N/A To determine the role of bronchoscopy (FOB) in restaging of small cell lung cancer (SCLC) after at least 6 cycles of chemotherapy, we performed a prospective study from 1986 to 1988 in Seoul National University Hospital. Restaging was done 42 times in 38 patients with SCLC who showed no evidence of disease on chest X-ray. The results were as follows: 1) Of the 29 cases in whom FOB was done at the time of initial diagnosis, histologic or cytologic diagnosis of SCLC was made in 26cases(89.7%). 2) On restaging FOB, 18 cases showed a gross appearance suggestive of remnant tumor (mass or infiltration), of whom either bronchoscopic biopsy or cytology was positive in 8 cases (44.4%). Of the 24 cases without gross evidence of tumor, bronchoscopic biopsy or cytology at the original tumor site was positive in 2 cases(8.3%). 3) Retreatment was planned in 22 cases according to the results of restaging procedures, Of these 22 cases, 14 cases (67.6%) showed evidence of remnant tumor on restaging FOB, including 4cases in which remnant disease was detected only by FOB. In conclusion, FOB is mandatory in restaging of SCLC, and bronchoscopic biopsy and/or cytology should be done even if the gross appearance shows normal or only fibrotic changes. Also it is thought that bronchoscopic evaluation at the time of initial diagnosis is helpful for comparison on restaging.

가스분사반응기(Jet bubbling reactor)에서의 가스분사관의 최적 설계조건과 SO₂ 제거효율에 미치는 운전변수들의 영향을 검토하였다. 효과적인 기-액 접촉을 위한 가스분사관의 설계에 있어서 가장 중요한 인자는 Reynolds number로서 Reynolds number를 12,000 이상으로 하고 가스분사관과 가스분사구멍에서의 Reynolds number가 동일하게 되도록 가스분사관을 설계하는 것이 가스분사관 설계의 최적조건인 것으로 판단된다. △P, pH, 유입 SO₂농도, 석회석 입자크기등 공정의 운전변수 중에서 SO₂ 제거효율에 가장 큰 영향을 미치는 변수는 △P였으며 pH 4.0하에서 90% 이상의 SO₂ 제거효율을 얻기 위해서는 △P를 230mmAq 이상으로 유지시켜야 하였다. 실험결과 3.0 정도의 낮은 pH 하에서도 높은 SO₂ 제거효율이 얻어졌으며 이러한 이유는 강제산화에 의해 흡수액내의 HSO₃^- 이온이 SO₄^(2-) 이온으로 거의 완전한 산화가 일어나 흡수액 내의 SO₂ 평형분압이 매우 낮은 상태로 유지되었기 때문으로 생각된다. 또한 흡수액의 pH 5.0 이하의 조건에서는 SO₂ 흡수에 사용된 석회석의 입자크기에 관계없이 모두 99.5% 이상의 높은 석회석 이용률을 나타내었다. The optimum design conditions of gas sparger pipe and the effects of operating variables on SO₂ removal efficiency have been examined in Jet Bubbling Reactor. Geometry of gas sparger pipe of Jet Bubbling Reactor is a very important factor to obtain a effective gas-liquid contact. Test results revealed that Reynolds numbers at sparger and slot have to be kept greater than 12,000 identically at a given gas velocity. SO₂ removal efficiency was a function of △P, pH, inlet SO₂ concentration and particle size of limestone and was more sensitive to the change of △P than to the changes of others. The △P of at least 230mmAq must be maintained to acheive the above 90% SO₂ removal at pH of 4.0 which is considered as adequate operating pH. Higher SO₂ removal efficiency was obtained even at lower pH ranges, which resulted from the complete oxidation of the absorbed SO₂ to sulfates by adding air and consequently from the reduction of SO₂ equillibrium partial pressure in the gas-liquid interface. The 99.5% of the limestone utilization was attained in pH range from 3.0 to 5.0 with regardless to the particle size of limestone employed.

We report a case of epidermolysis bullosa acquisita in a 53 year-old woman who had. extreme skin fragility, trauma induced blisters and erosions usually localized to extensor site of the skin surface, and healing with scars and milia for several years. Histologic findings of perilesional skin showed normal epidermis, subepid malblister and spirsely infiltration of inflarnmatory cells. Direct immuncofluorescence showed depositiori of IgCi and C3 in a linear pattern along the epidermal basement, membrane in the per ilesional skin. In indirect immuriofluorescence, using 1.0M sodium chloride separated nor mal human skin as the sntbstrate, antitodies(IgG at a titer of 1:40) were bound to dermal site of the separation, indicating that the patient serum yields the reaction in or below the lamiria densa. Electronmicroscopic findings showed the roof of the blister was located. below the basal lamiria.

The purpose of this study is to find out the adequate amount of warming-up prior to doing endurance exercises. The sample students were 40(male;18, female;22) selected randomly from In-Ha university. The method used for warming-up was P.T (Physical Training) gymnastic. The intensity of warming-up was 30 times of P.T per minute. The whole group was devided into four sub-group. Three of them were used for experimental purpose, and the fourth one was the controlled group. The program implemented is as follow : Group #1 was given 3-min. warming-up for male samples and 1-min. warming-up for female. Group #2 was given 4-min. warming-up for male samples and 2min. warming-up for female. Group #3 was gives 5-min. warming-up for male samples and 3-min. warming-up for female. Control group was given no warming up for male and female samples. Harvard Step Test was used for measuring their endurance abilities. Heart Checker 108 System made by Senho in Japan was used for measuring heart rate period during P.T gymnastics for warming-up and Harvard Step Test, To analyze the mean differences among four groups t-test and ANOVA were used. The results are presented below; 1. The effect of P.T gymnastics for warming-up proves to be positive in doing endurance exercise. 2. The adequate amount of warming-up using P.T gymnastics is 4 minutes in case of male and 1 or 2 minutes for female.

The purpose of this study is to know the high school athletes' Psychological Skills for sport. The subjects chosen to be used for this study were 140,100 male and 40female and additional 988 players randomly selected, 591 male and 397 female. To estimate it, PSIS(Korean Edition)was used and six items were tested, which were Anxiety, Concentration, Mental-Preparation, Team-Emphasis, Motivation, and Confidence. The raw data changed T-score in mean and standard deviation. The response-reliability was tested by means of SPSSX' reliability. ONEWAY ANOVA was used to get mean difference between athletes and the other players. The important findings are indicated below: 1. The athletes shows the low score in the categories of anxiety, concentration and team-emphasis. 2. No significant mean difference is found in the terms like mental preparation, confidence and motivation. 3. Note subjects get higher scores in motivation item, but no significant mean difference is found in the other items.
