        모던볼룸댄스의 미학적 탐색

        신체의 자유로운 움직임과 표현기법을 바탕으로 조화와 아름다움을 표현하는 경기용의 고도화된 기술의 모던볼룸댄스는 신체적 발달과 미적 가치를 동시에 충족시켜 주는 예술적 창조행위인 댄스스포츠의 한 영역이다. 이 연구에서는 모던볼룸댄스의 이론적 연구의 현황을 인식하고 그 지평에서 칸딘스키 예술론의 점․선․면을 중심으로 모던볼룸댄스를 미적 대상으로서 예술작품에서의 객관주의적 미학에서 바라보아 ‘아래로부터의 미학(Ästhetik von unten)' 방법론의 입장에서, 일반적인 내용은 물론 미학적인 성격까지 아우르는 모던볼룸댄스의 미학적 의미를 고찰하였다. 특히 춤동작에서의 여러 가지 선은 몸을, 크고 작은 점들은 손과 발을 나타내는데, 그것들이 마치 무용수의 동작처럼 리듬이 넘치는 공간을 창조한다는 사실과 함께 모던볼룸댄스의 심미적 분석을 구명하였다. 아울러 이러한 미학적인 탐색에 앞서 모던볼룸댄스에 대한 일반적인 내용의 서술을 통해 그 특성을 명확히 하였으며, 일반 미학에서의 미학적 논의를 살피면서 댄스스포츠미학의 가능성을 탐색하였다. Modern ballroom dance, which displays high-degree of dancing techniques designed for competition dance, expressing harmony and beauty on the basis of free movement and representation techniques, is a creative, artistic dance sports sector that satisfies both physical development and aesthetic value. In this study, by starting with the recognition of the current theoretical study trend regarding modern ballroom dance, overall aesthetic meanings of modern ballroom dance from general information to aesthetic feature of modern ballroom dance, were examined in the perspective of 'Ästhetik von unten', by looking into the modern ballroom dance as an aesthetic object with reference to the objective aesthetics, focusing on the Kandinsky's art theory of point, line, and plane. Particularly in dance movements, as various lines represent a body, and a variety of points stand for hands and feet, with the fact that those lines and points create a space full of rhythm as if they were part of a movement of a dancer, the aesthetic analysis of modern ballroom dance was conducted. In addition, in advance to this aesthetic exploration, the features of modern ballroom dance were clarified by the description of general information regarding modern ballroom dance, and by looking into the aesthetic discussion in general aesthetics, the potential of the aesthetics of dance sports was examined.

        모던댄스 적용에 따른 골감소증 노인여성의 골대사 지표 및 아디포사이토카인 변화

        The purpose of this study is to propose an effective exercise for the prevention of osteoporosis by analyzing changes in bone metabolism markers and adipocytokines according to the application of modern dance. The objects were selected between t-score -1.0 to -2.5 and subjects were random assigned to the modern dance group(n=10) and control group(n=10). Modern dance was held three times a week for 60min, for 12weeks. For data analysis, two-way repeated measures ANOVA was analyzed using SPSS. As a result of the study, both osteocalcin(p<.01) and T-score(p<.05) were significantly increased in the modern dance group. Adiponectin(p<.05) was increased significantly and Both TNF-α (p<.05) and IL-6(p<.05) were significantly decreased in the modern dance group. As a result, modern dance is considered to be an effective strategy to prevent osteoporosis, and it is expected to have a positive effect on metabolism and function improvement in elderly women with osteopenia. 본 연구는 골감소증 노인 여성들을 대상으로 모던댄스 적용에 따른 골대사 지표 및 아디포사이토카인의 변화를 분석하여 골다공증 예방을 위한 효과적인 운동 방법을 제안하는데 있다. 연구의대상자는 T-score -1.0 ~ -2.5사이 여성노인을 선정하였고, 모던댄스 그룹(n=10), 컨트롤 그룹(n=10) 으로 무선 배정했다. 모던댄스는 주3회, 60분씩 12주간 실시하였고 자료 분석은 SPSS를 이용해 이원반복분산분석(two-way repeated measures ANOVA)으로 분석했다. 본 연구 결과 모던댄스 그룹에서 osteocalcin(p<.01), T-score(p<.05)가 유의하게 증가했다. Adiponectin(p<.05)은 모던댄스 그룹에서유의하게 증가했고, TNF-α(p<.05), IL-6(p<.05)는 모두 모던댄스 그룹에서 유의하게 감소하였다. 이상의 결과를 종합해 보면 모던댄스는 골감소증 노인여성의 골다공증 예방을 위해 효과적인 전략이 될 것으로 사료되며 더불어 신진대사 및 기능 향상에도 긍정적인 영향을 미칠 것으로 생각된다.

