Although buildings by the roadside represent the landscape environment, they have many problems. The government and public management have developed a new block of buildings without any careful and long-term reviews. An owners indifference and the economical situation also have forced these problems. This study, by getting hold of problems with the case of seaside road in Jeju is purposed to propose the improvement of the visual quality of the landscape view, for raditional direction in planning buildings and fournitures on streets, based on the visual characteristic. The result of this study is as follows 1) As improving defects in the system, the seaside road is to be created into the space of life and the street landscape. 2) By the form-type composed in various methods, the identity of the seaside road is to be formed. and general type is the favorite one since it is easy to design the homogeneous space. 3) Contents, to controll the number and type of signs to compose the seaside road is to be included in the ordinance.

연구개발투자에 따른 비용저감 효과 분석: ICT산업을 중심으로

The purpose of this study is to estimate the cost-saving effect of R&D investment in the ICT industry. As is well known, the R&D investment induces both the product innovation and the process innovation, in turn leads the effect of creating profit and cutting cost. However, it appears that studies concerned with the cost-saving effect of R&D investment have been unproductive, while most existing studies concentrate on the topic involved with the creating profit of R&D investment. Therefore, we extend the effect of R&D investment to a framework of the cost-saving focusing on the ICT industry. To empirically analyze the effect, we built a simultaneous three-equation model comprising a translog cost function and two cost share equations, and employed the SUR analysis. As a result, we found out that the cost-saving effect on the total cost is statistically significant. In addition, we examined relationships between the R&D investment and each cost of production elements. The results show that on the one hand, the R&D investment and the intermediate good cost have the substitution relationship. On the other hand, the complementary relationship is observed between the R&D investment and each labor or capital cost. 본 연구는 ICT산업의 연구개발투자에 따른 비용저감 효과를 계측하는데 그 목적이 있다. 일반적으로 연구개발투자는 제품혁신과 공정혁신을 유발하고, 또 이들은 각각 매출증대와 비용저감 효과를 견인하는 것으로 알려져 있다. 그러나 기 수행된 실증연구들을 살펴보면, 그 대부분이 연구개발투자의 매출증대 기여부분에 초점을 두고 있다. 이에 본 연구는 최근 주목받고 있는 ICT산업을 중심으로 연구개발투자의 비용저감 효과를 분석해 보았다. 이를 위해 초월대수 비용함수와 비용점유율 방정식을 설정하였으며, SUR방법을 통해 실증적으로 분석하였다. 그 분석결과, 연구개발투자에 따른 총비용의 감소효과는 유의한 것을 확인할 수 있었다. 추가적으로 연구개발투자와 각 생산요소들 간의 관계를 살펴보았는데, 연구개발투자와 중간투입은 상호 대체관계, 노동 및 자본과는 보완관계인 것으로 나타났다.

시장지향성과 연구개발, 신제품 성과와의 관계 - 중규모 제조기업의 관점 -

The purpose of this study is to analyze the relationship of market orientation(customerorientation, competitor orientation, cross-functional integration), R&D system(management of R&Dmanpower, open R&D system), and new product performance in medium-sized manufacturing firms. To accomplish the purpose of the study, working hypotheses were established based on the literaturesabout the impacts of market orientation and R&D system factors on the NPD performance. Thesample of this study is as follows : 9 electrical and electronics companies, 21 machine and engineeringcompanies, 14 parts and materials companies. In order to verify hypotheses, the data were collectedfrom team leader and manager of research center, R&D, and production department of thesecompanies and the leader of R&D project team who all had experience in project or wereparticipating in it in latest 3 years. The results of study are summarized as follows : First, in correlation analysis on the majorfactors in sample firms, another factors except competitor orientation and management of R&Dmanpower are significant relationship. Second, market orientation is common level, but R&D systemis comparatively high level. Third, market orientation factors have a significant impact on the NPDperformance. This means that, in general, the enhancement of market orientation results in thehigher NPD performance. Forth, R&D system factors have a significant impact on the NPDperformance. This means that the enhancement of R&D system results in the higher NPDperformance. Fifth, customer orientation and cross-functional integration have a significant impact onthe R&D system in medium-sized manufacturing firms. 본 연구에서는 시장지향성의 추구와 연구개발 능력이 기업경쟁력의 핵심적인 요인임을 고려하여우리나라 중규모 제조기업의 시장지향성의 정도와 신제품 개발과 연구개발의 실태를 분석하고 실제이러한 활동의 결과가 신제품개발 성과(상대적 매출액 증대, 시장점유율 증대, 투자수익률 증대, 고객만족과 기술진보, 전반적인 성과-제품경쟁력)에 미치는 영향을 분석하였다. 첫째, 주요변수들 간의 상관관계는 경쟁자 지향성과 연구개발 인력관리를 제외하고는 모두 유의적인 상관이 있는 것으로 나타났으며, 표본기업의 시장지향성(고객지향성, 경쟁자 지향성, 교차기능적 통합) 정도는 보통보다 조금 높은 것으로 나타났고, 연구개발 시스템(연구개발 인력관리, 개방형 연구개발 체계)은 비교적 높은 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 점에서 우리나라 중규모 제조기업의 경우 시장지향성을 보통 이상으로 고려하고 있으며 연구개발 시스템은 비교적 체계적으로 갖추어져 있음을 유추할 수 있었다. 둘째, 시장지향상 관점에서 고객지향성과 경쟁자 지향성이 강할수록, 교차기능적 통합을 중요하게고려할수록 신제품 성과가 높게 나타남을 알 수 있었다. 셋째, 연구개발시스템 관점에서 우수한 연구개발 인력관리 제도와 개방형 연구개발 체계가 신제품 성과에 중요한 영향을 미치는 요인임을 알수 있었다. 넷째, 시장지향성 요인 중에서 고객지향성 요인과 교차기능적 통합 요인은 연구개발시스템에 유의적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며 경쟁자 지향성 요인은 유의적이지는 않지만 정의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.

Colleges and Universities are one of our whole life educational facilities for the disabled regarding job training opportunities and academic goal achievement. However it is usual for the disabled students to be deprived of their opportunities to study and to prepare for their future life on campus because of physical obstacles of campus environment. This study examines various problems of disabled students in this regard: what are the physical obstacles on campus, how to use the college's facilities for the disabled to achieve their academic goals and to have job training opportunities just like ordinary students, and how to improve educational environment on Cheju National University campus which is based on the concept of Universal Design.

We investigated the characterizations of carbon films fabricated by dual magnetron sputtering under various RF powers for the improvement of physical properties in carbon fiber (CF). All sputtered carbon films exhibited amorphous structure, regardless of RF powers, resulting in uniform and smooth surfaces. The hardness and elastic modulus are increased with the increase of RF power, and the adhesion and friction properties of carbon films were improved with the increase of RF power. In the results, The increase of RF power in the sputtering method improved tribological properties of the carbon films, and these attributes can be expected to improve the physical properties of the carbon fiber reinforcement plastics.
