        건축교육헌장에 기초한 커뮤니티 디자인교육에 관한 연구

        Community design education has covered the worldview dimension of the collaborative courses for sustainability draws on the architectural expertise developed in a network of community projects and therefore case studies of design education by the collaborative project-based learning in terms of participants, students, teachers and architects, such as 'Learning By Design' for the K-12 comprehensive program in Massachusetts addresses how a local society can make its community sustainable by both design and education. To understand that community design and education can provide professional development in all levels of skills and knowledge across disciplines and opportunities for collaborative learning and problem-solving, this research consists of case studies of the community design education including social systems that assist in organizing the local educational program as well as promoting the programs with public awareness of the community. It covers the UNESCO-UIA agenda of the community design and education that is to enhance the physical environment relating to human interaction by developing innovative alternatives of existing community and contributing voluntarily to neighborhoods through design. As the community design collaborative of design professionals and users is a structural approach to assess design quality, the cases address how to set up the architectural program in order to share pro bono design service and provide high-quality design resources available for sustainable environment.

        도시표상체계의 동적 구성에 관한 연구

        본 연구에서는 도시의 사회물리적 인식구조체계를 정의하고 개념화하는 이론적 고찰을 통해 도시를 조직화하는 과정을 설명하고, 인식구조를 체계화하는 과정에서 개입되는 대상으로서 도시적 표상들에 대해 그 유형을 도출하게 된다. 이 유형에 따른 표상의 구성인자들은 인간척도와 도시척도에서 인식 가능한 표상체계를 형성하게 되며, 그 구성단위로서의 도시표상이 인식되는 위계구조를 도출하기 위해 도시검색에서 사용된 유형에 대한 빈도조사와 순차적 접근과정에서 근거리에 사용되는 대상과 원거리에 사용되는 대상의 속성들에 대해 통계적 조사를 통해 인식구조를 재해석하고자 한다. 이를 위해 주간 출퇴근 시간대의 유형과 주일 외출 시간대의 검색유형을 분석하여 일상에서의 표상과 여가를 위한 표상의 차이를 파악하고, 이를 도시표상체계로 재구성하고 궁극적으로 도시 인식구조를 논리회로로 정립하게 된다. 도시의 탐색구조를 제공하는 표상체계를 모형화하고, 주요인자를 정의하는 가설을 통해 현대까지 도시를 검색하는 도구로 사용되어온 도식화의 방법에서 동적인 검색과정이 단순히 이동경로를 재현하는 것이 아니라 도시공간의 인식논리를 개발하고 이를 통해 대도시의 이동회로를 효과적으로 재구성할 수 있는 도시표상체계의 이론적 기초자료를 제시함으로써, 이후 실용적 측면에서 실제 도시공간의 범주화와 도시개념의 영역화의 관점에서 동적인 도시공간의 표상적 검색 가능성을 제시한다. Redefining the urban representation-net consisting of hierarchical landmarks based on literature reviews, this research is not only to address the process of cognitive development in terms of urban remarks but also to draw the types of urban representations reflecting the sociophysical attributes. The sequential system of the cognitive contents provides sub-categorized components to integrate socio-physical information as dynamic index of statistical coalitions both in micro and macro levels of urban movement. The quintessential model of synchronized data-mining and critically interactive analysis that can formulate the ephemeral terms of ‘urban searches’ is designed to find the commuting patterns in weekly cycles in as well as the holiday activities so that the typological characteristics of urban representation-nets relating to the spatial and temporal circumstances have been examined in order to differentiate ‘the sociophysical remarks’ from the representative types as visual and analytical urban-nets.

