LiTaO₃ 단결정내 물리적 성질의 저주파수 특성

실온에서 1000°C까지 온도 영역과 100 Hz에서 10 MHz까지의 주파수 영역에서 LiTaO₃ 단결정 내 물리적 성질들의 주파수 의존성을 연구하였다. 이때 사용된 물리적 인자들은 복소유전율 ε^(*)(ω). 복소임피던스 Z^(*)(ω), 복소전기전도도 σ^(*)(ω)였다. 실험에서 얻어진 자료들을 가지고 결정내의 물리적 인자들에 대한 주파수 의존성 및 일반적으로 만족시키는 주파수의 지수 인자인 n에 대하여 설명하였다. 이러한 실험 자료들은 이론식에 잘 부합됨을 알 수가 있었다. 또한 이러한 주파수 의존성을 갖는 여러 인자들의 물리적 의미를 제안하여 보았다. Low-frequency physical properties of LiTaO₃single crystals carried out as a function of frequency range from 100 Hz to 10 MHz at temperature range from room temperature to 1000℃. The using factors were the complex dielectric permittivity ε^{*}(ω), the complex impedance Z^{*}(ω) and the electrical conductivity σ^{*}(ω). With a measured data, we showed the logarithmic plots of their frequency-dependent properties and the exponent factor n of "universal" character. The measured data agreed with the results of theorical fitting. We estimated the physical meaning of each factor with frequency dependency.

LiNbO₃ 섬유 단결정의 분극에 관한 연구

Congruent or stoichiometric LiNbO₃ fiber single crystals were grown by the µ-PD method, and the grown fiber crystals have the several (2 or 3) ridges with a diameter of 1.35~1.5 mm and a length of 40~100 mm. In this µ-PD process, different growth rates (10~60 mm/h) were applied. Pt wire or LiNbO₃ crystal was used as a seed. The properties of grown LiNbO₃ fiber single crystals having a-axis or c-axis according to seeds were effected by the grown conditions(Pt tube diameter, pulling speed, after heater etc.). Disk-type LiNbO₃ samples were poled in condition of DC 5 V/cm at 1050, 1075 or 1100℃. XRD, SEM, conoscope image through the polarized microscope, TC measuring apparatus, optical transmittance measuring instrument are used to identify the properties of LiNbO₃.

멀티모달 AI를 활용한 안심 귀가 서비스제안

오늘날 1인 가구의 비중이 전 세계적으로 증가하고 있는 추세이며, 우리나라의 1인 가구 중 여성이 차지하고 있는 비중도 역시 증가하고 있다. 그와 동시에 1인 가구 및 여성을 상대로 한 범죄 비율도 높아지고 있어 정부 및 지자체에서 안심 귀갓길 등 여러 정책을 시행 중이지만 인력 및 예산 문제, 지역적 차등 서비스 등의 이유로 효과 및 만족도가 부족한 실정이다. 이에 본 연구에서는 현재의 안심귀가 서비스의 문제점과 사용자들이 느끼는 안정감 증가, 불안감 해소를 위해 문제점들을 정의하고 멀티 모달 AI를 활용하여 언제든지 사용할 수 있는 안심귀가 서비스를 제안할 수 있는 접점을 탐색하고자 한다. 사용자들이 느끼는 불안감을 느끼는 요소 및 안정감을 느끼는 요소를 인터뷰 및 설문조사를 통해 수집하고 군집분석을 진행하여 페르소나를 도출하고, 사용자 시나리오 작성을 통해 페인 포인트를 정의했다.이를 통하여 각 각 페인 포인트에 대한 솔루션을 테마별로 도출하여 프로토타입을 제작했다.해당 솔루션의 기능으로는 안정감증가를 위해 AI추천귀갓길안내, 다양한 옵션의 경로 선택기능을 추가하였으며, 불안감해소를 위하여 실시간 귀갓길 공유, 웨어러블신고기능 등 다양한 멀티모달AI기술을 활용하여 현 서비스의 문제점을 개선 및 고도화된 기술을 안심귀가서비스에 접목시켰다.따라 본 연구는 1인 가구 및 여성에게 사고를 방지할 수 있는 안전한 귀가 경로를 제공하여 더욱 안전한 사회를 만들 수 있도록 기대하며 멀티 모달 AI를 활용한 안심 귀가 서비스 '안도'를 제안한다. Today, the proportion of single-person households is increasing worldwide, and the proportion of women among single-person households in Korea is also increasing. At the same time, the ratio of crimes against single-person households and women is also increasing, and the government and local governments are implementing various policies such as safe way home, but they lack effectiveness and satisfaction due to manpower and budget problems and regional differential services. Therefore, this study aims to define problems of the current safe return service, increase stability felt by users, and relieve anxiety, and explore contacts that can be used at any time using multimodal AI. Through interviews and surveys, elements that users feel anxious and stable were collected, cluster analysis was conducted to derive personas, and paint points were defined through user scenario writing. Through this, a prototype was created by deriving a solution for each pane point by theme. AI-recommended homecoming guidance and path selection functions were added to increase stability, and various multimodal AI technologies such as real-time homecoming sharing and wearable reporting functions were used to improve current service problems and incorporate advanced technologies into safe homecoming services. Therefore, this study is expected to create a safer society by providing a safe return route to single-person households and women to prevent accidents, and proposes a safe return service "Ando" using multimodal AI