        댄스스포츠의 미학적 탐색 -모던볼룸댄스를 중심으로-

        이 연구는 댄스스포츠의 미학적 탐색에 있어 모던볼룸댄스를 중심으로 진행하였다. 댄스와 스포츠의 혼합 장르로서 모던볼룸댄스는 아름답고 우아함을 웅장한 느낌으로 연출하며, 움직임이 부드럽고 때론 강하게 표현되는 경기용의 테크닉을 밸런스로 집약시켜 표현하는 다섯 종목에서 심미적 특질을 미학적으로 탐색하였다. 특히 신체미, 동작미, 공간미, 리듬미라는 네 가지 미적 범주의 틀을 구성하여 그것으로부터 모던볼룸댄스의 심미적 특성을 규명하였다. 그 결과 모던볼룸댄스는 상체와 하체를 토대로 하는 움직임과 발과 다리, 몸 전체 움직임에서 신체미가 발산되며, 무게 중심점의 공간 이동을 통해 체중이동에서 뜨기와 가라앉기, 헤드 액션, 느리고 빠른 동작을 통해 동작미가 나타난다. 그리고 하나의 드라마가 연출되는 듯한 공간미는 방향을 공유하고 회전하며 중심점의 공간이동 및 전체공간을 이동하며 형성되고, 특유의 리듬과 박자를 바탕으로 한 남녀의 다양한 움직임 속에서 리듬미를 자신의 심미감으로 표출한다는 사실을 확인하였다. 또한 연구자는 연구대상인 모던볼룸댄스를 미적 대상으로 삼아 예술의 기본구조인 예술가-작품-감상자의 미적 현상 속에 위치시키는 미학적 탐색을 시도하였다. This is a study on aesthetic approach to dance sports focusing on modern ballroom dance. The aesthetic feature of modern ballroom dance, the mixed genre of dance and sports was approached through its five events which are performed with a beautiful, graceful and magnificent impression integrating its sporty technique that expressed placidly sometimes and powerfully the other times into balance. In particular, four aesthetic categories such as beauty of body, beauty of movement, beauty of space and beauty of rhythm were composed prior to the identification of aesthetic feature of modern ballrooom dance. Consequently, it was found that the beauty of body while performing modern ballroom dance was released through the movement centered in upper and lower bodies, while the beauty of movement worked off through the movement of the weight of rise & fall, head action, slow and qui처 action in the space. As far the beauty of space[spatial beauty]through which a drama seems to be played rotating to the same direction and formed through the movement of the midpoint into space & the whole space, identified that it expresses its rhythmical beauty as its aesthetic sense through various movement of a pair of man and woman to a unique rhythm and beat. Besides, this researcher has attempted an aesthetic approach to place the modern ballroom dance, the target of this study in an aesthetic phenomenon of an artist-work-appreciator which is the framework of art.

        컨템퍼러리 댄스에 나타나는 자기 변형 (self-transformation)의 특성에 관한 연구 - 프란시스 스파샷의 이론을 중심으로 -

        Francis Sparshott explains how dancer’s body can deviate from social being and be given the artistic value through the concept of self-transformation. It is the specificity of dance that enter into the sacred area beyond everyday life through self-transformation. It seems to have limit, however, that explains contemporary dance with his concept of self-transformation that is transformed into the specific role or sacred being. Therefore, this study presents that the value of dance is not only sacredness given through the self-transformation but also the process of showing human through anonymous body. Dance had been valued highly by it’s sacredness and beauty which gained through self-transformation but it is time to evaluate it by new point of view. The result of self-transformation in contemporary dance is the anonymous body which earned by separating from the purpose of everyday life and through it dance gets originality instead of sacredness. It is the new value in contemporary dance to show a different world through an unfamiliar body to audience as a ‘realizer’ of hidden side of human being, not by depending on disguised skill for the illusion of beauty.

