        ANSI/EIA 709.1을 사용하는 지능형 제어모듈개발을 통한 화재 경보시스템의 새로운 설계방안

        빌딩자동제어시스템은 여러 서브시스템의 통합을 통한 고도의 서비스 제공, 관리비의 절감 등을 효과적으로 실현할 수 있다. 통합운전의 전제조건은 표준 프로토콜을 가진 개방형 네트워크를 이용하여 합리적인 네트워크 설계에 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 BAS에 가장 걸림돌이 되었던 화재경보시스템(소방법 명칭)을 ANSI/FIA 709.1인 LonTalk 프로토콜을 이용하여 BAS에서의 통합을 위한 개념적인 새로운 설계방안을 제시하였다. 기존 시스템에서 사용되는 중계기를 대체하는 지능형제어모듈을 개발하고 이를 이용하여 개방된 지능형 화재경보시스템의 설계방안을 제안한 것이다. 이는 오보률의 저감 실현은 물론 빌딩의 통합운전에도 크게 기여할 것으로 판단된다. There are many economic and operational reasons to integrate fire alarm signaling system with other building automation system Integration of this requires open network with the standard communication protocol and careful design practices. The important point for this is also the development of intelligent control modules for replacing the conventional zone adapter in fire system. Therefore, this paper proposes an new conceptual design of the open distributed fire alarm signaling system for the integration of BAS and a new intelligent control modules with LonTalk protocol. Newly proposed additions to LonWorks network make it very well suited for integrating fire systems with other building automation systems. Additionally, it is very important that best design practices, test procedures and building codes need to be modernized to accommodate integrated building systems.

        인텔리전트 빌딩의 화재 확대지연 통합 플랫폼 개발 연구

        High-Rise and Large Office Building has potential elements of fire occurrence, it expects casualties and property damage in case of fire. For this reason, buildings build fire prevention system which included in the BAS(Building Automation System). But it operates separately and remains simple monitoring and control. Therefore, this research introduces the integrated platform for fire suppression which is developed with reviews of BAS and fire prevention systems in Intelligent Building. As a result, the proposed integrated platform for fire suppression consists of the fire detection algorithm using temperature data, the occupancy detecting algorithm using RFID, CCTV and PIR(Pyroelectric Infrared Radial) sensor, the fire suppression algorithm using HVAC system, and connections with Building Management System in BAS for fire situation. 초고층 대형 업무용 빌딩은 화재 발생의 잠재요소가 많으며, 화재 발생 시 큰 인명 및 재산피해가 예상된다. 이와 같은 화재에 대비하기 위해 소방방재시스템 등 빌딩자동화시스템이 구축되어 있으나 개별적으로 운영되고 있어 화재 시 신속한 대응이 어려운 실정이다. 따라서, 본 연구에서는 현재 인텔리전트 빌딩에 구축되어 있는 빌딩자동화시스템 및 소방시스템을 검토하여 화재 확대지연에 특화된플랫폼 개발 연구를 수행하였다. 그 결과, 온도데이터를 이용한 화재 발생 감지 판단 알고리즘, 기존 건물에 설치된 RFID, CCTV, PIR(Pyroelectric Infrared Radial)센서 장비를 활용한 재실자 유무 판단 알고리즘, 공조시스템을 연계한 화재 확대지연 알고리즘, 공조, 조명 등 빌딩자동화시스템의 개별 빌딩관리시스템을 연계한 화재에 특화된 플랫폼을 개발하였다.

      • Developing Intelligent Control Modules with LonTalk Protocol for Intelligent Building System & Home Automation

        There are many economic and operational reasons to integrate fire alarm signaling system with other building automation system. Integration of this requires open network with for the standard communication protocol and careful design practices. The important point for this is also the development of intelligent control modules for replacing the conventional zone adapter in fire system. Therefore, this paper proposes an new conceptual design of the open distributed fire alarm signaling system for the integration of BAS, a new intelligent control modules with LonTalk protocol and a new control modules for power line communication. Newly proposed additions to LonWorks network make it very well suited for integrating fire systems with other building automation sub-systems and another BAS with low cost. Additionally, it is very important that best design practices, test procedures and building codes need to be modernized to accommodate integrated building systems.

        Sensor network supports data delivery from physical world to cyber space. Sensors get physical events then wireless network transfers sensor data to service server. We use sensor network techNoogy to light control system for intelligent building. In ubiquitous computing environment. wireless sensor network is basic tool for intelligent service. In this paper, we propose intelligent building light control system based on wireless sensor network. It is implemented using previous light control product, can be adopted to present building light system.

