      • A Data Cleaning Model for Electric Power Big Data Based on Spark Framework

        The data cleaning of electrical power big data can improve the correctness, the completeness, the consistency and the reliability of the data. Aiming at the difficulties of the extracting of the unified anomaly detection pattern and the low accuracy and continuity of the anomaly data correction in the process of the electrical power big data cleaning, the data cleaning model of the electrical power big data based on Spark is proposed. Firstly, the normal clusters and the corresponding boundary samples are obtained by the improved CURE clustering algorithm. Then, the anomaly data identification algorithm based on boundary samples is designed. Finally, the anomaly data modification is realized by using exponential weighting moving mean value. The high efficiency and accuracy is proved by the experiment of the data cleaning of the wind power generation monitoring data from the wind power station.

        PQ Control of Micro Grid Inverters with Axial Voltage Regulators

        This paper presents a PQ control strategy for micro grid inverters with axial voltage regulators. The inverter works in the voltage-controlled mode and can help improve the terminal power quality. The inverter has two axial voltage regulators. The 1st regulator involves the output voltage amplitude and output impedance, while the 2nd regulator controls the output frequency. The inverter system is equivalent to a controllable voltage source with a controllable inner output impedance. The basic PQ control for micro grid inverters is easy to accomplish. The output active and reactive powers can be decoupled well by controlling the two axial voltages. The 1st axial voltage regulator controls the reactive power, while the 2nd regulator controls the active power. The paper analyses the axial voltage regulation mechanism, and evaluates the PQ decoupling effect mathematically. The effectiveness of the proposed control strategy is validated by simulation and experimental results.

      • A Decupled PQ Control strategy of Voltage - Controlled Inverters

        This paper deals with problems caused by high distributed generation penetration and proposes a simple and precise PQ control strategy for voltage-controlled inverters in micro grids. The widely-used current-controlled inverters cannot provide voltage support for micro grids and have to develop seamless transfer strategy between gird connected mode and islanded mode. A voltage-controlled inverter is raised in the paper due to the problems. The new inverter can be regarded as a voltage source cascaded with controllable output impedance. By adopting a new phase-locked loop, the output voltage amplitude and frequency are well decoupled. Thus output active and reactive powers are decoupled satisfactory. The output response is fast and precise. The idea is verified by simulation and experiment results.

        K-ROD Internal Fixation System Ameliorates Lumbar Adjacent Segment Degeneration: Two-Year Clinical Outcomes of 66 Patients

        We wanted to know whether K-ROD (KD) internal fixation system could ameliorate lumbar adjacent segment degeneration (LASD) diseases. From May 2010 to May 2012, 66 patients with lumbar LASD were repaired via KD system. The outcome for LASD was analyzed using visual analogue scale (VAS), Oswestry disability index (ODI) and the 36-Item Short Form Health Survey. Meanwhile, range of motion (ROM) of total lumbar and dynamic fixation segments were also examined. Twelve patients inquired the removal of KD system because of fatigue during the first year after surgery. For remaining patients, the mean VAS score for back pain was 45.2±28.7 before operation, and decreased to 22.3±14.2 after two-year surgery (p<0.01); meanwhile, the mean ODI score was decreased from 76.5±11.2% to 21.1±5.4% (p<0.01). SF-36 parameters were significantly improved compared with those acquired the removal of KD system (p<0.01). Total 45 patients restored flexion-extension ROM after surgery (p<0.01). More than 80% disc generation was improved by KD system. KD system is an effective therapeutic way for treating LASD patients. The dynamic stabilization system preserves the motion of fixation segment and provides an alternative for therapy of lumbar LASD.

