The dielectric behavior of stearic acid in 1,4-dioxane medium at various temperature 303 K–288 K and frequency regime (10 MHz–30 GHz) determined from the complex dielectric permittivity spectra obtained by Time Domain Reflectometry(TDR). In this frequency range, the dielectric study gives the electrostatic interaction as well as orientational polarizability of complex mixtures of long chain molecules significantly. Dielectric parameters were calculated from the complex spectra of the binary mixture by non linear least square fit method. The excess permittivity (εE), correlation factors were calculated for the binary system. Thermal parameters(ΔH-enthalpy, ΔS-entropy and ΔG-Gibbs free energy) were calculated and the direction of reaction is determined. The FTIR spectrum of the binary system recorded and the assignments are discussed. The FTIR spectral assignments confirm the molecular interactions.

This investigation highlights rationale of electrically conductive nano adhesives for its essential application for Electromagnetic Interference (EMI) Shielding in satellites and Lightning Strike Protection in aircrafts. Carbon Nano Fibres (CNF) were functionalized by electroless process using Tollen's reagent and by Plasma Enhanced Chemical Vapour Deposition (PECVD) process by depositing silver on CNF. Different weight percentage of CNF and silver coated CNF were reinforced into the epoxy resin hardener system. Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) micrographs clearly show the presence of CNF in the epoxy matrix, thus giving enough evidence to show that dispersion is uniform. Transmission Electron Microscopy (TEM) studies reveal that there is uniform deposition of silver on CNF resulting in significant improvement in interfacial adhesion with epoxy matrix. There is a considerable increase in thermal stability of the conductive nano adhesive demonstrated by Differential Scanning Calorimetry (DSC) and Thermogravimetric Analysis (TGA). Four probe conductivity meters clearly shows a substantial increase in the electrical conductivity of silver coated CNF-epoxy composite compared to non-coated CNF-epoxy composite. Tensile test results clearly show that there is a significant increase in the tensile strength of silver coated CNF-composites compared to non-coated CNF-epoxy composites. Consequently, this technology is highly desirable for satellites and EMI Shielding and will open a new dimension in space research.

India’s travel and tourism sector is expected to be the second-largest employer in the world, employing 40,37,000 people directly or indirectly, by 2019 (WTTC). Presently, hospitality industry provides 48 million jobs, directly or indirectly or 8.27 percent of total employment and accounts for 5.83 percent of the GDP (MoT, Govt. of India). Being a human centric industry the abilities, guest satisfaction/dissatisfaction which ultimately leads to success/failure of an organization. Considering the employees, organizations are emphasizing on satisfying their employees as it leads to higher productivity, low turnover, reduced absenteeism, increased morale and above all increases the commitment level towards the organization. The purpose of this research is to define the effect of the structure of management and employees to the guest satisfaction in terms of quality of restaurant products and services. The methodology used for this research has been polling of 150 guests in 10 restaurants in Hi-tech city, Hyderabad during 2018. The process of measuring satisfaction was performed by monitoring the attitudes and perceptions of users in terms of quality of products and services which marks food quality, service quality and ambience quality and price/quality ratio.
Correlation of fracture parameters during onset of crack in middle tension specimen
M.S. Starvin,K.C. Ganesh,R. Pandiyarajan 한국CDE학회 2017 Journal of computational design and engineering Vol.4 No.3
The present study addresses the implementation of finite element analysis and the prediction of fracture parameters in a middle tension (MT) specimen that was fabricated using AISI 4140 steel. The correlation of fracture parameters with external loads and crack sizes was investigated. A Finite Element code was developed to simulate the fracture model. The contour integral method was applied in the calculation of stress intensity factor and J-integral in the cracked specimen. The ASTM standard empirical formula was used to calculate the stress intensity factor (SIF) and the numerical predictions were validated. A standard laboratory experiment was also carried out using the MT specimen to calculate the crack growth rate in this specific material. The SIF values were almost linear with external load but it was decreasing as the crack size increases. The crack requires minimum load for crack propagation as the crack size increases. Similarly the J-integral was accelerated with increase in crack size.

A Study on the Role of Accommodation for the Promotion of Domestic Tourism in Tamilnadu
( K. Karthick ),( M. K. Ganesh ) 한국문화관광학회 2018 문화관광연구 Vol.20 No.2
At present, tourism in Tamil Nadu is capable of attracting more tourists in its folds particularly in respect of attracting domestic tourists. The above picture is highly apparent from viewpoints of the local people, domestic tourists and accommodation providers. In Tamil Nadu, participation in tourism-related activities is seen to be more among local people as well as among hoteliers. Most of the hoteliers in various regions of tourism importance under study provide most of the facilities required for tourists’ less than one roof. That is, they provide facilities such as restaurant, car rentals, laundry and doctors on call for tourists
