        자동차 패널 자동창고 시스템의 PLC 시뮬레이션 적용 연구

        This paper illustrates a case study of PLC logic simulation in a car manufacturing system. It was developed to simulate and verify PLC control program for automobile panel AS/RS. Because car models become varied, the complexity of supply problem is increasing in the car manufacturing system. To cope with this problem, companies use the AS (automated storage) and RS (retrieval system) but it has logical complexity. Industrial automated process uses PLC code to control the AS/RS, however control information and control codes (PLC code) are difficult to understand. This paper suggests a PLC simulation environment, using 3D models and PLC code with realistic data. Data used in this simulation is based on realistic 3D model and I/O model, using actual size and PLC signals, respectively. The environment is similar to a real factory; users can verify and test the PLC code using this simulation before the implementation of AS/RS. Proposed simulation environment can be used for test run of AS/RS to reduce implementation time and cost.

        PLC 기반 제어정보 모델링 방법론

        Because a product in the car industry has a short life cycle in recent years, the process planning and the manufacturing lines have to be changed frequently. Most of time, repositioning an existing facility and modifying used control information are faster than making completely new process planning. However, control information and control code such as PLC code are difficult to understand. Hence, industries prefer writing a new control code instead of using the existing complex one. It shows the lack of information reusability in the existing process planning. As a result, to reduce this redundancy and lack of reusability, we propose a SOS-Net modeling method. SOS-Net is a standard methodology used to describe control information. It is based on the Device Structure which consists of sensor information derived from device hardware information. Thus, SOS-Net can describe a real control state for automated manufacturing systems. The SOS-Net model is easy to understand and can be converted into PLC Code easily. It also enables to modify control information, thus increases the reusability of the new process planning. Proposed model in this paper plays an intermediary role between the process planning and PLC code generation. It can reduce the process planning and implementation time as well as cost.

        스트레인게이지 형식 연신율계 센서의 성능 특성

        스트레인게이지를 이용한 연신율계의 측정정밀도를 개선하기 위해서는 센서의 재질과 형상에 따라 시료의 변형에 대한 센서부 변형의 비선형성, 반복성이 중요하다. 이를 위해 이론과 유한요소법을 사용하여 시료의 변형에 따라 센서의 측정성능을 예측할 수 있는 이론식을 유도하였다. 측정실험에 의하여 연신율계 내부의 수감부에 대한 이론에 근거하여 예측한 이론 출력값과 실험값을 비교하였고 결과의 유사성을 확인하였다. 이를 위해 자체 제작한 1/1000 ㎜급 다이얼게이지가 부착된 연신율계 교정기를 사용하였다. In order to improve the measurement accuracy of the displacement sensor in an extensometer, the displacement measuring gauge using strain gauge, a non-linearity and a repeatability of the sensing element according to a deformation of specimen are important. In this study, a theoretical equation to estimate the measurement performance is obtained through theoretical and finite element analysis. It was confirmed that the measuring values and tendency obtained experimentally were similar to those by the theoretical equation which was induced for the sensor inside the extensometer. A self-made extensometer calibrator with a dialgauge of 1/1000 ㎜ accuracy was used to obtain experimental output.

        3D JIG 모델의 Kinematic 템플릿 생성 방법론

        Proposed in the paper is a methodology to generate kinematic template for 3D JIG models. Recently, according to increase of the rate of automatic facility in manufacturing system, the 3D manufacturing and verification research and development have been issued. So, unlike in the past, moving 3D facilities are very various like JIGs, turn table, AS/RS worked in the automated manufacturing industry. Because 3D mesh models are used in these kinds of 3D simulation, users have to define the kinematic information manually. This 3D mesh data doesn’t have parametric information and design history of the 3D model unlike the design level data. So, it is lighter than 3D design level data and more efficient to render on the 3D virtual manufacturing environment. But, when user wants to find a common axis located between the links, the parameter information of the model has to reconstruct for defining kinematic construction. It takes a long time and very repetitive to define an axis and makes a joint using 3D mesh data and it is non-intuitive task for user. This paper proposed template model that provides kinematic information of the JIG. This model is kinds of a state diagram to describe a relation between links. So, this model can be used for a kinematic template to the JIG which has a same mechanism. The template model has to be registered in the template library to use in the future, after user made the model of the specific type of the 3D JIG model.

