        Preparation and Characterization of Emulsified Solid Dispersions Containing Docetaxel

        An emulsified solid dispersion of docetaxel was prepared and characterized in vitro. In contrast to conventional solid dispersions, emulsifying pharmaceutical excipients and hydroxypropyl methylcellulose (HPMC) as a supersaturation promoter were introduced into the PEG6000-based solid dispersion to further improve its solubilizing capability. The solubility, dissolution in vitro and stability of the prepared emulsified solid dispersions were studied taking into consideration of the effects of different emulsifying excipients, preparation methods and the media. Results of the emulsified solid dispersion of docetaxel showed that the solubility and dissolution at 2 h were 34.2- and 12.7-fold higher than the crude powder. The type of emulsifying excipient used had a significant influence on the dissolution of the emulsified solid dispersion. The dissolution of the emulsified solid dispersion prepared by the solvent-melting method or the solvent method was higher than the melting method. There were no apparent differences among the dissolution media utilized. The status of the drug in the emulsified solid dispersion was observed in an amorphous or a molecular dispersion state by differential thermal analysis and powder Xray diffraction. In conclusion, the incorporation of emulsifying pharmaceutical excipients and HPMC with polymers into a solid dispersion could be a new and useful tool to greatly increase the solubility and dissolution of poorly water-soluble drugs.

        Direct Chemical Vapor Deposition-Derived Graphene Glasses Targeting Wide Ranged Applications

        <P>Direct growth of graphene on traditional glasses is of great importance for various daily life applications. We report herein the catalyst-free atmospheric-pressure chemical vapor deposition approach to directly synthesizing large-area, uniform graphene films on solid glasses. The optical transparency and sheet resistance of such kinds of graphene glasses can be readily adjusted together with the experimentally tunable layer thickness of graphene. More significantly, these graphene glasses find a broad range of real applications by enabling the low-cost construction of heating devices, transparent electrodes, photocatalytic plates, and smart windows.         The natural product salicin alleviates osteoarthritis progression by binding to IRE1α and inhibiting endoplasmic reticulum stress through the IRE1α-IκBα-p65 signaling pathway

        Despite the high prevalence of osteoarthritis (OA) in older populations, disease-modifying OA drugs (DMOADs) are still lacking. This study was performed to investigate the effects and mechanisms of the small molecular drug salicin (SA) on OA progression. Primary rat chondrocytes were stimulated with TNF-α and treated with or without SA. Inflammatory factors, cartilage matrix degeneration markers, and cell proliferation and apoptosis markers were detected at the mRNA and protein levels. Cell proliferation and apoptosis were evaluated by EdU assays or flow cytometric analysis. RNA sequencing, molecular docking and drug affinity-responsive target stability analyses were used to clarify the mechanisms. The rat OA model was used to evaluate the effect of intra-articular injection of SA on OA progression. We found that SA rescued TNF-α-induced degeneration of the cartilage matrix, inhibition of chondrocyte proliferation, and promotion of chondrocyte apoptosis. Mechanistically, SA directly binds to IRE1α and occupies the IRE1α phosphorylation site, preventing IRE1α phosphorylation and regulating IRE1α-mediated endoplasmic reticulum (ER) stress by IRE1α-IκBα-p65 signaling. Finally, intra-articular injection of SA-loaded lactic-co-glycolic acid (PLGA) ameliorated OA progression by inhibiting IRE1α-mediated ER stress in the OA model. In conclusion, SA alleviates OA by directly binding to the ER stress regulator IRE1α and inhibits IRE1α-mediated ER stress via IRE1α-IκBα-p65 signaling. Topical use of the small molecular drug SA shows potential to modify OA progression.

