The perciform suborder Labroidei comprising six families (Cichlidae, Embiotocidae, Pomacentridae, Labridae, Odacidae, and Scaridae) are characterized by having the specialized pharyngeal jaws for food processing, i.e., united fifth ceratobranchials and upper pharyngeal jaw articulating with the basicranium via diarthroses (Stiassny and Jensen, 1987). They usually inhabit in the most tropical and subtropical seas and comprise about 235 genera and roughly 2,274 species worldwide (Nelson, 2006). Concerning the Korean labroid fishes, Mori (1952) had listed 18 genera and 26 species belong to four families in his check list of Korean fishes since Jordan and Metz (1913) firstly reported six genera and seven species in only two families (Embiotocidae and Labridae). Chyung (1977) added two species, Tilapia mossambica and Cirrhilabrus temmincki, to Mori’s list and also classified them into three suborders, i.e., Embiotocina (containing only Embiotocidae), Pomacentrina (Cichlidae and Pomacentridae), and Labrina (Labridae and Scaridae). Subsequently, Lee and Kim (1996) reviewed the Korean labroidfishes taxonomically resulting in 22 genera and 32 species in five families with some taxonomical modifications including a new Korean record. It is remarkable to be added many new Korean recordsto the pomacentrids or the labrids for recent 10 years (Koh et al., 1995; Yoo et al., 1995; Koh et al., 1997; Myoung, 1997; Choi and Kim, 2000; Choi et al., 2002; Kim and Go, 2003). Recently, Kim et al. (2005) briefly described all members of the Korean Labroidei with a color photograph or a figure, recognizing 27 genera and 42 species in five families. In the present study, the current taxonomical status of the Korean labroid fishes including distributional features is summarized based both on specimens collected from the Korean waters and on literature survey to provide bio-information of the Korean native fish species. As a result, the Korean labroid fishes totally consist of 27 genera and 44 species in five families, that is, Cichlidae (1 species), Embiotocidae (3), Pomacentridae (15), Labridae (22), and Scaridae (2). They distributed mainly in the coastal waters of the South Sea, Korea, however, most pomacentrids or labrids occur in the coastal waters of Jeju Island only, although some species were observed in their larval or juvenile stages only from coastal waters of the island. Interestingly, several species are expanding their distribution north to Ulreung and Dok islands in the East Sea, Korea lately.

서번트 리더십이 안전 행동에 미치는 영향: 심리적 안전감의 매개 효과 및 조망 수용의 조절 효과

본 연구에서는 서번트 리더십이 안전 행동에 어떤 영향을 미치는지 살펴보았을 뿐만 아니라, 이 두 변인 사이의 작동 기제, 즉 매개 변인 및 조절 변인에 대해 탐색하였다. 이를 위해 본 연구에서는 서번트 리더십과 안전 행동 사이에서 구성원들의 심리적 안전감이 매개할 것이며, 이에 더해 이들의 관점 수용 능력이 서번트 리더십과 심리적 안전감 사이를 조절할 것이라는 가설을 설정하였다. 이를 실증적으로 검증하고자, 국내 기업에 재직 중인 235명의 직원들로부터 세 시점에 걸쳐서 수집한 설문 조사 자료를 활용하여 구조 방정식 모형 분석을 실시했다. 분석 결과, 서번트 리더십은 직원들의 심리적 안전감을 매개로 안전 행동을 향상시켰다. 이에 더해서, 관점 수용 능력은 서번트 리더십이 심리적 안전감에 미치는 긍정적 영향력을 증폭시켰다. The current paper not only investigates the intermediating process of the association between servant leadership and safety behavior, but also tries to find a factor which enhances the positive influence of servant leadership. To do that, this study tried to identify the mediating effect of employee's psychological safety between servant leadership and safety behavior, as well as the moderating influence of perspective taking ability in the servant leadership-psychological safety link. By utilizing 3 wave survey data from 235 employees in Korean companies with conducting structural equation modeling(SEM), this paper found that servant leadership had a positive influence on safety behavior through mediating effect of employee's psychological safety. In addition, the perspective taking ability positively moderated the positive impact of servant leadership on psychological safety.

