This study of research are to identify causalities among reliability, repeat, women's customer satisfaction and women's customer loyalty in travel products and to identify the factors by which reliability and repeat are influenced. However, this research is different from the previous ones in the sense that both reliability and repeat are considered in the study of the relationship between women's customer satisfaction/loyalty and reliability/repeat in travel products. Conclusively, customer satisfaction and loyalty are positively related not with the reliability but with the repeat. Besides, women's customer loyalty is significantly influenced by the reliability, repeat and the customer satisfaction. This indicates that companies in the tour agents have to develop a segmentation strategy for the reliability which is more socially and ethically allowable than the repeat.

To construct transfurmed Bm5 cells, Autographa californica nuclear polyhedrosis virus(AcNPV) IE1 gene, an immediate early viral gene was firstly used in this study. AcNPV IE1 gene, which shares on 95.3% nucleotide sequence homology with Bombyx mori nuclear polyhedrosis virus (BmNPV) IE1 gene, was isolated and cloned into pBluescript. Neomycin gene from pKO-neo was inserted under the control of the IE1 promoter to yield pAcIE1-neo. The plasmid pAcIE1-neo was transfected into Bm5 or Sf9 cells, and neomycin-resistant cells were selected in TC100 medium containing 10% fetal bovine serum (FBS) and 1 mg/ml G4l8 for two weeks. Individual clones were picked and each was amplified for further characterization. The genomic DNA from neomycin-resistant cells was isolated and characterized by PCR using AcNPV IEI gene-specific primers and by Southern blot analysis using neomycin gene probe. We concluded that AcNPV IE1 gene was functional in B. mori-derived Bm5 cells as well as Spodoptera fugjprrda-derived Sf9 cells to produce stably-transformed insect cells
Increased tissue transglutaminase expression in human atherosclerotic coronary arteries

BACKGROUND AND OBJECTIVE: Transglutaminase 2 (TGase 2) is a calcium-dependent cross-linking enzyme that catalyzes a covalent iso-peptide bond between two proteins. Interestingly, this catalysis can activate the nuclear factor-&kgr;B (NF-&kgr;B) through the polymerization of the inhibitory protein of NF-&kgr;B (I-&kgr;B). The objective of the present study was to investigate the expression of TGase 2 in the human atherosclerotic human coronary artery, and the possible roles of TGase 2 in NF-&kgr;B activation. METHODS AND RESULTS: We explored whether expressions of TGase 2 and NF-&kgr;B are associated in atherosclerosis. Using human samples, we found that TGase 2 was markedly higher than normal in the neointimal tissue of atherosclerotic coronary arteries with atherosclerosis progression. TGase 2 activity was also increased approximately two-fold in the atherosclerotic vascular wall. In immunofluorescence analysis, NF-&kgr;B, COX-2, and TNF-α were co-localized at TGase 2-positive neointimal smooth muscle cells. A promoter assay test showed that NF-&kgr;B activity increased in both the human monocyte and human breast carcinoma cell by TGase 2, and that TGase 2-mediated NF-&kgr;B activation was reversed by TGase 2 siRNA. CONCLUSION: According to these results, we suggest that TGase 2 may function as an activator in the NF-&kgr;B pathway; this effect may occur in the atherosclerotic vessel wall.
무당벌레에 선택적인 살비제 선발과 이들 처리가 사과원 식식성 응애류와 천적류에 미치는 영향

본 연구는 무당벌레에 선택적인 살비제 선발과 이들 처리가 사과원 초식성응애류 및 천적류에 미치는 영향을 조사하기 위하여 수행되었다. 조사된 모든 살비제는 무당벌레 보다는 점박이응애와 사과응애에 더 강한 독성을 보였고, 또 무당벌레의 유충과 성충보다는 알에 더 높은 독성을 나타냈다. 실내 선택독성실험에서 azocyclotin과 fenpropathrin이 각각 무당벌레에 대해서 선택성이 높은 약제와 낮은 약제로 나타났다. 응애류는 약제 처리횟수에 크게 영향을 받은 반면 천적류는 약제살포횟수 및 약제종류간에 차이가 없었다. 풀잠자리류는 긴털이리응애나 애꽃노린재류와는 달리 약제살포에 비교적 영향이 적었다. This study was conducted to select the acaricides selective to H. axyridis and examine the effects on phytophagous mites and natural enemies after application of selected acaricides in the apple orchard. All the acaricides tested were more toxic to T. urticae and P. ulmi than to H. axyridis, and also were more toxic to egg than to the larva and adult of H. myridis. Azocyclotin and fenpropathrin were the highest and lowest selective acaricides to H. axyridk, respectively. The density of phytophagous mites was high affected by frequency of acaricide application. Significant difference in the changes of the density of natural enemies was not be observed according to frequency of acaricide application and kinds of acaricide. Acaricide treatment showed high effect on the population densities of A. womersleyi and Oriur spp., while less effect on Chrysopa spp.

A pulmonary thromboembolism usually results from a serious complication of deep venous thrombosis (DVT). However, several prothrombotic genetic risk factors are known to predispose a patient to thrombotic events, with manifestation at a young age. Protein C and S deficiencies are known to increase the risk of venous thrombosis and pulmonary thromboembolism. We report a case of a young patient with protein C and S deficiencies suffering from a massive pulmonary thromboembolism.
