        주사 전자현미경의 이미지 해상도 향상을 위한 방안 및 실험적 검증

        The electric part of thermal SEM(Scanning Electron Microscopy) consists of high voltage generation, lens control, and image processing. Several methodologies for enhancing SEM image are addressed and those results are verified through analyses and experiments. The controller employes a DSP(Digital Signal Processing), making the system more flexible and convenient than the classical analogue based controller. In some parts based the analog circuit, there are inevitable sources of noise and image distortion. The experimental investigation is provided along with analytical proof to enhance the SEM image.

        서울의 도시이미지 평가를 통한 도시만족도 분석

        In order to be more competitive city, today, all city governments struggle for building specialized city image. For this, appropriate political efforts, and objective evaluation and analysis of the city condition are being required. In this respect, this study investigates the relationship between city image and satisfaction of city through city image evaluation with the consideration of individual characteristics as one of the variables. This study focuses on Seoul, the biggest global city in Korea. This study divides Seoul into five zones, and the central district of each zone is chosen to complete the survey for data collection. Factorial analysis is fulfilled using the survey data; and the influence between city image and satisfaction of city is identified by the Structural Equation Modelling (SEM). This study discusses city image, one of the key components of city marketing that enhances competitiveness of city. This study gets some significance that the relationship between city image and satisfaction of city is subdivided based on how the citizens perceive Seoul.

        지역주민의 집단효능감이 지역의 브랜드 이미지, 브렌드 태도, 그리고 브랜드 충성도에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구

        The purpose of this study is to examine the causal relationships among the perception of the Collective Efficacy, the Local Brand Image, the Local Brand Attitude, and the Local Brand Loyalty and to find policy implications on successful local development and place marketing"s strategies. To achieve this purpose, this study reviews the existing literatures about the Efficacy, the Regional Brand and the Brand Equity, and then formulates some study hypotheses, and finally verifies them using a structural equation model. The main results of this study are as follows. 1) The Collective Efficacy affects the Local Brand Images which are the Tourism Image and the Investment Image. 2) The Collective Efficacy affects the Local Brand Attitude and the Local Brand Loyalty. 3) The Brand Images have statistically significant effects on the Local Brand Attitude. 4) The Local Brand Loyalty is affected by the Local Brand Attitude. The policy implications of theses finding is as follow. In order to make successfully the Local Brand Equity which are included by the Brand Image, the Brand Attitude, and the Brand Loyalty. The Local Government should make the best efforts to enhance residents participation by the program. That is to say, The local authorities and the local residents should work together in the local community"s business such as the Local Festival or the Place Marketing Programs.

        높은 자장하에서 자기공명 영상 왜곡이 완화된 생체용 Ti 복합재료

        When viewed using a magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) system, invasive materials inside the human body, in many cases, severely distort the MR image of human tissues. The degree of the MR image distortion increases in proportion not only to the difference in the susceptibility between the invasive material and the human tissue, but also to the intensity of the magnetic field induced by the MRI system. In this study, by blending paramagnetic Ti particles with diamagnetic graphite, we synthesized Ti100-xCx composites that can reduce the artifact in the MR image under the high-strength magnetic field. Of the developed composites, Ti70C30 showed the magnetic susceptibility of χ=67.6×10-6, which corresponds to 30% of those of commercially available Ti alloys, the lowest reported in the literature. The level of the MR image distortion in the vicinity of the Ti70C30 composite insert was nearly negligible even under the high magnetic field of 4.7 T. In this paper, we reported on a methodology of designing new structural materials for bio-applications, their synthesis, experimental confirmation and measurement of MR images.

        Investigating the Colour Difference of Old and New Blue Japanese Glass Pigments for Artistic Use

        Colour consistency is an important consideration when selecting pigments used on works of art. In this study, we analyse the colour difference between two sets of synthetic blue glass pigments acquired at least 8 years apart from the same manufacturer in Japan. The old pigment set (unused, dry powder with four different grain sizes) appears faded compared to the new set. These pigments are made available for artistic use, commonly in Nihonga or Japanese paintings. Raman spectroscopy and SEM-EDS results characterize these pigments as cobalt aluminate spinels dissolved in leaded glaze, a special class of complex coloured inorganic pigments that is not well-understood in the field of conservation. Colour difference between the old and new pigments with four different grain sizes were quantified by analysing photomicrographs with image analysis software. Blue pigments with coarse and extremely fine grains showed significant colour change compared to pigments with medium and fine grain sizes. The high occurrence of crystallites in the finer grains give a final colour that is bluer and lighter. Possible causes for the colour difference including manufacturing methods and storage environment are discussed.