        Thermal Gradients and Their Effects on Bending Behavior of Composite Girders with Trapezoidal Profiled Webs

        Thermal gradient may have significant effect on the bending behavior of the composite girderwith trapezoidal profiled web. To quantify such an effect on the thermos-strain action,temperature elevation test and finite element modeling were carried out on the specimenswith the flange sensitive to bending and the web possessed adequate buckling resistance. Thecross-sectional thermal gradients for different location away from the middle of span weremeasured using thermocouples and correlated using Boltzmann sigmoid equations. Theapplicability of finite element model was validated against experiments in terms of thedistribution of thermal strain, deflections and axial strains. The axial strain distributions acrossthe flange width and along the longitudinal direction of girder were analyzed in details. Thetesting and finite element modeling results showed that, the deflections with applied loadsnear the middle of span subjected to maximum bending moment are notably influenced bythe increase of thermal gradient. The maximum axial strains at the upper surface and thelower surface of the bottom flange are obviously influenced by the temperature, especially forthe girders with relatively high span-depth ratios or thicker flanges. The thermal gradient at theupper surface of the bottom flange is relatively higher than that on lower surface for every10oC rise of temperature which meant that the upper surface of the bottom flange connectingtrapezoidal profiled webs is more sensitive to thermo-elastic action.

        Robot Manipulator Visual Servoing via Kalman Filter- Optimized Extreme Learning Machine and Fuzzy Logic

        Visual servoing (VS) based on the Kalman filter (KF) algorithm, as in the case of KF-based image-based visual servoing (IBVS) systems, suffers from three problems in uncalibrated environments: the perturbation noises of the robot system, error of noise statistics, and slow convergence. To solve these three problems, we use an IBVS based on KF, African vultures optimization algorithm enhanced extreme learning machine (AVOA-ELM), and fuzzy logic (FL) in this paper. Firstly, KF online estimation of the Jacobian matrix. We propose an AVOA-ELM error compensation model to compensate for the sub-optimal estimation of the KF to solve the problems of disturbance noises and noise statistics error. Next, an FL controller is designed for gain adaptation. This approach addresses the problem of the slow convergence of the IBVS system with the KF. Then, we propose a visual servoing scheme combining FL and KF-AVOA-ELM (FL-KF-AVOA-ELM). Finally, we verify the algorithm on the 6-DOF robotic manipulator PUMA 560. Compared with the existing methods, our algorithm can solve the three problems mentioned above without camera parameters, robot kinematics model, and target depth information. We also compared the proposed method with other KF-based IBVS methods under different disturbance noise environments. And the proposed method achieves the best results under the three evaluation metrics.

        本文以产业结构调整为背景,分析了新能源专业人才培养与产业需求之间的互动关系,并提出了适应产业发展需求的新能源专业人才培养模式创新策略。分析发现,产业结构调整对新能源专业人才培养需求呈现出总量稳步增长、人才结构多元化、高技能与创新型人才短缺、强调实践与理论结合、跨学科与跨界人才需求显现等特点。为满足产业需求,应着重从构建科学的人才培养目标体系,建立校企深度融合的育人模式,构建灵活、开放的动态培养机制,形成持续关注产业前沿动态、深化产教融合的运行体系,以及构建严谨科学的人才培养质量评估体系和强化师资队伍专业化建设等措施,最终形成提升新能源专业人才培养质量、满足产业发展需求的有效策略。 Against the background of industrial structure adjustment, this paper analyses the interactive relationship between the training of new energy professionals and industrial demand and proposes innovative strategies for training new energy professionals to meet the needs of industrial development. The analysis reveals that industrial restructuring has led to a steadily increasing overall demand for talent in the new energy sector, accompanied by a growing need for diversified talent structures, shortages of high-skilled and innovative professionals, a strong emphasis on the integration of theoretical knowledge and practical skills, and an emergent requirement for interdisciplinary and cross-boundary talent. To address these industry demands, it is essential to focus on several measures: establishing a scientifically grounded system of talent cultivation objectives, adopting a deep integration model of school-enterprise cooperation, creating flexible and open dynamic training mechanisms, forming an operational framework that continuously monitors industrial frontiers and strengthens industry-university collaboration, building a rigorous and scientific talent quality assessment system, and reinforcing the professionalization of the faculty. These measures collectively aim to develop effective strategies that enhance the quality of talent cultivation in new energy specialties and ensure its alignment with industry requirements.

      • Study on the Protection and Energy Transmission Modes of One Phase Short Circuit to Ground in Inverters

        This paper introduces the mathematical model of a double boost circuit for the condition that the short circuit to ground happens to one phase of inverters, taking into account the impact of leakage inductance of power transformers. The corresponding energy transmission modes are analyzed, mainly focusing on the reason that the rectifier diode reverses voltage and the DC bus voltage rises. Then a novel method for rectifier determination, considering the short circuit to ground in one phase of inverters, is proposed. The effectiveness of the proposed method is verified by both simulation and experiment.