        스마트 교육 커뮤니티 정보기반 도시재생

        This research is to analyze the public cases of information facilities in terms of central circulations in multi level volumes such as atrium or court which provide visual intervention between different spaces and physical connections such as bridges. Hunt Library design balances the understood pre-existing needs with the University`s emerging needs to create a forward-thinking learning environment. While clearly a contemporary structure within a traditional context of the NCSU campus, the Hunt Library provides a positive platform for influencing its surroundings. Both technical and programmatic innovations are celebrated as part of the learning experience and provide a versatile and stimulating environment for students. Public library as open spaces connecting to an interactive social domain over communities can provide variety of learning environments, or technology based labs. There are many cases of the public information spaces with dynamic networks where participants can play their roles in physical space as well as in the intellectual stimulation. In the research, new public projects provide typologies of information spaces with user oriented media. The research is to address a creative transition between the reading space and the experimental links of the integration of state-of-the-art technology is highly visible in the building`s design. The user-friendly browsing system that replaces the traditional browsing with the virtual shelves classified and archived by their form, is to reduce the storage space of the public library and it is to allow more space for collaborative learning. In addition to the intelligent robot of information storages, innovative features is the large-scale visualization space that supports team experiments to carry out collaborative online works and therefore the public library`s various programs is to provide visitors with more efficient participatory environment.

        근린단위 도시주거재생사업 유형

        Sustainable urban renewals seem equivalent to user-participatory remodeling of obsolete downtown as well as residential slums of cities since both central government and local bureaus agree to support the deteriorated parts of cities with national budgets and special building codes. The agenda of user-participatory schemes cooperated by experts and engineers including government officers is to give the public dwelling welfare so that people can stay their place whether they can"t afford to enhance their own built-environment. The ministry of land and transportation has designated urban renewals projects over the country in terms of five categories; residential community, commercial district, basic settlement infrastructure, local identity, and local facilitator program. The urban renewals initiated by habitants, experts and governments of the central and the local will encourage lots of insufficient districts to recover its own prosperity and therefore a procedure of the projects may make the public organize the holistic components to carry out the multi-dimensional achievement in terms of regional community and vernacular identity. There might be a conceptualized matrix as a typical set of urban renewal cases in terms of neighborhood units and central business districts in which any urban redevelopment project can be categorized according to its scale, participants, and identical issues covering local contexts such as tradition, culture, education, economy, industry, and community.

        커뮤니티 교육환경 활성화 방안에 관한 연구

        The research is to configure the diagram analysis of behavior patterns especially by means of global positioning devices carried by elementary students in Seoul and prove whether there are coherent factors between its members' personal boundary responding to their periodical learning and activities. The research is to focus on the coalition between the activities and the urban context in order to verify that the learning community is an social entity sharing life cycle, site coverage, and study program in terms of group proximity. The public territory based on the learning community consisting of teachers, students and parents can be traced by the boundary of its members' activities as well as the coverage of their participation in the programs provided by public and private institutions in the society. The statistical analysis on the angular distance produced by the personal devices indexing their pathway is to back up the theoretical hypotheses that the geographical adjacency in the local community can provides more probability of coincidential activity and therefore a member with broader circumcetance may have more chance to juxtapose his activity patterns with other's one. Similar algorithm reflecting the group proximity can be examined through the surveyed data so that the learning community is to characterize the group identity by sharing its cycle and context for the goal of interactive learning. The territories from analysing personal circulations provide a conceptual proximity of the community that reflects social patterns and activities in the socio-physical context.

        친환경 녹색건축 인증지원체계에 관한 연구

        Enhancing the design, construction and operation of green buildings, the potential environmental issues which consist of major categories such as sustainable site, water efficiency, energy and atmosphere, material and resources and environmental quality can be estimated on the criteria collaborated by professional accreditation. This study on design manual for green and low-carbon emission architecture addresses the innovative design platform corresponding to the global challenges of environmental issues such as sustainability and intelligent ecosystem. With the participation of professional communities and academia, the interactive meta-manual constitutes the development of a architectural society of leading research and industry to study the opportunities and challenges arising from economic development of design development, construction documentation, and facility management in terms of the fundamentals of the socio-physical hemisphere, such as climate change, green architecture, and environmental reform. The discourse springs from an integrated approach of decision-making, planning and implementation, empowered by information technology, that enables the mixing of economic considerations, effective management and enforcement strategies towards the exploration of promising sustainable environment with the due emphasis on community design and participation. The research envisions the united design code to encourage the use of participatory networks identifying the main constraints, opportunities and concerns covering the policy, planning and implementation of sustainable development for architectural design.

