The occurrences of thyrotoxicosis in patients with myasthenia gravis have been reported before the knowledge of the pathogenesis of the two disease. Thytotoxicosis is known to occur in 3 to 6 percent of patients with myasthenia gravis and myasthenia gravis occurs in only a fraction of 1 percent of the thyrotoxic populatian. Myasthenia gravis is currently considered as a systemic autoimmune disorder of acetylcholine receptor and often presented with other autoimmune diseases such as SLE, Rheumatoid arthritis. We experienced a 18-year-old woman who presented with graves disease and isolated ocular myasthenia gravis. Chest CT didnot reveal enlarged thymus. The usual treatement of myasthenia gravis associated with thymtoxicosis consists of medical control of the thyrotoxicosis, then thymectomy and later subtotal thyroidectomy. Her ptosis and thyrotoxicosis have improved after the medicatian of anticholinesterase and propylthiourecil. A case of ocular myasthenia gravis with Gravesdisease was experienced, so we reported the case with a brief review of literature (J Kor Soc Endocrinol 13:252-257, 1998).

고유가 시대의 교통 수단과 도시민의 교통 문제 그리고 자동차 환경영향 문제 등으로 인해 지하철의 역할과 확충이 부각되고 있다. 본 연구는 지하철 대중화 요구에 따른 수요예측 기법과 설명변수를 분석하고, 이를 통해 지하철의 경영 환경에 효율적으로 대응함으로써 지하철 수요 확충의 정책적 기초 자료를 제공하는데 궁극적인 목적이 있다. 본 연구에서는 지방도시의 지하철을 중심으로 기존 노선의 수요예측 기법과 신설노선의 수송인원 예측을 위한 설명변수의 관계성을 분석하였다. 지방도시 지하철의 신설에 따른 수송인원 예측은 역의 수와 노선거리(㎞) 당 수송인원을 반응변수로 설정한다. 지하철의 수송 수요는 자기회귀오차모형에 따르며 계절추세가 반영되기 때문에 시계열분석모형으로 접근이 유효하다. 수요예측을 위한 경험적 관측치가 일정 기간 확보되지 않은 지방 지하철의 경우 대체 지표의 적용 가능성이 낮기 때문에 상수함수의 성격을 지닌다. 지하철 연장 노선과 설치 역의 수에 따른 장기적 수요예측은 지역 총인구 변수가 주요 설명요인으로 사용된다. 또한 지하철 수요예측에서 이상 기후, 교통체계 개편, 개통 효과 등은 불규칙 수요변동을 초래하는 이상 요인이다. 광주 지하철은 수도권과 부산지하철과의 분기별 주기와 상반된 반기별 계절주기 양상을 보이고 있으나 진폭은 상대적으로 큰 편이다. 또한 지하철 노선이 짧아 단순이동 수단 성격을 띠고 있어 경쟁력을 확보하기 위해서는 잠재수요를 끌어내는 지하철 노선의 확충이 요구된다. High oil price, heavy traffic and environmental problems caused by harmful waste gas come to urge the expansion of subway lines. The purpose of this study is to provide the basic data for expanding city’s subway lines. The subjects of the study were subway lines of local cities. Explanatory variables to anticipate the number of passengers who would use newly-built line were mainly verified. To anticipate the number of passengers who would use newly-built line, the approaches of time series analysis and multiple regression analysis were applied. And response variables were the number of stations and the distance of the line(㎞). As season affects the number of passengers, time series analysis should be applied. Compared to capital regions, local areas are greatly influenced by season. The most important factor of local subways is the population of the city. There is a close relationship among population, the number of stations and line distance, which are main factors to anticipate the demand. Mathematical function between population and season is clearly revealed. Outlier variables like climate change, reformation of traffic system and service effects are significantly discovered. Among all explanatory variables, one changeable factor is traffic system. Public transportation like subway can lead to decentralizing passengers of public transportation, which means that more passengers will use subways instead of other transit systems.

It concerns a comparative analysis of physical and sports activity of German's old people. this study is founded on a research on the study of old people, with 867 old people (m. 350 : f. 517), at Bonn University Institution, in order to be inquired of old people about the result of the physical and sports activity and of the desired sports form according to the age, sex, sportsman and non-active sportsman. It just turned out that way: 1. Because of retirement from the job and that is exactly why the maximum value of the range of sports activity is shown in the old aged between 60-70. The reduction of sports activity of the old aged over 70 can be explained by the avoidance of physical strain. 2. There's a relevant distinction between man and women: the physical activity by woman refers to housework and by man to sport and gardening. 3. The average of the regular sports activity is shown the old aged between 50-60 of ca. 17%, between 61-70 of 13% and aged over 70 of 6% 4. With regard to the desired sports form there's a relevant distinction between man and woman, in fact riding (37%m.) and gymnastics (61% f.) The general desired sports form, inclusive of man and woman is the swimming and hiking. 5. Gymnastics, dance, tennis, jogging and running are played in sports club or in a self organized organization. 6. As a result of the research on a desired sports form, there's no distinction between the age, but in contrast an relevant difference between sex.