        Nicotinic acid changes rumen fermentation and apparent nutrient digestibility by regulating rumen microbiota in Xiangzhong black cattle

        Objective: The aim of this study was to investigate the impact of dietary nicotinic acid (NA) on apparent nutrient digestibility, rumen fermentation, and rumen microbiota in uncastrated Xiangzhong black cattle. Methods: Twenty-one uncastrated Xiangzhong black cattle (385.08±15.20 kg) aged 1.5 years were randomly assigned to the control group (CL, 0 mg/kg NA in concentrate diet), NA1 group (800 mg/kg NA in concentrate diet) and NA2 group (1,200 mg/kg NA in concentrate diet). All animals were fed a 60% concentrate diet and 40% dried rice straw for a 120-day feeding experiment. Results: Supplemental NA not only enhanced the apparent nutrient digestibility of acid detergent fiber (p<0.01), but also elevated the rumen acetate and total volatile fatty acid concentrations (p<0.05). 16S rRNA gene sequencing analysis of rumen microbiota revealed that dietary NA changed the diversity of rumen microbiota (p<0.05) and the abundance of bacterial taxa in the rumen. The relative abundances of eight Erysipelotrichales taxa, five Ruminococcaceae taxa, and five Sphaerochaetales taxa were decreased by dietary NA (p< 0.05). However, the relative abundances of two taxa belonging to Roseburia faecis were increased by supplemental 800 mg/kg NA, and the abundances of seven Prevotella taxa, three Paraprevotellaceae taxa, three Bifidobacteriaceae taxa, and two operational taxonomic units annotated to Fibrobacter succinogenes were increased by 1,200 mg/kg NA in diets. Furthermore, the correlation analysis found significant correlations between the concentrations of volatile fatty acids in the rumen and the abundances of bacterial taxa, especially Prevotella. Conclusion: The results from this study suggest that dietary NA plays an important role in regulating apparent digestibility of acid detergent fiber, acetate, total volatile fatty acid concentrations, and the composition of rumen microbiota.

        Decorin: a potential therapeutic candidate for ligamentum flavum hypertrophy by antagonizing TGF-β1

        Ligamentum flavum hypertrophy (LFH) is the main physiological and pathological mechanism of lumbar spinal canal stenosis (LSCS). The specific mechanism for LFH has not been completely clarified. In this study, bioinformatic analysis, human ligamentum flavum (LF) tissues collection and analysis, and in vitro and in vivo experiments were conducted to explore the effect of decorin (DCN) on LFH pathogenesis. Here, we found that TGF-β1, collagen I, collagen III, α-SMA and fibronectin were significantly upregulated in hypertrophic LF samples. The DCN protein expression in hypertrophic LF samples was higher than that in non-LFH samples, but the difference was not significant. DCN inhibited the expression of TGF-β1-induced fibrosis-associated proteins in human LF cells, including collagen I, collagen III, α-SMA, and fibronectin. ELISAs showed that TGF-β1 can upregulate PINP and PIIINP in the cell supernatant, and this effect was inhibited after DCN administration. Mechanistic studies revealed that DCN suppressed TGF-β1-induced fibrosis by blocking the TGF-β1/SMAD3 signaling pathway. In addition, DCN ameliorated mechanical stress-induced LFH in vivo. In summary, our findings indicated that DCN ameliorated mechanical stress-induced LFH by antagonizing the TGF-β1/SMAD3 signaling pathway in vitro and in vivo. These findings imply that DCN is a potential therapeutic candidate for ligamentum flavum hypertrophy.

        Analytical Inductance Modeling of Segmental Rotor Switched Reluctance Motor with Single-Tooth Windings

        The accurate analytical inductance model is an eff ective tool for performance evaluation and preliminary design of singletooth winding segmental rotor switched reluctance motors (STSSRMs). Due to the discontinuous rotor structure and the special magnetic circuit, the analytical inductance calculation of the STSSRM is more complicated than that of the conventional SRM, and it is hard to obtain the accurate inductance at each position directly. To solve this issue, in this paper, an accurate and fast analytical approach is proposed to determine the phase inductance of STSSRM at any rotor position. Firstly, with the analysis of the fl ux line distribution, the fl ux tube models and the equivalent magnetic circuits at three critical positions are established to calculate the corresponding permeance and inductance parameters. Secondly, according to the proper approximation in a certain region, an additional critical inductance point is obtained to improve the accuracy of the inductance model by utilizing the quadratic interpolation calculation. Furthermore, with the four inductance values at diff erent rotor positions, a third-order Fourier series inductance model is developed for analytical inductance calculation, where high calculation accuracy can be achieved. The eff ectiveness of the proposed method is verifi ed by fi nite element simulation and experiment.