        Comparison Study for Body Composition and Physical Function Fitness to the According of Exercise Type in Elderly Women

        본 연구의 목적은 여성노인을 대상으로 모던댄스, 아쿠아로빅, 복합운동 프로그램을 실시한 후 신체조성과 신체기능체력에 대한 변화 비교하여 여성노인에게 가장 적합한 운동이 무엇인지를 살펴보고자 실시되었다. 연구의 대상자는 J도에 거주하는 노인여성 47명을 대상으로 MDG(n=13) AEG(n=11), CEG(n=11), CG(n=12)을 무작위로 집단을 모집하여 12주간 주3회 1시간씩 운동을 실시하였다. 이 연구의 결과 통제그룹에 비해 grip strength, chair stand, arm curl, 2 minute step, 244cm up and go에서 유의한 차이를 보였으며, Back scratch는 MDG와 CEG에서만 운동 후 유의하게 감소하였으나 Chair sit and reach에서는 변화가 보이지 않았다. 본 연구결과 운동그룹 중 모던댄스(MDG)가 운동 후 가장 많은 신체기능체력이 향상된 것으로 나타났으며, 노인들에게 유연성과 관절의 가동성을 증진 시킬 수 있는 추가적인 운동프로그램이 필요하다. 또한 자신의 흥미에 맞는 운동을 자발적으로 참여하여 지속성 있게 하는 것이 중요할 것으로 생각된다. The purpose of this study was to examine the most suitable exercise for the elderly women by comparing the changes in body composition and physical function fitness after modern dance, aquarobic and combined exercise programs for the elderly women. The subjects of this study were 47 elderly women in J-do, chosen as MDG(n=13), AEG(n=11), CEG(n=11) and CG(n=12) for participated for 60 minutes/day and three times/wk for 12 weeks. The results of grip strength, chair stand, arm curl, 2 minute step, 244cm up and go was significantly than in the control group. Back scratch was decreased significantly after exercise only in the modern dance group and combined exercise group but there was no change in chair sit and reach. These results suggest that various exercises were found to play a positive role in maintaining and improving fitness for the elderly women. In addition, additional exercise programs are needed to improve flexibility and mobility of joints for the elderly. It is thought that it is important to voluntarily participate in a movement that suits your interests to make it sustainable.

        20세기 춤의 현대화 과정에 나타난 심리표현의 특성 - 예술심리학의 논의와 비교를 중심으로 -

        The purpose of this study is to analyze contemporary discussions over psychology of art comparatively with the characteristics of psychological expressions shown in the process of modernization of the 20th century dance. The modernization of the 20th century dance shares modernism’s ‘existing system and criticism over tradition’ and ‘subjective experience and individualistic’ characteristics. Also, regarding the psychological expressions of modern dance and modern ballet, major discussions and comparative analysis of experimental psychology, psychoanalysis, and Gestalt psychology show that the modernization of dance gave and received influence with the ideology of the time. There has been no research so far that deals with psychological expressions shown in the 20th century modern dance in relation with psychology of art of that time. This study is significant in that it has discovered the contact point that art of dance exchanges with the ideology of the time beyond a certain choreographer’s expressive method or a microscopic view to a dance work and also suggested a macroscopic point of view that can figure out the position of dance among the aesthetic flows of the other arts.

        탄츠테아터와 무대미술

        Scenography is recognized as a very important area in performance. However, the reality is that it is limited in play and dance and does not deviate much from its ancillary functions and roles. It was through a variety of experimental plays and dances that stage art began to be judged and noticed as independent art work after the 20th century, based on German expressionist art. After the postmodern era since the 1970s, Pina Bausch's Tanzteater, which provided a very large foundation for influence and development in scenography to date, has achieved revolutionary attempts and achievements in the dance field. Through their work, they provided the development and theoretical foundation of modern scenography. Scenography, which can be found in the works of Tanzteater, has shown a new theatricality. Scenography, which has been differentiated according to the characteristics of each field through dance and play, has laid the groundwork for performing its functions as a more active and active experimental performance through the work of Tanzteater. Scenography, which has not deviated far from the factual representations due to its decorative and artistic expression for visual enjoyment and its functional aspects for performance, has played a very important role in scenography of dance and theater through the excellent interpretation and use of the experimental stage space of Tanzteater, which has been greatly influenced by German expressionism. I hope that this will be an opportunity to examine the concept and role of scenography as an essential and aesthetic element of theater and dance by analyzing their various works, especially the concept of the Tanzteater represented by Pina Bausch, which has developed in an environment that transcends the boundaries of expressionism and postmodern genres.
