Among modern computer vision and video surveillance systems, the pedestrian counting system is a one of important systems in terms of security, scheduling and advertising. In the field of, pedestrian counting remains a variety of challenges such as changes in illumination, partial occlusion, overlap and people detection. During pedestrian counting process, the biggest problem is occlusion effect in crowded environment. Occlusion and overlap must be resolved for accurate people counting. In this paper, we propose a novel pedestrian counting system which improves existing pedestrian tracking method. Unlike existing pedestrian tracking method, proposed method shows that average filter tracking method can improve tracking performance. Also proposed method improves tracking performance through frame compensation and outlier removal. At the same time, we keep various information of tracking objects. The proposed method improves counting accuracy and reduces error rate about S6 dataset and S7 dataset. Also our system provides real time detection at the rate of 80 fps.

This paper proposes an algorithm capable of detecting vehicles in front or in rear using a monocular camera installed in a vehicle. The vehicle detection has been regarded as an important part of intelligent vehicle technologies. The proposed algorithm is mainly composed of two parts: 1)hypothesis generation of vehicles, and 2)hypothesis verification. The hypotheses of vehicles are generated by the analysis of vertical and horizontal edges and the detection of symmetry axis. The hypothesis verification, which determines vehicles among hypotheses, is done by the AdaBoost algorithm. The proposed algorithm is proven to be effective through experiments performed on various images captured on the roads.

진동해머에 의해 시공되는 말뚝의 효율적인 거동분석을 위해서는 말뚝머리에 설치되는 하나의 가속도계와 말뚝머리와 선단 모두에 설치되는 변형률계 그리고 깊이측정장치가 최소한의 계측기라 할 수 있다. 깊이측정장치로부터 측정된 자료를 처리함에 있어 데이터 획득 진동수의 10배에 해당하는 자료로부터 관입속도를 계산하더라도 무리가 없을 것으로 보인다. 원점 오프셋과 미세조정과정을 거친 가속도와 속도를 적분하여 말뚝의 변위이력을 구하는 과정을 상세하게 나타내었고 그 결과 얻어진 변위이력은 규칙적이고 매끄러운 모양을 보였다. 계측결과로부터 말뚝의 하중전이곡선을 구할 수 있었는데 그 형상은 기존 연구결과와 유사하였다. 본 연구에 적용한 계측장치로부터 얻은 자료를 분석해 볼 때 시험대상지반의 N값 분포를 합리적으로 반영한 결과를 보였다. In order to analyze the behavior of a pile installed by vibrohammer, single accelerometer which is put on the pile head and strain gauges which are put on both head and toe of the pile and depth measuring drum are likely to be the minimum sufficient measuring instruments. Dealing with the data obtained from the depth measuring drum, number of the data which is equal to 10 times of the data acquisition frequency seems to be sufficient for calculating penetration rate of the pile. Details of obtaining displacement history through minimizing zero offset of the measured acceleration and fine tuning the zero offset is presented in the paper and the resulted displacement history shows smooth and repetitive shape. The shapes of the obtained dynamic load transfer curves are similar to those of the past researcher. Results obtained from analyzing the measured data show that analyzed results rationally reflect the distribution of the N value with depth.

진동해머의 진동특성을 살펴보고 편심모멘트, 진동수, 진동질량, 스프링상수가 진동해머의 진폭, 가속도, 스프링작용력 그리고 이론적일률에 미치는 영향을 분석하였다. 진동해머에 의해 시공되는 말뚝의 해석을 위한 말뚝머리하중결정에 관하여 기존의 접근법에 있어서의 오류를 파악하고 합리적 접근법을 제시하였다. 또한 진동해머/말뚝의 진동시스템을 표현하는 기존의 지배방정식을 합리적으로 수정 제안하였다. Vibrational properties of vibro-hammer were studied and the influences of eccentric moment, frequency, vibratory mass and spring constant to the amplitude, acceleration, spring force and theoretical power were analyzed. Existing approach of determining input of pile head force which is necessary for analyzing a pile constructed by vibro-hammer were reviewed and rational one was suggested. In addition, existing governing equation shown in the literature, which simulates the vibrating system of vibrator/pile was modified through rational evaluation.
치열궁 부조화로 인한 불안정한 교합을 보이는 환자의 수복 증례