        장소애착이 도시브랜드에 미치는 영향 : 함평나비축제를 사례로

        The purpose of this study is to search the influence of place attachment on urban brand formation and to use it as a basis for judging the policy. To accomplish this goal, this study examined the theoretical basis of place attachment and urban brand, and set observation variables and research hypotheses necessary for the survey. The statistical data constructed by the survey was used as a structural equation model to verify the research hypothesis. The research subjects are residents and visitors of Hampyeong area, which is considered as the Butterfly festival and succeeded in marketing urban brand and urban marketing. As a result of study, place attachment was positively influenced by urban brand recognition, attitude, and behavior. Especially, place affection had a great influence on tourism image and residence image, but had a relatively low influence on investment image. Place attachment has a positive effect on city brand attitude and loyalty. In this case, it is proved that the influence on city brand loyalty is great. The policy implications of this study are as follows. The local government should provide and manage the local facilities from a long-term point of view in order to increase place attachment of the local residents and visitors, as well as publicity and marketing necessary for urban brand. In addition, the local government should prepare and operate various projects and programs for residents and visitors to increase place attachment.

        Automatic Defect Detection from SEM Images of Wafers using Component Tree

        In this paper, we propose a novel defect detection method using component tree representations of scanning electron microscopy (SEM) images. The component tree contains rich information about the topological structure of images such as the stiffness of intensity changes, area, and volume of the lobes. This information can be used effectively in detecting suspicious defect areas. A quasi-linear algorithm is available for constructing the component tree and computing these attributes. In this paper, we modify the original component tree algorithm to be suitable for our defect detection application. First, we exclude pixels that are near the ground level during the initial stage of component tree construction. Next, we detect significant lobes based on multiple attributes and edge information. Our experiments performed with actual SEM wafer images show promising results. For a 1000 × 1000 image, the proposed algorithm performed the whole process in 1.36 seconds.

        Median Filtering Detection using Latent Growth Modeling

        최근에 위,변조 영상의 처리이력 복구를 위한 포렌식 툴로서 미디언 필터링 (MF: Median Filtering) 검출기가 크게 고려되고 있다. 미디언 필터링의 분류를 위한 미디언 검출기는 적은 양의 특징 셋과 높은 검출율을 갖도록 설계되어야 한다. 본 논문은 변조된 영상의 미디언 필터링 검출을 위한 새로운 방법을 제안한다. BMP를 미디언 윈도우 사이즈에 의하여 여러 미디언 필터링 영상으로 변환하고, 윈도우 사이즈에 따른 차분포 값을 계산하여 그 값으로 미디언 필터링 윈도우 사이즈와 같은 특징 셋을 만든다. 미디언 필터링 검출기에서, 특징 셋은 잠재성장 모델링 (LFM: Latent Growth Modeling)을 사용하는 모델 특성으로 변환된다. 실험에서, 테스트 영상은 TP (True Positive)와 FN (False Negative) 두 분류로 판별된다. 제안된 알고리즘은 분류 효율성이 TP와 FN의 혼동에서 최소거리 평균이 0.119로서 훌륭한 성능임이 확인 되었다. In recent times, the median filtering (MF) detector as a forensic tool for the recovery of forgery images' processing history has concerned broad interest. For the classification of MF image, MF detector should be designed with smaller feature set and higher detection ratio. This paper presents a novel method for the detection of MF in altered images. It is transformed from BMP to several kinds of MF image by the median window size. The difference distribution values are computed according to the window sizes and then the values construct the feature set same as the MF window size. For the MF detector, the feature set transformed to the model specification which is computed using latent growth modeling (LGM). Through experiments, the test image is classified by the discriminant into two classes: the true positive (TP) and the false negative (FN). It confirms that the proposed algorithm is to be outstanding performance when the minimum distance average is 0.119 in the confusion of TP and FN for the effectivity of classification.
