 조별 협동 학습 수행이 가능하다.
일반 남자 대학생에 있어서 가르시니아 추출물 섭취가 중강도 운동중 지방산화 능력에 미치는 영향

(-)-Hydroxycitrate (HCA ). an active ingredient extracted from the rind of Garcinia Cambogia, is widely used for herbal supplement or anti-obesity treatment. In this study, we examined the effects of short-term HCA ingestion on fat oxidation during exercise in untrained male. In two experiments. double blind and crossover method, 6 untrained males ingested 500 mg of soluble HCA or placebo for 5 days. On the 5th day of the ingestion. they performed endurance exercise test cycling ergometer at 40% VO_(2max) for 1 h and then continued the exercise at 60% VO_(2max) until exhausted. In HCA ingestion group, blood FFA concentration, were significantly increased and respiratory exchange ratio (RER) significantly decreased. AIso, fat oxidation during exercise period was enhanced, while carbohydrate oxidation decreased during the same periods. These results suggested that short-term HCA ingestion increase fat oxidation during exercise, which spares glycogen utilization during the constant intensity exercise in untrained men.

The purpose of this study was to develop an equation for estimating VO_(2max) of patients with chronic disease from values of VO_(2LT) and some other critical(hypertension 15, obesity 15, hyperlipidemia 9, diabetes mellitus 14, complication 26) age 36 to 60 years. Multiple regression analysis, using VO_(2max) as the dependent variable and 19 physical and physiological determinants as independent variables, was performed. To generation gender-specific and gender-independent equations for estimation of VO_(2max) as follows: VO_(2max)=18.624+.761 X1+.196X2-.137X3-.198X4-.0468X5. Multiple correlations and standard errors of estimate for the measured versus predicted ˙V O2max values ranged from 0.53 to 0.92 and from 22.8 to 26.5㎎/㎏/min, respectively.

The purpose of this study was the effects of high carbohydrate diet on glycogen contents and exercise performance in male and female rats. Sprague-Dawley rats (male 24, female 24) were used in the present study. Among them 6 rats of each group were isolated during experimental periods. The others were exercised on the treadmill (8% incline) at 30 m/min, 30 min/day, and 5 days/week for 4 weeks. They were fed high carbohydrate diet (CHO: 70%, Protein: 20%, and Fat: 10%) using pair-feeding method during exercise periods. Blood glucose concentration was decreased during exercise in both groups and, male rats tended to higher than female rats. Blood lactate concentration was increased during exercise in both groups and, male rats showed significantly higher than female rats at post exercise. Free fatty acid concentration, however, was significantly higher in female rats even though they have fed same carbohydrate diet during exercise periods. Muscle and liver glycogen concentration was not significantly different in both groups during exercise. These results suggested that although lipid utilization was increased in female rats, glycogen utilization was similar in both groups. So, the effects of high carbohydrate diet on glycogen contents and exercise performance in different gender rats results were investigated for the near future.
고혈압 환자에 대한 장기간의 운동요법과 중지가 혈압 및 순환기능에 미치는 영향

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of long-term exercise therapy and the cessation on blood pressure and cardiorespiratory function in 19 female hypertensive patients, aged 48.5±6.4 years, who had not exercised regularly, volunteered to participate in the present study as subjects. They completed a 16-week exercise therapy consisting of combination exercise performed three times/week, for 60 min. session at lactate threshold (LT) level.Following the exercise period the VO_(2LT) increased significantly by the end of the exercise period (P<0.05). After 16 week of exercise therapy both the systolic and diastolic blood pressure decreased significantly. One month after the exercise ended the blood pressure increased significantly (P<0.05) and approached the initial pre-exercise levels. In conclusion, the effect of long-term exercise therapy at the LT was confirmed for middle-aged patients taking antihypertensive medications, However, the cessation of such therapy resulted in a return to pre-exercise levels.

차선 검출을 위한 영상처리연구는 Hough Transform을 이용하는 방법과 주파수 변환 방법, 히스토그램을 이용하는 방법, 템플릿을 이용하는 방법등이 사용되고 있다. 차선 검출에 가장 많이 사용되는 Hough Transform은 연산 과정이 복잡하여 차량의 속도가 증가하면 실제 상황과 오차가 생길 확률이 높다. 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위해 영상을 분할하여 최소한의 영역을 처리하여 처리량을 줄였으며, 차선 이외의 선이 추출될 경우 그 선의 각도와 위치를 고려하여 연산에 방해되는 선을 삭제한다. 또한 고속으로 진행하는 차량의 경우, 점선으로 이루어져 선이 보이지 않는 부분에서는 차선의 인식이 불가능하여 위험한 상황을 초래한다. 따라서 최소한의 차선을 이용하여 차선을 연장하고, 여러 직선으로 곡선을 표현하여 차량 진행 방향을 예측할 수 있다.

The purpose of this research is to investigate effects of different fluid ingestion on physiological metabolism, reaction time, and breath alcohol concentration after alcohol consumption For this study, seven male college students were divided into three groups as follows; alcohol consumption only (A(, water only (AW), and ion fluid consumption after the reaction time and recovery of breath alcohol concentration in AI(p<0.05). From this research, we could concluded that drinking ion fluid after alcohol consumption might draw positive effects on reaction time and recovery of the breath alcohol concentration. On the basis of these results, it is useful to diminish the concentration of alcohol quickly in the body and keep the body`s balance with ion fluid consumption that contains carbohydrate and electrolyte.

Exercise increases the generation of oxygen free radical an lipid peroxidation. Polyphenol and vitamin C, E are known to prevent lipid peroxidation during exercise. Among the known polyphenol, the polyphenol extracted from Green tea as used has the similar effect of antioxidant. Therefore we examined the effects of polyphenol or vitamin complex(vitamin C+E) on antioxidants enzymes activities in rat (N=40). All rats were exercise training on the treadmill for 6weeks (25 m/sec for 1hour). They were administered 5% of polyphenol and 50㎎ of vitamin C+E before the exercise, during whole period of the experiment. Administration group (PA: polyphenol administration, VA; vitamin complex administration, PVA; polyphenol & vitmin complex administration) and theother group was administered the same amount of water at the same time point (CON). Oneway ANOVA was performed as the statistical analysis. This study analyzed whether oxidative stress could be relieved by taking polypheonl, non-enzymatic antioxidant and vitamin C and E complex during long running exercise. Long-term polyphenol administration made SOD increase in liver and the activation of SOD is higher in red muscle than in white muscle in gastrocnemius. Furthemore it;s imporatant to verifty the mechanism of antioxidase by non-enzymatic antioxidant about oxidative injury in case of exercise at the maximun as well as check the effect of antioxidant by the activity of GPX or catalase.