        지능형 빌딩을 위한 디지털 통합 전관 방송 시스템 개발

        본 논문에서는 미래 지능형 빌딩 시스템에서 요구되는 다양한 상황을 인지할 수 있는 지능형 디지털 통합 전관 방송 시스템을 개발하였다. 화재와 재난과 같은 응급 상황이 발생할 때 울리는 경보음을 인식할 수 있으며, 실내 온도와 습도 및 환경 오염도와 같은 다양한 센서 출력을 전달 받아 지능적으로 상황에 맞는 대처 방안을 필요한 곳에 개별적으로 방송할 수 있는 지능형 디지털 통합 전관 방송 시스템을 개발하였다. 외부 입력, 마이크, CD와 MP3 및 라디오 기능 등을 일체형으로 통합하고 소형화한 디지털 전관 방송 시스템을 개발하고 있으며, 시스템이 중앙 집중 제어가 가능하도록 운용 MICOM을 개발하였다. 중앙 집중 제어를 수행하기 위해 운용 MICOM은 제어 계층, 처리 계층 및 사용자 인터페이스 계층인 3계층으로 구성된다. In this paper, we developed an intelligent minimized integrated digital public address which can provide context awareness of various events occurring in future intelligent buildings. It is able to recognize both voices and sounds, such as a fire bell and a disaster bell, which signal to escape in emergence situations and it can sense information which is sent from various sensors, for example, the inner temperature, humidity, and environment status in an intelligent building. Also, the intelligent digital integrated public address can broadcast information to individual places, according to context awareness that is from sensing information, by using network with an ID. And we are developing a minimized integrated digital public address system that has facilities such as external input, Mic., CD, MP3 and Radio. Developing an integrated digital public address system with operational MICOM will make it possible to control the facilities of digital devices centrally. The operational MICOM is composed of 3 layers which are a control layer, a processing layer and a user interface layer.

So our construction industry is necessary to take building energy management system. Recently, many building has imported various energy management system. BEMS(Building Energy Management System) is include these system's various function. In this study, we are to provide the basic data for import and revitalization of BEMS through the application examples of BEMS in Japan.

      • 고층 인텔리전트 사무소건물의 평면계획 특성

        This study aims at analyzing the floor planning characteristics of high-rise intelligent office buildings, which have nowadays become a popular concept, and also at deriving the planning factors during the floor planning process of such buildings. In order to meet such goals, information on the floor planning for worldwide completed office buildings, higher than 20-story, was gathered and classified according to floor types for analysis of their characteristics. Results of the analysis show that most floor plans are either square, rectangular, circular or oval shaped, while there is also a vast number of twin tower type floor plans. Most cores are planned either by central core, dispersed core or partial core. There is a vast difference in core planning between Korea and foreign countries in that most of the cores in Korea are partial core, while most cores in foreign countries are either dispersed or central core. It can be said that Korean floor planning should be improved into dispersed core type since there is a high need for flexibility and adaptability for facilities in intelligent office buildings. Floor planning of high-rise intelligent office buildings should be achieved through appropriate review of such planning factors that are discussed in this study.

        Real-time Intelligent Exit Path Indicator Using BLE Beacon Enabled Emergency Exit Sign Controller

        Emergency lights and exit signs are an indispensable part of safety precautions for effective evacuation in case of emergency in public buildings. These emergency sign indicates safe escape routes and emergency doors, using an internationally recognizable sign. However visibility of those signs drops drastically in case of emergency situations like fire smoke, etc. and loss of visibility causes serious problems for safety evacuation. This paper propose a novel emergency light and exit sign built-in with Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) Beacon to assist the emergency self-guiding evacuation using devices for crisis and emergency management to avoid panic condition inside the buildings. In this approach, the emergency light and exit sign with the BLE beacons deployed in the indoor environments and the smart devices detect their indoor positions, direction to move, and next exit sign position from beacon messages and interact with map server in the Internet / Intranet over the available LTE and/or Wi-Fi network connectivity. The map server generate an optimal emergency exit path according to the nearest emergency exit based on a novel graph generation method for less route computation for each smart device. All emergency exit path data interfaces among three system components, the emergency exit signs, map server, and smart devices, have been defined for modular implementation of our emergency evacuation system. The proposed exit sign experimental system has been deployed and evaluated in real-time building environment thoroughly and gives a good evidence that the modular design of the proposed exit sign system and a novel approach to compute emergency exit path route based on the BLE beacon message, map server, and smart devices is competitive and viable.

        노후사무소 열원시스템의 IBS화 리모델링에 대한 LCC 분석

        This study is aimed at investigating the economics of Intelligent Building Systematization for remodeling in deteriorated office buildings. To introduce IBS(Intelligent Building System) into deteriorated office buildings, this study selected the economic HVAC system of 3 alternatives, and evaluated the total cost of GAS(Building Automation System), OA(Office Automation), TC/AV(Tele Communication/Audio Video), SI(System Integration) by IB 4 levels through Life Cycle Costing Method. As a result of this study, in the case of IB Systematization limited BAS for remodeling in deteriorated office, the energy saving cost is a half of the initial cost in Life cycle 10 years, but the operator labor saving cost is 1.9~2.5 times to the energy saving cost, the operator labor cost is the principle factor of IB Systematization for remodeling in office buildings.

      • 고층 빌딩을 위한 다용도 스마트 융합 센서 개발

        This paper introduces a multipurpose smart fusion sensor. Normally, it can save electric power of lighting and heating/air conditioning system by detecting human bodies in the office. And if a fire occurs, it can give information for the presence and location of residents in the building to a management center. The system consists of four sensors: a thermopile sensor sensing heat energy, an ultrasonic sensor measuring the distance, a fire detection sensor, and a PIR sensor detecting temperature change. And it has a wireless communication module to provide the management center with control information of lighting and heating/air conditioning system. We also demonstrate the usefulness of the proposed system by applying it to a real environment.
