        C-Map 내비게이션을 위한 도저 작업계획 생성

        The construction industry faces difficulties such as a decrease in skilled workers, low productivity, and high numbers of industrial accidents. To solve these problems, efforts are being made to develop smart construction technology applying 4th industrial revolution technology. In linear earthworks such as those for railway construction, efficient equipment management has a great influence on construction productivity, and the development of a smart construction technology-based construction equipment control system is underway for effective equipment management. This study aims to develop an automatic work planning generation for construction equipment, which is an element technology of the construction equipment control system; the target equipment is limited to dozers. Based on design and construction site information, work plans are automatically generated and efficient paths for dozers are presented, and the generated work plans are transmitted to the equipment driver in real time to support efficient work. In addition, they are linked to Machine Control and Machine Guidance systems to enable smart construction.

        고속철도 횡단 강거더 설치공사에서의BIM 기반 가상건설 장비운영 시뮬레이션의 적용

        The interest in the Building Information Modeling (BIM) technology has risen remarkably due to the effects on construction work period reduction, cost reduction, work safety improvement, and other factors. In civil engineering field, BIM applications mainly focus on data modeling and virtual construction. In this study, we present the BIM-based virtual construction and analyze the effects of BIM for the railway facilities so that the conventional approach to the equipment operation plan can be improved in order to prevent safety accidents which can result from unclear information during the operation plan. The BIM-based virtual construction technology is applied to establish the construction plan for the site with constraints, the installation of steel girder needs to be completed, avoiding interference with the existing high-speed railway operation within a given limited time. A virtual construction model consisting of topography, structures, equipments, and avatar was built and more detailed model, including safety guard rails, was then created. Specifications of the construction equipment were input as a database, and the virtual construction model was manipulated in the equipment operation planning. Through the BIM-based virtual construction, including the verification of alternative construction method, 311 million won was saved and the construction period was shortened by 87 days compared to the original plan. In addition, it was shown that the interest and participation of the construction workers can be increased by providing the 3D virtual scene for real construction work and various safety hazards occurring during equipment operation can be effectively removed in advance by the interactive worker education.

        리모델링사업 확대에 따른 설비분야의 대응방안에 관한 연구

        As Korea`s economy is entering a period of gradual growth, rate of growth on the construction market is becoming slow like that in developed countries. Remodeling construction market will be gradually expanded due to change in the social environment and diversification of individual demand. This study aims to promote the status of building equipment field with corresponding strategies based on the current situation that the importance of building equipment field is emphasized. Although it is desirable that building equipment construction companies lead remodeling construction, the building equipment part of general construction companies take the important role may be a advisable way, because the technology of building equipment construction companies is a little insufficient. Though building equipment field has become more important, the number of credits and professor of the field is still small than other fields of architectural engineering. More practical curriculums are necessary to meet the expectation of companies. Mechanical part of building equipment construction does not have independent law otherwise the other parts of building equipment construction. Establishing the independent law is urgent to promote the remodeling construction technology.

      • Development of Fuel-efficient Construction Equipment

        Environmental and energy issues demand the construction equipment industry to develop more efficient and energy-saving machines as they have done to the automotive industry in the past two decades. Construction equipments such as excavators, loaders, and forklift trucks, have unique power train mechanisms, thus raise unique technical issues with respect to efficiency improvement or energy savings. Traditionally hydraulic systems, which have unparalleled power density and ruggedness, have been the core parts of the construction equipments’ power train. Due to heavy work load and long daily operation hours compared to automobiles, the economic impact of energy efficient equipment on customers’ maintenance budget must be greater than that of automotives. Hence, there are challenges and opportunities in this industry for energy saving technologies like hybrid power trains. Although not popular yet, hybrid excavators made their debut in the market, and commercialization of hybrid loaders and forklift trucks will soon become a reality. Recent advances in power electronics and electric machines have played a crucial role in hybridizations of construction equipments.