Optimization of the Input Fundamental Beam by Using a Spatial Filter Consisting of Two Apertures

The primary importance of the power efficiency of second-harmonic generation (SHG) is determined by using the spatial shape of the fundamental input beam, its confocal parameter. The improvement of the fundamental input beam by using a spatial filter consisting of two apertures. The beam quality factor M2 of the improved fundamental beam was about 2.3.

Second-harmonic Generation of Treated-STO Surface

In order to investigate the surface SHG, (110) pure STO single crystals were exposed to a reducing atmosphere to induce the reduction of the Ti ion and the release of oxygen from the lattice compensating the reduction of the Ti ions. The anisotropy and asymmetry of SHG intensity explains a slight shrinkage. The incoming fundamental wave was polarized either in the p-in or s-in to the plane of incidence for the reflection geometry. The SH polarization diagram could be described by the electric dipole and/or quadrupole contribution of reduced STO single crystal surface.

${Sr_{1-x}Ba_xNb_2O_6$(SBN) have been obtained in Pt crucible by melting and cooling in air atmosphere. Some SBNs being at the bottom of the crucible are black and transparent, and the other SBNs colorless. The black SBN became to be colorless by oxidation heat treatment $1,300^{\circ}C$ for 4 h, Curie temperature is changed by colorless change of black SBN. The reason seems to be $Nb^{5+}$ oxidation of some $Nb^{4+}$ ions in SBN or effect of unknown impurities. Diffused Phase Transition (DPT) was appeared during heating and cooling process. Various sintered SBN ceramics specimen showed relaxor characteristics.

동영상용 웨이브렛 변환 필터의 ASIC 설계

In this paper, we present an ASIC(Application Specific Integrated Circuit) design of wavelet transform filter Wavelet transform is used in lots of application fields which include image compression, because it has an excellent energy compaction. The operation characteristic and performance of wavelet transform filter are analyzed by using verilog-HDL(Hardware Description Language). In this paper, the designed wavelet transform filter uses line memory to improve data processing rate. Generally, when it reads and writes data of DRAM by using Fast Page Mode, input and output processing is very fast in horizontal direction but substantially slow in vertical direction. The use of line memory solves this low speed processing problem. As a result, though the size of the chip is getting larger, processing time for an image frame becomes 4.66ms. Generally, since the limit of 1 frame processing time on the data of TV video is 33ms, so it is appropriate for TV video. 본 논문에서는 뛰어난 에너지 압축성능에 의해 영상압축을 포함한 여러 응용분야에서 널리 사용되고 있는 웨이브렛 변환 필터를 ASIC(Application Specific Intergrated Circuit) 설계하였으며, 동작 특성 및 성능은 Verilog-HDL(Hardware Discription Language)를 통해 구현 및 분석하였다. 본 논문에서 설계한 웨이브렛 변환 필터는 데이터의 처리 속도를 향상시키기 위해 라인메모리(line memory)를 사용하였다. 이는 일반적으로 fast-page mode로 DRAM 데이터를 읽고 쓸 때에 수평방향으로는 데이터의 입출력이 빠르게 행해지는 반면 수직방향으로는 수평방향에 비해 현저하게 입출력 속도가 떨어지게 되는 단점을 개선하기 위해서이다. 그 결과 칩의 크기가 커지는 반면 1 프레임 처리속도가 4.66ms로 TV 동영상 데이터 1 프레임 처리속도의 한계인 33ms를 충분히 만족하여 실시간 처리가 가능함을 알 수 있었다.

Power Characteristics of cw Second-harmonic Generation in Periodically Poled LiNbO3

We verified through a noncritical phase-matched second-harmonic generation experiment that the periodically-poled LiNbO3 (PPLN) had a large effective nonlinear optical coefficient, demonstrating that the QPM grating was uniform throughout the entire length of PPLN. The quasi-phase matching temperature was 193.4oC. The maximum SHG output power at the fundamental power of 2.0 W was found to be 18.0 mW; generated second-harmonic beam was found to have no photorefractive effect.