        ENERGY MANAGEMENT STRATEGY CONSIDERING SPEED FEATURE RECOGNITION AND CABIN NOISE CONSTRAINT FOR HYBRID COMMERCIAL VEHICLES

        The fuel economy and ride comfort of range-extender electric vehicles are closely related to the adopted energy management strategy (EMS). The appropriate EMS with noise constraints can not only effectively reduce fuel consumption, but improve ride comfort during vehicle travel. To this end, an EMS was proposed in this paper in which an adaptive equivalent consumption minimization method was developed considering the noise level in the driving cabin based on vehicle speed feature recognition so that the vehicle fuel economy and ride comfort can be optimized simultaneously through a calibratable cost function. The linear state of charge reference trajectory based on the route information, which could be obtained by a mileage-indication knob equipped in the cockpit, was employed to determine the start-stop of the range-extender. The proposed strategy was verified on the road in a light-duty range-extender electric van. The results were compared with those obtained from the conventional equivalent consumption minimization strategy and a dynamic equivalent consumption minimization strategy. The experimental results indicated that the proposed strategy could reduce the vehicle fuel consumption by 3.28 % and 1.40 %, respectively, on an urban-suburban integrated route. Moreover, the ride comfort indicated by the noise level in the driving cabin was better as well.

        RANGE-EXTENDER IN-THE-LOOP METHOD FOR FUEL CONSUMPTION PREDICTION OF HYBRID ELECTRIC VEHICLES

        In the development of a range-extended electric vehicle, it is necessary to determine the control strategy of the range extender (REX) and evaluate the influence of its performance and operating conditions. In this paper, we propose a range-extender in-the-loop (REIL) method that is used to predict the vehicle fuel consumption more accurately. To develop the REIL method and perform experimental verification, the vehicle plant model, electric-drive control strategy, and REX control strategy are integrated into a vehicle control unit (VCU) for REX control, bench data acquisition, and bench monitoring. The VCU controls the REX to meet the power requirements of the simulated vehicle operations under a given driving cycle. The fuel consumed by the engine and power generated by the integrated starter-and-generator are measured during the tests, which are used in the vehicle fuel consumption calculation. We first describe the methodology and implementation of the REIL, and subsequently discuss the predicted results of a range-extended electric vehicle equipped with a 30 kW REX under the WLTC driving cycle. Comparing the predicted results of the REIL and software simulation methods, it is demonstrated that the REIL method improves the prediction accuracy of vehicle fuel consumption.

        A new method of synthesis on high-quality AgGaS2 polycrystalline

        High-pure, single-phase, free of voids and high mass density AgGaS2 polycrystalline was synthesized by a new method, i.e. two-temperature zone vapor-transporting together with the mechanical and melt temperature oscillation method (TVMMTOM), directly from high-purity (6 N) elements silver, gallium and sulfur with excess sulfur. The mechanism and advantages of the new method for synthesizing high-quality AgGaS2 were discussed. It is found that the polycrystalline material synthesized by the new method is superior to that synthesized by the conventional method, what is more the new method can avoid the explosion of the synthetic quartz ampoule. Adopting the modified Bridgman method an integral and crack-free AgGaS2 single crystal with diameter of 14 mm and length of 63 mm has been obtained. It was found that there was a (1 0 1) cleavage face and the four order X-ray spectrum of the {1 0 1} faces was observed. By the method of DSC analysis the melting and freezing points of the AgGaS2 single crystal were about 995 and 955 ℃. The transmission spectra of the AgGaS2 sample of 10 × 8 ×2㎣ were obtained by means of UV and IR spectrophotometer. The limiting wavelength was 470 nm and the band gap was 2.64 eV. It can be found in the infrared spectrum that the infrared transmission was above 55%from 4000 to 800 cm-1, and the infrared transmittance of the crystal is up to 63% at 10.6 lm, which is higher than that of the crystal grown using polycrystalline materials synthesized by the conventional method. The value of a in 10.6 lm was 0.267 cm-1. Above mentioned results showed that the crystal was of good quality and TVMMTOM is preferable for synthesizing high-quality AgGaS2 polycrystalline materials.