        도시주거재생사업의 교육시설 단위공동체 활용방안

        The School districts of Seoul has been designated as boundaries according to the number of students and schools in order to providing free public education service. As schools even in downtown areas are used to have vacant classrooms because of the decrease in students, they open to students from newly developed high density areas. In the situation, there are emerging risks especially for young children who should commute their schools on foot cross streets widen by new district plan. In a case of urban development, there should provide a certain portion of total floor area as community facility by urban codes but in general, the facility is too large to manage and operate within a site. Although rearranging public schools of K-12 in terms of urban housing renewal might be a risky approach that could take out local memories shared by society groups, it is quite a urgent issue to figure out inefficient operation of education resources such as vacant classrooms, remote commute, and poor education program originated from student decrease in local districts. This research consists of three main parts; the first, the typological development of community unit in proximity, the second, the analytical progress of community optimization for urban renewal, and the third, the five phases of education community relating to primitive coverage, social identity, interface circuits, feasible patterns, and spiritual enforcement.

        지역사회 생활기반 시설 스마트 복합화에 관한 연구

        As a case of urban restructuring programs for local community, this research provides a prototype of the Everyday-life Based Infrastructure(EBI) including local transportation services such as parking and car-sharing. In many cases of mixed-use complex, the main issues of local program or policy on regional neighborhood are to distribute more feasible functions to residents in terms of social welfare. Carrying out the EBI, it is requisite to finance the CIF(Community Infrastructure Fund) covering public equities that consists of non-PPP for the mixed-use public schools in service with local community residents; students, their parents, and neighbors as end-users. The CIF project relating to the Education Infrastructure(EI) can develop local schools of the K-12 as the EBI which can provide local residents with adjacent Community Complex(CC) facilities for their everyday activities of sports, education and cultures. The recent researches address that the mixed-use schools can be the main infrastructure organizing neighbors as a community over interactive programs. As growing people’s income and leisure, it is more desired to participate in adjacent facilities in terms of services so that an approach of how city governments, local district offices, district education offices or existing mixed-use schools collaborate in procedures as well as budgets relating to the project finance. As a replacement of the segmented private investment by SPCs for each project, the non-financial benefit public-private partnerships (non-PPP) initiatives over the BTL projects will provide better vehicles to be collaborated by government-community participatory with regards to the life-cycle of the project consstruction and operation.

        자기주도학습 교육환경기반에 관한 연구

        Hypothetically this research based on "Private High-school for Self-Motivated Learning(PHS)’ covers social issues of urban regeneration as well as community upgrade to analyze how to achieve a life-long education society in terms of active learning environment. The case study figures outthe geographical distribution of the PHSs whether the layout is user oriented within the boundary of each districts as well as it is convenient enough to access in terms of distance and commute. The case study of PHSs of 25 counties in Seoul intends to develop a prototype of idealistic education environment and infrastructure with the "openness" and "flexibility". Verifying the educational divide deepen in the existing PHS districts of Seoul, this case study is to manipulate statistical data of 2012 student census, 2012 school facility area of 3 categories of classroom & laboratory, administration & supports, and athletic & meetings. Additionally it reviewed the 2013 mean price of apartment of 25 counties and then concluded that the maximum distance between the PHS and the general high school is relatively indirectly proportioned to the mean price. According to the graphs addressing the correlation between commute distances and levels of apartment price, it seems clear that the low mean price of the Northern PHS district comparing with the Southern one have significant negative effects of commute distances and self-motivated learning spaces. Upgrading the educational environment of the PHS, first of all, it is necessary not only differentiating its educational environment from the other high schools to support customized programs, but also reinforcing the layout balance alleviating the educational divide.
