In this paper, an enhanced thining algorithm which extracts feature parameters into the fingerprint image is proposed. The proposed algorithm is diveded between thining process and extracting feature parameters. In the thinning and extracting feature parameters into the fingerprint image, we proposed a algorithm which used serching-mask. The proposed algorithm is added existing algorithm as sub-iteration, the algorithm maintain the skeleton connection, cancel the noise branch and make a 1 pixel line into thicker than 2 pixels line. To verify the propriety of the proposed algorithm, we compared existing algorithm with proposed algorithm to examine connection and similarity.

과거에 비해 현재의 디스크 저장 공간은 비약적으로 증가하고 있으며, 네트워크상에서도 이전과 비교할 수 없는 수많은 데이터들이 처리되고 있다. 이러한 데이터의 대용량화는 앞으로도 계속 될 추세이지만, 그에 비해 포렌식 관점에서 데이터를 이미징 하는 시간을 개선시키기 위한 연구는 부족한 상황이다. 본 논문은 데이터 이미징 시간을 개선시키기 위한 방안으로 전체 이미징 소요시간 중 해시함수에 대한 소요시간을 암호학적 관점에서 살펴보고, 이를 토대로 EWF 파일 이미징 과정에 대한 효율성 개선 방안을 제안한다. Compared to the past, the current disk storages have dramatically increased and extremely many data are transferred on the network everyday. In spite of the anticipation that such development will be continued, there have been lack of studies for improving the data-imaging time in terms of the digital forensics. In this paper, we firstly investigate the time due to hash functions during the data Imaging and secondly propose a method for improving the efficiency of the EWF-File imaging time from a cryptographic perspective.
다중 해상도 에지 정합을 이용한 임의물체 검색 시스템의 설계 및 구현

본 논문에서는 작은 형태정보의 차이를 감지할 수 있고 부분적인 입력 패턴도 효과적으로 검색할 수 있는 윤곽선 정보를 기반으로 하는 GHT와 다중 해상도 검색 방법을 제안한다. 제안된 방법은 부분적인 에지 정보를 효율적으로 사용할 수 있고 작은 형태변화를 구분할 수 있어서 도검과 같은 유사한 물체를 효과적으로 구분할 수 있다. 또한, 에지 리스트를 이용한 다중 해상도 에지 생성과 계층적인 패턴 정합을 통해서 신속하고 정확한 검색을 가능하게 한다. 실험 결과, 제안된 방법은 도검과 같은 임의 물체에 대해 높은 검색율을 보였다. In this paper, we proposed multi-resolution search method based on edge information that can be search a partial input pattern and detect a difference of minute shape information in effectively. The proposed method utilizes the small shape differences among objects as much as possible to distinguish an object from similar shaped objects. It consists of the GHT based candidate generation and top-down candidate verfication. The test results show that it can retrieve the correct object even with a part of object in reasonable time.

Ambient Adjusted line Rating(AAR) method for overhead transmission lines considering Risk Tolerance(RT) was proposed in this paper. AAR is suitable for system operators to plan their operation strategy and maintenance schedule because this can be designed as a seasonal line rating. Several candidate transmission lines are chosen to apply the proposed method in the paper. As a result, it is shown that system reliability was significantly enhanced through maximizing transfer capability, solving the system constraints.

Recently, the Korea Enhanced Power system Simulator (KEPS) was upgraded with new processor cards and various peripheral devices. The purpose of the upgrade is for the large-scale AC/DC simulation studies for different purposes such as FACTS, PMU applications, and SPS. The need for such study is now growing in KEPCO network. Frequently, traditional ways of performing the necessary study had been found to be less adequate for guiding the key decisions in the company. Therefore, the growing needs, as well as the revealed inadequacy of the traditional system studies, had been attributing to the momentum for the upgrade project. This paper explains the details of the upgrade project. As an example of presenting the effectiveness of the upgraded RTDS system in KEPRI-KEPCO, a large-scale AC/DC real time simulation case which includes the entire Korean network and a planned MMC-HVDC system is introduced.

Future market forecasting is a challenging task in the financial time-series study field. Factors such as the economic environment, political policies, and market news affect it. Although only a few people can profit from it, many researchers and professional investors are eager to spend considerable effort studying the future market in an attempt to develop profitable methods. Certainly, many investment strategies exist in the market including traditional technical analysis and modern emerging artificial intelligence analysis. However, most methods are too complicated or heavily require investors to select and analyze many technical indicators. Moreover, most individual investors do not understand financial statements, the meaning of various technical indicators, and their influence on the future market. These non-professional investors are inevitably in need of a simple and intelligible investment method. Hence, this study proposes a head-and-shoulder combined pattern recognition model based on perceptually important point identification matching (PIP), template matching, and the floating weighted method using two basic technical indicators (5MA and 20MA). A four-year period (2017~2020) of the Crude Oil, NASDAQ100, and S&P500 index was analyzed as the experimental dataset to validate the proposed model. The experimental results show that the proposed model is effective in forecasting accuracy and can be applied to develop investment strategies.
