시멘트 생산과 같이 막대한 에너지를 소비하는 산업에서는 여전히 석탄 등의 화석연료를 사용한다. 그러나 화석연료의 사용은 에너지 비용의 증가와 제조 원가의 불안정성을 초래하고, 이산화탄소의 배출량을 증가시켜 환경에 미치는 영향이 크다. 온실가스 감축과 자원순환을 위하여 폐기물과 같은 폐자원의 에너지화에 대한 연구가 진행되고 있으나 기술의 상용화는 여전히 제한적이다. 본 연구에서는 폐기물 대체연료의 발열량 및 처리 용량 향상을 위한 연소로 시스템의 설계 및 공정 조건을 도출하기 위해 CFD 기반의 ANSYS-FLUENT를 활용하여 연소로 크기 및 플라즈마 주입 각도 변화에 따른 내부 열유동 특성을 분석하였다.
Study on the Value-Added Carbon Products from Methane Pyrolysis with the Thermal Plasma Process

Methane pyrolysis using plasma has recently attracted considerable attention. This method is eco-friendly and produces hydrogen and solid carbon black without producing carbon dioxide. However, it requires high energy to generate the plasma, making it economically ineffective. However, its economic feasibility can be secured using the by-products generated from methane pyrolysis as high-value materials. In this study, methane pyrolysis via thermal plasma and annealing was performed at 500−1,000 ∘C to improve the properties of the by-products. The synthesized carbon black was nano-sized with an amorphous structure and its performance as a conductive material in batteries was analyzed. As a result, the specific surface area and electrical conductivity were improved to 45.87 m2/g and 6.5 S/cm, respectively, when carbon black was annealed at 1,000 ∘C. Moreover, when used as a battery conductive material, the capacity was measured to be 320 mAh/g, which is comparable to that of Super-P, a commercial material. Finally, the annealing of carbon black by methane pyrolysis confirmed that its properties are similar to those of commercial carbon black and it could be applied as a conductive material for batteries.

This paper study the squeeze casting characteristics of Al alloy reinforced with 15 volume percent silicon carbide particles. Filling behaviour and the solidification process are presented. The mold temperatures are 200℃ and 300℃. The applied pressures are 70 and 130㎫. They are solved through a heat and fluid simulation software package(MAGMA). Viscous flow and solidification in squeeze casting are analyzed according to the applied pressure, filling time. and mold temperature. The numerical results are used to predict the inner defects and the influence on the microstructure of the squeeze casting.

This is a study on the difference between herbal formulations cited in Dongeuibogam and their original Chinese texts. We focused on the changes of herbal formulations from their original Chinese texts in the course of compilation of Dongeuibogam. We searched for the reason of this change on various aspects. Our findings confirmed the need for further studies in this field Through this study, we concluded that the changes between the original Chinese texts and Dongeuibogam are a consequent phenomena of historical progression. Support structures are used to support a component during building process and must be removed once the building is complete. For precise building this paper specified types of support structures by means of geometry characteristics. They are point, line and area. And found a new algorithm for detecting geometries which need support structures. For easy of removing support structure teeth profile generation and interferences avoidance algorithm was studied.

PURPOSE: This study investigated the effect of a head-mounted display (HMD) based virtual reality (VR) cognitive rehabilitation program on the cognitive ability and activities of daily living in patients with mild cognitive impairment. METHODS: This study enrolled 5 mild cognitive impairment patients at the G welfare center in Gwangju metropolitan city. Patients were examined using the MMSEDS (Mini mental state examination-dementia screening). The VR cognitive rehabilitation program was applied twice a week for four weeks. The functional independence measure (FIM) and Loewenstein occupational therapy cognitive assessment-geriatric population (LOTCA-G) were compared before and after applying the VR cognitive rehabilitation program. RESULTS: Subsequent of application of the VR cognitive rehabilitation program, significant increase was observed in the LOTCA-G score. The FIM score was also perceived to increase, after the intervention, but was not statistically significant. CONCLUSION: Application of the VR cognitive rehabilitation program as a therapy is effective in improving the visual perception, and upper extremity executive ability, especially orientation, thinking organization, attention, and concentration.

A simply supported beam subjected to a uniformly distributed tangential follower force and the two successively moving spring-mass systems upon it constitute this vibration system. The influences of the velocities of the moving spring-mass system, the distance between two successively moving spring-mass systems and the uniformly distributed tangential follower force have been studied on the dynamic behavior of a simply supported beam by numerical method. The uniformly distributed tangential follower force is considered within its critical value of a simply supported beam without two successively moving spring-mass systems, and three kinds of constant velocities and constant initial displacement of two successively moving spring-mass systems are also chosen. Their coupling effects on the transverse vibration of the simply supported beam are inspected too. In this study the simply supported beam is deflected with small vibration proportional to natural frequency of the moving spring-mass systems. According to the increasing of initial displacement of the moving spring-mass systems the amplitude of the small vibration of the simply supported beam is increased due to the spring force. The velocity of the moving spring-mass system more affect on the transverse deflection of simply supported beam than other factors of the system and the effect is dominant at high velocity of the moving spring-mass systems.