슬관절 수지상지방종 - 1례 보고 -

Lipoma arborescens is a rare disease, characterized by an intraarticular fatty villo- nodular proliferation, which causes the pain, effusion and swelling of' the affected joint, alrnost always found in theknee. Stout defined it as a collection of fat beneath the synovial lining forming swollen villous projections. The gross appearance resembles diffuse pigmentless villonodular synovitis. There are two deviations, one posttraumatic and one of natural evolution. The etiology is still undetermined and it has been called a beriign tumor, a tubercu- lous infection, a sequela of trauma, ana a generalized systemic chronic synovitis. The authors have experienced and report a case ot this disease, involved the left side knee joint, that has never been reported in Korea previously.

The femur fracture after hip arthroplasty is rare, but serious complication. So, its treatment is difficult and controversial. Nonunion and loosening of hip arthroplasty are common at this problem and badly affected to hip joint function. We have experienced 3 cases with Dall-Miles cable grip system at femur fracture after hip arthroplasty. Dall-Miles cable grip system provides rigid fixation including greater trochanter. The results was good at early experience and necessary to long term follow up.

Internal bone Transport 를 이용한 장관골의 감염성 불유합의 치료

Infected nonunion of long bone frequently accompanies with bone loss, because of the outcome of initial trauma or iatrogenic result from sequestra resection. In this study, infected and ununited long bone fracture was treated with internal bone transport technique which was first discribed by G.A. Ilizarov. There were eleven tibial and two femural nonunion. The mean number of admission was 2.8 times; mean number of operation was 8 times; mean duration of treatment was 16.5 Mo; 8.5cm of mean defect was lengthened during the mean of 136 days, and average healing index was 1.95 month/cm. All infections were cured and all nonunions were united. Functional result was excellent in 5 cases (of 13 cases), good in 5, fair in 2, and 1 had poor result. Many complication had been observed. All had infection of pin site and pain at least one time, 5 had stiff knee, 9 had stiff ankle, early consolidation(1), delay consolidation(3), tibiofivular synostosis(5), nerve injury(1), refracture after union(l), angular deformity over 5 degree(7), rotational deformity over 10 degree(2).

Of the several nonoperative and operative options described for the treatment of delayed union and nonunion of the long bone, interlocking nailing with reaming offers the effect of internal splint, autogenous bone graft and early return to a normal way of life. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the usefulness and complication of intramedullary(IM) naling with reaming by retrospective method. We treated 34 patients with delayed union or nonunion of the tibia, femur, and humerus by interlocking nailing with reaming between January 1992 and December 1996. The results were as follows; l. Of the 34 cases, there were 13 tibia fracture, 17 femur fracture, 4 humerus fracture. Half of them were ununited and another half were delayed in fracture healing. 2. Previous methods of treatment were conservative treatment in 2 cases, external fixator in 2, plate & screws fixation in 8, Ender nail in 2, Kuntscher nail in 2 and interlocking nail in 7 among 24 cases of closed fracture and external fixator in 8 and interlocking nail in 2 among 10 cases of open fracture. 3. Twenty-five patients were treated with closed nailing and 9 were treated with open nailing. Iliac bone graft was performed at 3 cases and fibulotomy was performed at I case. 4. Union was obtained in 33 cases and 1 case needed additional bone grafting to achieve union. 5. Postoperative complications were one nonunion, two entry site pain, one screw breakage, one heterotopic ossification, and one postoperative infection. Interlocking nailing with reaming was associated with a high union rate(97%) in our series. The authors believe that IM nailing with reaming is a useful option for treatment of delayed or nonunion of the long bone fracture.

교합성금속정을 이용한 상완골 간부골절의 치료

The ideal treatment for humeral shaft fractures has been a topic of discussion for long times. Conventionally conservative methods like hanging arm cast, coaptation splint and functional brace were used. The operative treatment included plate and screws, intramedullary rods were used. The many known advantage of interlocking nails used in femur and tibia fractures were recently applied to humeral shaft fracture. Among them Seidel nail developed by Dr, Seidel in 1989 was inserted by splitting the rotator cuff and distal locking by expanding the distal tip of the nail through a long screw driver. This study is a preliminary report of first l0 cases of humeral shaft fracture which was internally fixed with Seidel nail during the period of September 1992 to September 1993. The findings are as follows. 1, 9 out of 10 cases(90%) achieved union. 2. Average union time was 10 weeks. 3. According to Neer's shoulder functional score, 8 patients(80%) achieved either satisfactory or excellent shoulder function postoperatively. 4. 2 complications occurred. One nonunion and one distal fixation failure. Since fixation of humeral shaft fracture, by Seidel nail can achieve high uruon rate and good shoulder function, it should be considered as one of many methods to treat humeral shaft fracture.