        시가표준액표를 활용한 건설공사표준품셈 건설기계가격 상시관리 시스템 개발

        Construction equipment cost is critical to estimate the total construction costs, particularly in large and complicatedprojects. Public construction projects are typically estimated using the Poom-Saem which includes hourly rates forworkers and equipments. Despite its importance, the construction equipment cost may not properly reflect the currentmarket value because it is being updated every six years at most. To keep the data for construction equipment costestimation up to date, it is highly recommended to use the standard market price that is reported each year by theMinistry of Security and Public Administration (MOSPA). However, there is still a wide gap to directly adopt thestandard market price for updating the construction equipment prices. Therefore, this paper suggests an effective wayto develop an ordinary management systems for updating construction equipment prices in the Poom-saem based onthe standard market price. 국내 공공건설사업의 건설기계경비 손료 선정 시 사용되는 건설기계가격표는 급변하는 현실을 제대로 반영하지 못하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 현실이 반영된 기계경비 산정을위해 「기계장비 시가표준액표」를 활용하여 표준품셈의건설기계가격이 지속적으로 제·개정될 수 있는 체계화되고선진화된 상시관리시스템의 방안을 개발하여 제시하고, 대표적인 장비에 이를 적용하여 건설기계가격의 변화가 정부예산에 미치는 영향을 분석하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 투명하고 공정한 공사비 산정기준을 정립하는 데 도움이 될 것으로기대한다.

      • Effect of the Movable Crane and the Size of the Supporting Plate of Outrigger in Crane on the Stability of Excavation Slopes in Sand

        This study investigated the effect of construction equipment loads on the stability of the excavation slope(S.E.S) in sand under construction. The study about the S.E.S under construction is important since the heavy construction equipment placed on the top of the slope could affect the S.E.S and cause the accident resulted from the collapse of soil. However, in many cases, the construction equipment loads was not included for checking the S.E.S under consideration. To analyze the effect of the construction equipment, the various parameters such as the slope angle, the load of equipment, the size of supporting plates of outrigger, and groundwater level were considered. The S.E.S was investigated using commercial software that is SLOPE/W program. As a construction equipment loads, the movable crane was considered. The slope angles considered in this study were 1:1.0, 1:1.5, and 1:1.8. And, the size of supporting plates was stipulated for 1.3㎡, 1.5㎡, and 2㎡. As a result, the S.E.S was significantly different according to the size of supporting plate, and the inclination angle of slope has a greater effect on the S.E.S more than the size of supporting plate from the same ground condition. The method of lowering the inclination angle of slope and changing the size of supporting plates should be considered to guarantee the S.E.S.       • 건설기계 시공능력 산정에 관한 연구 : 작업효율 중심으로

        건설기계는 건설사업의 성공적인 수행을 위한 중요한 요인이다. 그리고 건설기계에 소요되는 비용이 건설공사비에서 차지하는 비중이 크다. 따라서 건설기계 비용의 산정은 건설계획 단계에서 중요한 업무이다. 이를 위해서 우리나라는 표준 품셈에 제시된 건설기계 시공능력 산정식을 이용하여 건설기계의 시간당 작업량을 계산하는 방식을 활용하고 있다. 그러나 건설기계의 성능은 개선되고 있으나 시공능력 산정식에서 활용되고 있는 작업효율은 이를 반영하지 못하는 실정이다. 이에 본 연구는 유압식 백호, 로우더, 덤프트럭을 대상으로 현장실사를 통해 작업효율을 실측하였다. 그 결과 백호와 로우더는 현재 활용중인 작업효율보다 현장실사 값이 높게 나타났으며, 텀프트럭은 낮게 나타났다. 본 연구결과를 바탕으로 건설기계의 작업효율 표준 산정식에 대한 정의가 수립되어야 하며, 체계적이고 장기적인 조사를 거쳐 작업효율의 개정이 필요할 것으로 사료된다. Heavy equipment is a very important factor for successful construction implementation. Also, the cost for heavy equipment is a major part of construction cost. Therefore, the estimation of equipment cost is a critical job in the construction planning phase. A formula for production rates shown in 'Standard Unit Labor' has been used to estimate construction equipment capability per hour and cost. Although the performance of equipment has been improved, the efficiency rates in the formula are not updated lately. Therefore, this research performed several site visits to measure construction equipment working time and then calculates the efficiency rates for hydraulic backhoe, loader, and dump truck. The results show that the measured efficiencies of backhoe and loader are higher than current ones and vice versa for dump truck. This research proposes the needs for a standardized calculation formula and systematic and long-term data collection and measurement for updating efficiency rates for heavy equipment.

