        In this study, I offered research of e-Trading Company System that is the supporting system of domestic small & medium sized Company(SMEs) and could observe that is trying to propel the e-Trade according as general trading companies have e-Trade era and existent role is shrunk in advance research. Also, studied about e-Trade inter-agency which shows at regulation of the Foreign Trade Act and finally examined the study of present state analysis about e-Trade activation of small & medium sized company. Was full in an in-depth advance study than existent study, and consultation of e-Trading company system & analysis is received from MOCIE and person who concerned in KITA. From the case study about e-Trading Company System that propelled for 3 years, I had the valuable result data from three e-Trading Companies' clerks and could systematically analyze it. Through this study, there are varieties of e-Trade supporting system for domestic SMEs, but it could observe that e-Trading Company System is developing for more fitting at present Trade -paradigm. Also, there are some problems found, but it seems to be fully improved. At last finishing this study, there is still remaining the research subject about e-Trade supporting system of domestic & foreign SMEs.

        한국의 전자무역의 발전방안에 관한 연구

        전자무역관련된 한국정부의 정책은 다음과 같이 요약된다. 첫번째, 산업자원부는 2001년 5월에 21세기 새로운 수출동력 전자무역종합육성시책을 수립하였고 두번째, 2003년 8월 30일에 전자무역확산전략을 수립하였다. 세번째, 한국정부는 제1차 국가전자무역위원회에서 21세기 무역부국실현을 위한 전자무역촉진 3개년계획을 확정하였다. 네번째, 제2차회의에서 국가전자무역위원회는 전자무역혁신계획 -e-Trade 2007-을 발표하였다. 다섯번째, 2006년 8월의 전자무역명품화사업계획은 전술한 전자무역혁신계획의 2차년도와 3차년도 기간중의 홍보에 치중하고 있다. 본 논문은 한국의 전자무역정책과 e-Trade 플랫폼을 다루고 그 연구목적은 한국의 전자무역문제점을 해결함으로써 전자무역의 발전에 기여하는 것이다. Korean Government's e-Trade related policies are summarized as follows; firstly, Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Energy(MOCIE) announced "e-Trade Total Development Policy as a New Export Drive for 21st Century on May, 2001. Secondly, Korean Government established Strategy on Effusion of e-Trade on 12 August, 2003. Thirdly, Korean Government finalized a There-Year Plan for e-Trade Promotion to accelerate trade power for 21st century by the first meeting of Korean National e-Trade Committee. Fourthly, in the second meeting, Korean National e-Trade Committee published e-Trade Innovation Project titled as e-Trade Korea 2007. Fifthly, Project on enhancing famous brand on e-Trade on August, 2006 focuses on promotion during second and third years of e-Trade Innovation Plan as said This paper deals with Korea' e-Trade Policy and e-Trade Platform and the purpose of this paper is to contribute to the development of e-Trade by resolving problems of e-Trade in Korea.

        E-Trade Practices and Performance of Korean Enterprises

        Purpose: The purpose of this study is to propose a better alternative method by examining whether the existing study divides the level of e-trade practices into the extent of e-trade and degree of e-trade. In addition, we tried to derive implications by comparing importance-performance analysis’s (IPA s) importance-performance with the important attributes of e-trade. Composition/Logic: Section I provides a background and the goal of the study. In Section II, we examined prior studies related to utilization of e-trade. Subsequently, we drew a research hypothesis based on previous studies. Research design was constructed in Section III; we proposed the research model based on the theoretical background and discussed how to measure. Empirical analysis was conducted by structural equation modeling in Section IV. Section V concluded the study by summarizing the findings and discussed implications. Findings: The extent of e-trade and the degree of e-trade can be considered as sub-factors of the practice level of e-trade. Namely, the model fit-index reflecting the second-order model structure was excellent, which is likely to be applied to future research. In addition, we pointed out the strengths and weaknesses of e-trade of Korean firms through IPA. Specially, we showed a problem in the marketing process in e-trade due to the low level of utilization. Originality/Value: This study extends the theoretical viewpoints of e-trade in that the study integrates the practices of e-trade, which have been divided into the extent of e-trade and degree of e-trade in the prior studies. In addition, by introducing IPA in the field of e-trade, we are definitely presenting the strengths and deficiencies of Korea companies that are conducting e-trade.

