T'he electrical insulative life of cross-linked polyethylene used as an insulating material in power cable is predicted in this paper. The experiment is progressed velocity theoretically. In this experiment, supplied experimental voltage under the condition of equivalent temperature, and then Arrhenius equation is applied. To get the span of life vs. temperature characteristics, the relation between the logarithm value of life and the reciporical of temperature are extended as a straight line, after that the span of life is predicted. In case of raising the temperature of sample linear type, to get the breakdown temperature vs. raising velocity of temperature characteristics, after developed the Arrhenius equation a little more, Predcted the span of life about cross-linked polyethylene semi-theoreticalliy. The results of this experiment are as follows: 1) The experimental values for the prediction of the span of life between at the case of equivalent tamperature and variable temperature are a little different. 2) The phenomenon of insulation breakdown which is based upon Tree breakdown can get by ineans of the velocity theory. 3) To get the life characteristics, the velocity theory is applied, The theoretical values and experimental values are aimost equal. Therefore, the propriety ut above method is confirmed

The ideal Rankine cycle is generally empoloyed by engineers as a standard of reference for comparing the Performaance of actual steam engines and steam turbin. The Joule cycle, also called Brayton cycle, consosts to two lsentropics and two constant Pressure lines. The Joule eycle has assumed renewed importance as a basis for analysis of gas turbine operation. A studied results in view of thermo-engineering odjection in the two Phase-fluid flow of compound cycle to use power plant is presented in this paper.

최근엔 시각적으로 측정되는 정보를 포용할 수 있는 Robotic System이 개발되고 있다. 이런 이유로 본논문에서는 Vision system내에서 Camera의 위치와 manipulator의 동력학적 model을 근거로 실험을 통하여, 한정된 평면 궤적을 그리는 상태를 camera와 manipulator을 병열로 놓고 측정함으로써 camera가 manipulator 조정을 위한 정보를 얻고자 하였다. 결과적으로 Camera와 manipulator의 위치를 동작기구의 작동을 통하여 Real-time내에 형성된 algorithm을 계산함으로써 궤적을 찾을 수가 있었다.

Mechatronic engineering have made remarkable progress by developement of mechanics and electronics in recent. This paper reports a design and fabrication of a multijoint robot using a microprocessor (6502) and stepping motors. To put it concretely, in the hardware, interface which acts stepping motors was made and in the softwae, a machine language program which controls stepping motors and a simulation program was constructed.

The summarized results as follow. Electronic Control System varied Spark plug Gap, and rpm, and catalyst apparatus, CO ,HC exhausted less and made the optimum control of the air-fuel ratio. In case of the Spark Plug Gap 1.0mm, Spark Timing 15 degree and rpm 3000. Exhaust gas such as CO, HC reduced and Electronic control Engine of feed back control was effective in the spark timing control and reduced the amount of CO, HC but carburetor didn't work on the same way.

The most common starting method of the single phase induction motor(SPIM) is to install a starting condenser and a centrifugal switch in series with the auxiliary winding. Even though this condender start method is embodied simply, it is feasible because of motor failure from malfunction of the centrifugal switch and the starting condenser. Moreover, it is hard to improve the performance characteristics of the SPIM. In this paper, the starting charcteristics of SPIM is improved by phase control strategy of auxiliary winding in removing a starting condenser and a centrifugal switch. Finally, the excellent starting performance of SPIM is shown through simulation and experimental results.

The primary concern in designing any PV system is the determination of its optimum size. It is generally inadequate to use monthly or daily average insolation, and estimated number of continuous no sun days to determine array and battery capacities because the dynamic behavior of PV system and the stochastic nature of solar radiation also significantly influence the required array and storage capacity. Simulation method uses hourly meterological data and hourly load data to simulate the energy flow in a PV system, and predicts the system reliabilities under assumed array and battery size. This paper choose the loss of load hours as the system reliability index, and considers a residential system which consumes 2 kwh of electricity per day, as a case study. The meteorological data for the simulation are on data in Korea.

In this study, When CFRP composite laminates involved difference of stacking sequences and kinds of matrices are subjected to transverse impact, An experimental study was performed by observing the following items; a) interrelations between the impact energy vs. delamination area vs. the residual bending strength. The results were summarized as follows; 1. It is found that orthotropic laminate materials are all increasing lineally between impact energy and damage delamination area. 2. Delamination development energy of CF/EPOXY laminated materals, that is, slope of delamination area by impact energy is lower than that of CF/PEEK (orthotopic laminated materals). 3. CF/EPOXY specimens D of laminated orientation (0°_4/90°_4)_sym. shows that impact damage of impacted-side compression is higher than that of impacted side tension, whereas CF/PEEK specimen P with the same stacking sequences indicates that impact damage of impacted-side tension is higher than that of impacted-side compression, for delamination buckling is generated at delamination area of interface B subjected to compression.

Object-Oriented data model provides possibility of various types of utilization of information in a real world, therefore database system should have a cpapbility of incomplete information management. In this paper, we defines a object-oriented data model using O_2 object-oriented database system and suggested some representation of ambiguous value based on preceded studies about it. O_2 is object-oriented : Information is organized as object which have an identity and encapsulate data and behavior. We have shown that ambiguous value can be expressed within an object instance using null value and some interesting analogies are shown in the way that nested relational data model and the object-oriented model express empty set.