        SEMA: A Site Equipment Management Assistant for Construction Management

        Collecting construction equipment information such as the site equipment enter and exit date-time, driver's name, type, and quantity is essential in construction management. Most construction projects use paper to record the equipment access history. However, manual recording is always labour-intensive and time-consuming. Therefore, this research aims to develop an assistant system, Site Equipment Management Assistant (SEMA), to automate the site equipment management processes. With the introduction of image recognition and multiple objects tracking technologies, the proposed system can extract equipment-related information from raw videos. SEMA is designed as a chatbot system that contains three major modules: data acquisition, information extraction, and information delivery. A deep learning-based model was first trained to automatically recognize and track construction equipment passing by the site monitor. Information such as equipment entering and exiting date-time, type, and quantity would be extracted and stored in a database. A chatbot interface was developed for users to obtain data from the database through an intuitive and easy-to-use interface. A system evaluation and usability test were conducted. The results showed that the system could effectively improve the construction equipment management process. SEMA can save 60.7% of users' operation time on obtaining related information.

        Online Monitoring of Ship Block Construction Equipment Based on the Internet of Things and Public Cloud: Take the Intelligent Tire Frame as an Example

        In view of the problems of insufficient data collection and processing capability of multi-source heterogeneous equipment, and low visibility of equipment status at the ship block construction site. A data collection method for ship block construction equipment based on wireless sensor network (WSN) technology and a data processing method based on edge computing were proposed. Based on the Browser/Server (B/S) architecture and the OneNET platform, an online monitoring system for ship block construction equipment was designed and developed, which realized the visual online monitoring and management of the ship block construction equipment status. Not only that, the feasibility and reliability of the monitoring system were verified by using the intelligent tire frame system as the application object. The research of this project can lay the foundation for the ship block construction equipment management and the ship block intelligent construction, and ultimately improve the quality and efficiency of ship block construction.

        시뮬레이션에 의한 건설기계 시공능력 산정 ;굴삭기&로우더의 사이클타임

        건설기계는 건설사업의 성공적인 수행의 중요한 요인이며, 건설기계에 소요되는 비용이 건설공사비에서 차지하는 비중은 점차 증가하고 있다. 우리나라는 표준품셈에 제시된 건설기계 시공능력 산정식을 이용하여 건설기계의 시간당 작업량을 계산하고 있다. 건설기계 성능은 개선되고 있으나 시공능력 산정식에서 활용되고 있는 요소들은 이를 반영하지 못하고 있는 실정이며 극히 부분적으로만 재․개정되었다. 본 연구에서는 건설기계 시공능력 산정식 요소 중 사이클타임에 대해서 조사하였다. 이를 위해 먼저 관련 선행연구를 분석하였고, 건설공사에 주로 사용되는 건설기계인 굴삭기와 로우더의 사이클타임을 실사하였다. 수집된 자료와 현행 표준품셈의 시공능력 산정식에 적용되는 수치를 바탕으로 시뮬레이션 프로그램인 크리스탈볼을 활용하여 건설기계의 시공능력을 산정하였다. Therefore, this paper has analyzed the preceding research, and performed several site visits to measure the cycle time of a backhoe and a loader. Construction equipment production rates were calculated with collected cycle times and variables given in 'Standard Unit Labor'. In addition,production rates were estimated considering the circumstances of various sites with the simulation program 'crystal ball.'