        전자무역촉진법의 주요쟁점과 개선방안

          To support the e-Trade, the related e-trade law was consolidated and the e-Trade Promotion Act was enacted in Korea. So, in this paper, after examining the main contents, issues and supporting systems for e-Trade promotion in the e-Trade Promotion Act 2006, we would like to suggest some improvement plans the Act.<BR>  For these purposes, this paper is organised as follows. Chapter I introduces the necessities and purposes of this paper. Chapter Ⅱ considers the related e-trade law in Korea, such as the Foreign Trade Law, the e-Trade Promotion Act and so on. Chapter Ⅲ considers the main contents and key issues of the e-Trade Promotion Act in Korea. Chapter Ⅳ analyzes some problems and suggests plans for improving the clauses of the e-Trade Promotion Act in Korea. In conclusion, it is necessary that we should clarify the range and subject of e-Trade, consider a reasonable management of the e-Trade Platform and provide a method for fair competition between the e-Trade Service Provider and the e-Trade Platform Operator. Also, Government should support the training of e-Trade experts for developing the e-trade in Korea.

        한국형 전자선하증권 활성화 전략에 관한 연구

        Korea has accomplished the establishment of the National Single Window for Paperless Trade. Since 1991, it has developed Trade Automation Service System based on EDI technology. In 2003, Korean government and private sectors jointly began to set up National Paperless Trade Service(e-Trade Service) as one of the e-government projects and in 2008, they commenced the uTradeHub Service which was equipped with Internet based e-B/L and e-Nego service systems for the first time in the world. To facilitate the service Korea amended its e-Trade facilitation Act and Commerce Law by 2007. At the end of 2011, Korea historically recorded its trade volume of 1 trillion US dollars and joined ‘$1 trillion trade club’ as the 9the member country since the country had started international trade less than a half decade ago. A successful rolling out of the e-B/L and e-Nego service will substantially reduce the transaction costs of trading businesses and accelerate the activation e-trade services. The purposes of the study are to examine 'e-B/L Korea' service and its facilitation strategies as well as identify obstacles to utilize the 'e-B/L Korea' service. The paper reviewed and analyzed Korea's Paperless trade system and distinctive characteristics of the 'e-B/L Korea Service. Parts of the found distinctive characteristics of the Korea's e-B/L service are as follows; It is well equiped with IT infrastructure and legal system. It also has more that 30,000 potential users who are already uTradeHub service users. The paper indicated several weaknesses of the current system such as global KPI issues, circulation of the electronic documents not only in the domestic market but also among economies, development of the electronic Bill of Exchange. As resolution measures, the paper recommended the introduction of mutual recognition system of PKI among trade partner countries, setting up e-trade solution for small and medium companies, and special attention to raise users' awareness of the e-B/L service. 우리나라는 2003년부터 2008년까지 전자정부 과제로 인터넷기반의 국가전자무역망(uTradeHub)을 성공적으로 구축하여 무역의 전자화를 활성화하고 있으며, 전자무역의 마지막 단계라고 불리는 선하증권(B/L)을 전자화한 ‘한국형 전자선하증권 서비스(e-B/L Korea)’를 정부와 민간의 협력 하에 구축하여 시범사업을 거쳐 2009년에 공식적으로 전자선하증권 서비스에 들어갔다. 국가적 차원에서 상법을 개정하고 시행령을 만들어 선하증권을 제도화한 것은 세계 최초이며 세계 각국이 이의 성공여부에 지대한 관심을 가지고 주목하고 있다. 한국형 선하증권의 성공은 2011년 말을 기점으로 우리나라가 세계에서 9번째로 무역 1조불 클럽에 가입한 ‘무역강국’의 위상을 높이고 실질적으로 우리 수출입기업의 무역거래비용을 절감함으로써 향후 무역 2조불시대를 앞당길 전자무역 활성화의 시금석으로 인식되고 있다. 하지만 아직은 국가 간 연계구축망이 부재하고, 서류의 보안성과 안전성을 높이기 위한 전자인증이 국제적으로 통용되고 있는 사적인증을 배제하고 국내공인인증만을 취급하는 등 e-B/L 서비스를 활성화하기 위해서 해결해야할 문제점도 산적해 있어 실질적으로 e-Nego 서비스가 크게 확산되지 못하는 실정이다. 따라서 본 연구는 e-Nego 또는 서면전환 과정에서 발생할 수 있는 한국형 전자선하증권의 변형에 따른 문제점을 비롯하여 구조적, 제도적 문제점과 사용상 장애요인을 도출하여 이에 대한 해결방안을 제시하였으며, 한국형 전자선하증권의 특성을 검토하고 동 서비스 활용을 활성화하기 위한 전략을 제시하였다.

        e-Trade 플랫폼의 효율적 운영을 위한 선결과제

        The purpose of this paper is to examine some problems of the e-trade platform in Korea, and propose its improvement plans For these purposes, this paper is organised as follows Chapter Ⅰ introduces the necessities and purposes of this paper Chapter Ⅱ considers the precedent researches on single window and e-Trade Platform. Chapter Ⅲ considers the concept of single window and e-Trade Platform, and analyzes some cases of single window and e-Trade platform, such as USA's ITDS, Japan's TEDI and Korea's e-Trade Platform etc Chapter Ⅵ examines the problems relating to operating the e-Trade Platform and propose its improvement plans In conclusion, For efficient operating the e-Trade Platform, First, it is necessary that the operator should be retain the public interest and the fairness in management of that Second, We should be able to use e-Nego system and e-B/L system, and get the international standard of electronic data for developing the e-Trade by using the e-Trade Platform. And finally, the e-Trade Platform be linked with the e-trade networks in the world

