        교통 빅데이터를 이용한 전국 도로 안전성능함수 및 안전등급 개발 연구

        The purpose of this study was two-fold; first, to develop safety performance functions (SPF) using transportation-related big data for all types of roads in Korea were developed, Second, to provide basic information to develop measures for relatively dangerous roads by evaluating the safety grade for various roads based on it. The coordinates of traffic accident data are used to match roads across the country based on the national standard node and link system. As independent variables, this study effort uses link length, the number of traffic volume data from ViewT established by the Korea Transport Research Institute, and the number of dangerous driving behaviors based on the digital tachograph system installed on commercial vehicles. Based on the methodology and result of analysis used in this study, it is expected that the transportation safety improvement projects can be properly selected, and the effects can be clearly monitored and quantified. 본 연구는 우리나라 전체 도로 유형을 대상으로 빅데이터를 이용하여 안전성능함수(safety performance function, SPF)를 개발하고, 그것을 바탕으로 다양한 도로에 대한 안전등급을 평가함으로써 상대적으로 위험한 도로에 대한 대책을 수립할 수 있는 기초 정보를 제공하고자 하였다. 교통사고 자료를 국가표준 노드 및 링크 체계를 기반으로 전국의 도로에 매칭 하여 종속변수로 활용하였으며, 독립변수로 링크 길이, 차로 수 등 기하구조 자료 및 한국교통연구원의ViewT 교통량 자료, 그리고 사업용 차량에 장착된 운행기록계를 통한 위험운전행동 건수를 활용한 4개 시스템의 교통 빅데이터를 활용하여 연구를 진행하여 7개 도로 유형별 안전성능함수를 개발하고, 개발된 안전성능함수를 활용하여 도로유형별로 A, B, C, D 네 개의 안전등급을평가하였다. 본 연구에서 사용한 방법론과 분석 결과를 토대로 우리나라의 위험도로를 선정하였다. 도출된 결과를 바탕으로 교통안전 개선사업의 대상을 선정하고 그에 따른 효과 등을 모니터링하고 계량화할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

        ISO 제동시험기 실증운영을 통한 제동력 검출 특성에 관한 연구

        According to DEKRA (a Germany Certification and Inspection Agency)’s accident rate analysis by vehicle defect factor, as a result of analysis of the causes of accidents by flaws, it was found that braking devices accounted for 41%. Defects in the braking system are closely related to the accident, so it is very important to find faulty brking systems to ensure safety. The EU and USA uses ISO brake tester and the Korea is brake teater is first introduse in Japan for vehicle inspection and maintanance. KOTSA introduce the ISO brake tester in order to promote the advanced standardization of the inspection equipment and inspection tecnology, and examined the detection characteristics and applied it to the improvement direction of the brake tester to secure the driving safety.

        고속버스 통행시간 예측의 정확도 제고를 위한 입력자료 분석기간 선정 연구

        PURPOSES : The travel times of expressway buses have been estimated using the travel time data between entrance tollgates and exit tollgates, which are produced by the Toll Collections System (TCS). However, the travel time data from TCS has a few critical problems. For example, the travel time data include the travel times of trucks as well as those of buses. Therefore, the travel time estimation of expressway buses using TCS data may be implicitly and explicitly incorrect. The goal of this study is to improve the accuracy of the expressway bus travel time estimation using DSRC-based travel time by identifying the appropriate analysis period of input data. METHODS : All expressway buses are equipped with the Hi-Pass transponders so that the travel times of only expressway buses can be extracted now using DSRC. Thus, this study analyzed the operational characteristics as well as travel time patterns of the expressway buses operating between Seoul and Dajeon. And then, this study determined the most appropriate analysis period of input data for the expressway bus travel time estimation model in order to improve the accuracy of the model. RESULTS: As a result of feasibility analysis according to the analysis period, overall MAPE values were found to be similar. However, the MAPE values of the cases using similar volume patterns outperformed other cases. CONCLUSIONS: The best input period was that of the case which uses the travel time pattern of the days whose total expressway traffic volumes are similar to that of one day before the day during which the travel times of expressway buses must be estimated.

      • Open Stub를 이용한 브랜치 라인 커플러 설계

        In this paper, we propose a branch line coupler using open stub. The conventional branch line coupler needs large area due to the structural characteristic. In order to solve this problem, we convert distributed elements to lumped elements, and the inductor in the lumped elements is analyzed as the distributed elements, reducing the 90 degree of electrical length as 45 degree. The area of the proposed branch line coupler is decreased to 56% as the capacitor is realized as open stub. The compact branch line coupler is confirmed by fabrication, and the measurement result of it is similar to that of the conventional branch line coupler.

        도로용량편람 신호교차로 성능지표 분석을 위한 차로군 분류의 적정성 평가

        도로용량편람에서 제시하는 서비스수준은 새로운 교통시설 설치 또는 기존 시설 확장에 근거로 사용되고 있다. 신호교차로 서비스수준 분석은 다섯 단계로 진행되는데 그 중 3단계는 차로군 분류 단계이다. 이 단계에서 분류된 차로군으로 연속적인 분석을 진행하기 때문에 서비스수준 분석 시 중요한 요소 중 하나이다. 하지만 본 연구에서 분석한 결과 회전교통량이 적은 경우에도 불구하고 실질적 전용회전차로군으로 분류되는 점을 발견하였다. 이러한 문제점에 대한 대안으로 USHCM의 차로군 분류 방법을 차용하는 방법, 공용차로 당 회전별 교통량 비율을 사용하는 방법 그리고 기준 회전교통량 이하인 경우 통합차로군으로 분류하는 방법 세 가지를 제시하였고 정산한 CORSIM 시뮬레이션과 비교해보았다. 본 논문에서는 각각 방법의 결과 및 한계점을 제시하였고 추후 다양한 네트워크에 대하여 연구가 필요하다는 결론을 내렸다. The level of service (LOS) of the Highway Capacity Manual (KHCM) has been used as a basic criterion at decision making processes for signalized intersections in Korea. The KHCM provides five steps for the signalized intersection analysis. Among them, lane grouping, which is the third step, significantly influence the final LOS. The current method presented in the KHCM, however, classifies a shared lane as a de facto turning lane group, even though the turning traffic of the shared lane is few. Thus, this research was initiated to provide an alternative. To this end, three alternatives were suggested, including the method based on the lane grouping presented in the U.S. Highway Capacity Manual, the method using turning ratio of shared turning lane, and the method using a threshold traffic volume in lane grouping. The feasibilities of the three methods were evaluated using a calibrated CORSIM model. Conclusively, the method using a threshold traffic volume in lane grouping outperformed.