상하악 치열궁의 부조화는 3차원적인 교합의 문제를 일으키며 불안정한 교합접촉에 의해 교합평면의 붕괴와 다수의 치아 상실 및 저작기능의 감소가 발생할 수 있다. 치아 상실로 인한 구치부의 지지 상실과 상하악 치열궁의 부조화로 인한 불안정한 교합접촉 및 부적절한 전방유도를 갖는 경우, 교정치료를 동반한 보철치료를 통해 안정적인 교합접촉과 전방유도를 회복하고, 조화로운 교합관계로의 개선이 필요하다. 본 증례보고는 앞서 언급된 문제들이 복합적으로 나타난 환자를 치과보철과와 치과교정과의 협진을 통해 양호한 구강회복 결과를 얻었기에 이를 보고하고자 한다. Inter-dental arch discrepancy between maxilla and mandible could cause three dimensional occlusal problems, and collapse of occlusal plane, multiple teeth loss and decrease of masticatory efficiency could be observed in patient having unstable occlusal contact. Patient showing posterior bite collapse, unstable occlusal contact and improper anterior guidance should be treated to recover stable centric occlusion, occlusal contact, and anterior guidance in conjunction between prosthodontics and orthodontic treatment. This clinical report describes the favorable results of orthodontic and prosthodontics rehabilitation of patient with above mentioned problems.

Background The identification of gene–phenotype relationships is important in medical genetics as it serves as a basis for precision medicine. However, most of the gene-phenotype relationship data are buried in the biomedical literature in textual form. Objective We propose RelCurator, a curation system that extracts sentences including both gene and phenotype entities related to specific disease categories from PubMed articles, provides rich additional information such as entity taggings, and predictions of gene–phenotype relationships. Methods We targeted neurodegenerative disorders and developed a deep learning model using Bidirectional Gated Recurrent Unit (BiGRU) networks and BioWordVec word embeddings for predicting gene–phenotype relationships from biomedical texts. The prediction model is trained with more than 130,000 labeled PubMed sentences including gene and phenotype entities, which are related to or unrelated to neurodegenerative disorders. Results We compared the performance of our deep learning model with those of Bidirectional Encoder Representations from Transformers (BERT), Support Vector Machine (SVM), and simple Recurrent Neural Network (simple RNN) models. Our model performed better with an F1-score of 0.96. Furthermore, the evaluation done using a few curation cases in the real scenario showed the effectiveness of our work. Therefore, we conclude that RelCurator can identify not only new causative genes, but also new genes associated with neurodegenerative disorders’ phenotype. Conclusion RelCurator is a user-friendly method for accessing deep learning-based supporting information and a concise web interface to assist curators while browsing the PubMed articles. Our curation process represents an important and broadly applicable improvement to the state of the art for the curation of gene–phenotype relationships.
능동형 전압제어를 통한 교류 전기철도 급전망에 대한 전력손실 분석

This paper compares power losses between voltage controlled before and after using power conversion device in AC feeding system. For this purpose we present voltage control procedures and criteria and model high speed line and train using PSCAD/EMTDC to compare power losses in various feeding condition. Power losses of the simulation result in power control before and after in single point feeding system was reduced maximum 0.37 ㎿(23.8 %) and average 0.23 ㎿(20.5 %) when one vehicle load operates maximum load condition. When three vehicles operate maximum load condition in one feeder section, power losses after voltage control was reduced 1.03 ㎿(49.5%) compared to before voltage control. And, power loss of parallel feeding system is reduced the average 0.08 ㎿(7.2 %) compared to the single feeding system. In conclusion, adaptive voltage control method using power conversion device can reduce power losses compared with existing method.