        전자무역거래의 신뢰환경과 거래당사자 참여에 관한 실증연구

        Focusing on the critical issue of trust in the e-Trade, this study analyzes the effect of social variables on the e-Trade trust. Moreover, this paper examines the relationship between trust environment in e-Trade transaction, perceived risk, and trading partner's participation. In general, when trade related parties utilizes e-Trade, they want to recognize how much risks it has in e-Trade transaction. Results of this study are as follows; First, it found very important variables that independent variables(the building trust between trade parties, safety, and efficiency in the e-trade) influence on the trust of e-trade transaction. In particular, the trust relationship building before trade parties utilizes the e-trade exerts much influence in e-Trade trust. Second, we analyzed the relationship between trust environment in e-Trade transaction, perceived risk, and trading partner's participation. The independent variables(the building trust between trade parties, safety, and efficiency in the e-trade) positively influence e-Trade trust. But perceived risk has negative effects on the trading partner's participation. Therefore, it could say that trust in e-Trade is mainly affected by trust building factors between trade parties.

      • 충북 수출기업의 정보기술 활용성과 실태 분석을 통한 전자무역 활성화 방안

        This paper tries finding out activating way of the Usage Level and Performance of e-Trade in Chungbuk's Exporting Companies. While there are about 6,000 companies in Chungbuk Province, 1,600 companies were registered for international trade. Among them, 500 exporting companies that have been conducted international trade during last three years were selected for survey. According to the survey, overall awareness level of e-Trade was very low. Especially, more than a half of surveyed exporting companies showed less than 20% of their e-Trade's leverage ratio, while less than 15% of the surveyed companies showed more than 80%. The awareness level of simplified business processes and reduction costs showed high level of e-Trade benefits but the others, such as customers in the excavation, advertising & marketing, and trade information were somewhat low. The highest usage level of e-trade was marketing promotion and came to next position of customs clearance and transportation, international information, meanwhile dispute settlement was low. This result is very similar to those of prior research shown. In regard to the difficulties of using e-trade factors, lack of specialized personnel and technology infrastructure were the most highly selective. Small and Medium Enterprises(SMEs) in Chungbuk also had similar difficulties to adapt e-trade same as the results of previous research showed that SMEs usally had. In order to enable e-Trade, trade management system and strengthening the prevalence supporting project seems to be a topic that appears most highly. Therefore, it must be considered that the central and local government support such projects for SMEs, because both human and material resource of SMEs are inferior to those of lagre companies. Enabling of e-Trade also must be included a policy of promoting and continuing education, that is the most significant point and SMEs desired. The corresponding measures to overcome these problems must be included the ways that Chungbuk accurately determines the status of local businesses through field survey and be established support programs based on the e-Trade. And a combination of online and offline that blended learning should be conducted after systemized those programs. The customized consulting and operation of the systems with the target companies should be also conducted continuously. In addition to these promotion, furthermore, advertizing for the e-Trade will be continued. Since the current development of electronic trading on the changes in information technology has been growing, these trends must be checked periodically and expanded the supporting systems continually. Finally, as the e-Trade is also a way to activate trade, Chungbuk government should prepare road map for its own trade policy(CTRIEM), put the policy in the e-trade area and review the policy comprehensively and systematically. -

        E-Trade Korea 2007 Plan and Cooperation with Japan

        Projects on international cooperation for the global B2B market and the expansion of e-commerce into other regions are being encouraged. Korea is continuing to identify policies and tasks in order to keep up with new changes in the market. The Korean government, private institutes, and research centers are participating in this process. Korea s MOCIE, along with KCALS and KTNET, have supported the Korea e-Trade Hub Project. Korea wants to act as the e-AMP Business Center for the operation of the e-Trade Hub project. Korea expanded the e-Trade Hub Project by involving China and other countries in its supply chain management, while the Korea/Japan e-Trade project was a test case for the success of the e-Hub Strategy in Northeast Asia. For Korea to act as the e-AMP Business center, the problems faced by the Electronic Title Registry regarding Electronic Letters of Credit and the Electronic Document Registry and Repository, must be resolved. Cooperation between Korea and Japan will be needed for the implementation of an e-Bill of Lading and Electronic Letter of Credit. This paper deals with Korea s e-Trade Policies such as Korea s Three-Year Plan to Accelerate e-Trade, E-Trade Korea 2007.
