Test in the development of vehicle consist of driving test and simulation test. The last one has many advantages. It can reduce time and cost during development, can overcome the spacial and environmental limitation, and can provides repeatabilities of similar experiments and various data. In these reason, the simulation test is used more for analysis and development of new vehicle. In this research the result of kinematic analysis on multi-axial simulator is compared with the simulated result using dynamic analysis program, ADAMS, and the maximum stress and strain are analyzed for the safety of link and specifications of optimal design using finite element method.<br/>
건전지 자동화 조립라인의 라벨링부의 Virtual Prototype 개발

Most of battery industries are growing explosively as a core strategy industry for the development of the semi-conductor, the LCD, and the mobile communication device. In this thesis, dynamic characteristics of the steel can labeling machine on the automatic cell assembly line are studied. Dynamic characteristic analysis consists of dynamic behavior analysis and finite element analysis and is necessary for effective design of machines. In the dynamic behavior analysis, the displacement, velocity, applied force and angular velocity of each components are simulated according to each part. In the FEA, stress analysis, mode analysis, and frequency analysis are performed for each part. The results of these simulations are used for the design specification investigation and compensation for optimal design of cell manufacturing line. Therefore, Virtual Engineering of the steel can labeling machine on the automatic cell assembly line systems are modeled and simulated. 3D motion behavior is visualized under real-operating condition on the computer window. Virtual Prototype make it possible to save time by identifying design problems early in development, cut cost by reducing making hardware prototype, and improve quality by quickly optimizing full-system performance. As the first step of CAE which integrates design, dynamic modeling using ADAMS and FEM analysis using NASTRAN are developed.
유한요소 모델링을 이용한 틸팅터릿 시스템의 진동특성해석

In multi-purpose lathe, the design of tilting turret slide system has an important and critical role to enhance accuracy of the machining process. Tilting turret unit is traveled by 3-axis slide systems. There is need to design this part very carefully. In this research, 3-axis sliding system with tilting turret unit is modeled by considering the element dividing, material proprties, and boundary conditions with PATRAN. Normal mode and frequency analysis of each structures such as saddle, careg, and turret are simulated by NASTRAN, for the purpose of developing the effective design. The results of mode analysis and frequency analysis are visualized with PATRAN, and the design mothod which can solve the resomance problem by eigenvalues and eigenvectors of each axis is developed as well.