        자동차 공정 시뮬레이션의 3D 지그 키네마틱 정보 모델링을 위한 효율적 방법 연구

        Because of the fast changing car design and increasing facilities, manufacturing process of cars is getting more complex now a days. Particularly, car manufacturing system that consist of automated devices, applies various simulation techniques to validate device motion and detect collision. To cope with this problem, traditional manufacturing system deployed test-run with the real devices. However, increased computing power in a contemporary manufacturing system changes it into realistic 3D simulation environment. Similarly, managed device data that was generated using 2D traditionally, can be converted to 3D realistic simulation. The existing problem with 3D simulation is disjoint data interaction between different work stations. Consequently, JIGs, fixing the car part accurately, are changed according to fixing position on the part or a part shape properties. In practice, the 3D JIG data has to be managed according to kinematic information, but not of its features. However, generating kinematic information to the 3D model repeatedly according to frequent change in part is not explained in current literatures. To fill this knowledge gap, this paper suggests an improving method of rendering 3D JIG kinematics information to simulation model. Thereafter, it shows the result of implementation.

        스트레인게이지를 이용한 연신률 측정 정밀도 개선 연구

        본 연구는 스트레인게이지를 이용한 연신률계를 연구하여 측정 정밀도 개선을 위한 고정밀도 센서를 개발하는 것이다. 연신률계는 시료에 직접 고정시켜 재료의 변위를 측정하기 위하여 사용되며, 변위에 따른 수감부의 변형을 예측하여 수감부의 형태에 따라 변형의 직진성을 파악하는 것이 중요하다. 이를 위해 이론과 유한요소법을 사용하여 수감부의 변형 거동을 예측하였다. 그리고 장착의 편리성을 고려하여 토션 스프링을 제작하여 부착하였으며 소성경은 굵기에 따른 시험을 실시하여 최적의 조건인 2mm로 하였다. 본 연구는 극고온에서 사용할 수 있는 연신률계를 비롯한 다양한 제품을 개발하는 바탕이 될 수 있다. This paper is to develop the high-definition sensor by improving the measurement accuracy of extensometer using strain gauge. Elongation measurement gauges aim to measure displacements by fixing directly to specimen. And it is important that we preestimate the deformation of the sensing element according to the deformation of measure object and obtain the linearity of each deformations. For this, the deformation behavior of the sensing element was obtained through the theory and finite element analysis. Considering an easy installation, a torsion spring of Φ2 was decided on the basis of test results for various thickness. And on the basis of technologies accumulated in this research, the further development of extensometers to be used on a variety of conditions such as extremely high temperature will be available.

      • 스트레인게이지형 연신률계 센서의 측정정밀도에 대한 실험적/해석적인 연구

        This paper is to study of the measuring accuracy of the displacement sensor in extensometer, the displacement extension gauge, using strain gauge. Elongation measurement gauges aim to measure displacements by fixing directly to specimen. So it is important that we preestimate the relation of the deformation of the sensing element according to the deformation of specimen and obtain the linearity between the two deformations. For this, the deformation behavior of the displacement sensor was obtained through the theory and finite element analysis. It was confirmed that the measuring deformation values and tendency obtained experimentally were similar to those by the theoretical equation that was induced for the sensor inside the extensometer. A self-made calibration instrument with a dialgage 1/1000 mm was used to evaluate the accuracy. Results obtained in this research will be available on development of extensometer for the various uses such as the extremely high temperature and the high accuracy.
