The study aims to evaluate the impact of corporate social responsibility on customers’ repurchase intention in Vietnam’s fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) industry. This study employs primary data surveyed from 417 Vietnamese consumers, and the sample is selected based on the willingness to participate in providing information. The results show corporate social responsibility’s positive impact on repurchase intention in the FMCG industry in the Vietnam market. There are three components of corporate social responsibility, including ethical responsibility, legal responsibility, and economic responsibility have a positive impact on repurchase intention. The economic responsibility component has the greatest effect on repurchase intention. There is not enough statistical basis for the philanthropic responsibility component of corporate social responsibility to recognize its impact on repurchase intention. The findings of this study suggest that companies dealing in the FMCG industry in Vietnam need to invest more in further developing their corporate social responsibility, it not only helps to improve their customer loyalty to businesses but also contributes to promoting the country’s economic and social development in a better and more sustainable direction.
Activity-oriented access control to ubiquitous hospital information and services
Le, Xuan Hung,Lee, Sungyoung,Lee, Young-Koo,Lee, Heejo,Khalid, Murad,Sankar, Ravi Elsevier 2010 Information sciences Vol.180 No.16
<P><B>Abstract</B></P><P>In hospital information systems, protecting the confidentiality of health information, whilst at the same time allowing authorized physicians to access it conveniently, is a crucial requirement. The need to deliver health information at the point-of-care is a primary factor to increase healthcare quality and cost efficiency. However, current systems require considerable coordination effort of hospital professionals to locate relevant documents to support a specific activity. This paper presents a flexible and dynamic access control model, Activity-Oriented Access Control (AOAC), which is based on user activity to authorize access permissions. A user is allowed to perform an activity if he/she holds a number of satisfactory attributes (i.e. roles, assignments, etc.) under a specified condition (e.g. time, location). Results of AOAC implementation in a realistic healthcare scenario have shown to meet two important requirements: protecting confidentiality of health information by denying an unauthorized access, and allowing physicians to conveniently browse medical data at the point-of-care. Furthermore, the average execution time was 0.078s which allows AOAC to work in real-time.</P>

Bacillus is a diverse genus consisting of more than 200 species with extensive genetic diversity. Their beneficial effects in industrial shrimp farming have been well documented. However, little is known about the biodiversity of the Bacillus spp. in this aquaculture system. Taxonomic analysis by 16S rRNA sequencing does not always allow species-level identification of Bacillus spp. In this study, 26 Bacillus isolates from two industrial Litopenaeus vannamei shrimp ponds in Bac Lieu Province, Vietnam, were analyzed for their genetic diversity by multi-locus sequence typing (MLST). A total of 22 sequence types were identified and segregated into four distinct clusters, corresponding to B. subtilis, B. velezensis, B. siamensis, and B. licheniformis. Bacillus subtilis and B. velezensis accounted for more than 73% of the Bacillus isolates. Notably, the MLST scheme exhibited high discriminatory power and might be further simplified to be a convenient method to identify species of the genus Bacillus.

The equipment of industrial robot in manufacturing and assembly lines has rapidly increased. In order to achieve high productivity and flexibility, it becomes very important to develop the visual feedback control system with Off-Line Programming System(OLPS). We can save much efforts and time in adjusting robots to newly defined workcells by using OLPS. A proposed visual calibration scheme is based on position-based visual feedback. The calibration program firstly generates predicted images of objects in an assumed end-effector position. The process to generate predicted images consists of projection to screen-coordinates, visible range test, and construction of simple silhouette figures. Then, camera images acquired are compared with predicted ones for updating position and orientation data. Computation of error is very simple because the scheme is based on perspective projection, which can be also expanded to experimental results. Computation time can be extremely reduced because the proposed method does not require the precise calculation of tree-dimensional object data and image Jacobian.

For many mission-critical related wireless sensor network applications such as military and homeland security, user’s access restriction is necessary to be enforced by access control mechanisms for different access rights. Public key-based access control schemes are more attractive than symmetric-key based approaches due to high scalability, low memory requirement, easy key-addition/revocation for a new node, and no key predistribution requirement. Although Wang et al. recently introduced a promising access control scheme based on elliptic curve cryptography (ECC), it is still burdensome for sensors and has several security limitations (it does not provide mutual authentication and is strictly vulnerable to denial-of-service (DoS) attacks). This paper presents an energy-efficient access control scheme based on ECC to overcome these problems and more importantly to provide dominant energy-efficiency. Through analysis and simulation based evaluations, we show that the proposed scheme overcomes the security problems and has far better energy-efficiency compared to current scheme proposed by Wang et al.
Taxonomic notes of family Tortricidae (Lepidoptera) in the north Vietnam
Le Xuan Vi,Pham Thi Vuong,Yang-Seop Bae 한국응용곤충학회 2009 한국응용곤충학회 학술대회논문집 Vol.2009 No.10
The family Tortricidae, with just over 9000 described species (Brown 2005), is the second largest lineage in the microlepidoptera, and by far the most important economically. In Vietnam, de Joanis is the first entomologist has created the original data of moths. From 1928-1929, he reported 45 families belong to Lepidoptera and focoused on Noctuidae and Pyralidae. After the Vietnam war in the North (1954), many times were collected in the North by National Institute of Plant Protection (NIPP). But all of them focused on fauna of the agricultural pests. According to the publication of NIPP (1967-1968), 533 species of 37 families. Recently, Korean entomologists have researched on the Lepidoptera in Vietnam by Park et al. (2007) reported 816 species of Lepidoptera classified by 4 families; Noctuidae (564 species), Pyraloidae (201 species), Sphingidae (28 species), and Lecithoceridae (23 species). Vietnamese entomologists' reports have represented a diversity of Lepidoptera in National parks of Vietnam, but all of them focused on macrolepidoptera. In 2001, one new genus and 6 new species belong into Tortricidae in the Southern part has reported by Kuznetzov. In 2008 Razowski announced 10 Tortricidae species in Vietnam. The main aims of this study are to survey of any references of family Tortricidae in North Vietnam, and it also is the first data about Tortricidae in Vietnam. The materials identification based on the collection of University of Incheon, which has collected from 2004-2007. In the taxonomic review of the Tortricidae in Northern part of Vietnam, 40 species (16 species of the subfamily Tortricinae and 24 species of the subfamily Olethreutinae) are recognized. All of them are reported for the first time from Vietnam. Taxonomic review for all species is provided with photos of the adults for the species.

Le Anh Tuan,주영훈,Le Quoc Tien,Pham Xuan Duong 제어·로봇·시스템학회 2017 International Journal of Control, Automation, and Vol.15 No.6
An adaptive robust control system is considered for dual-arm manipulators (DAM) using the combinationof second-order sliding mode control (SOSMC) and neural networks. The SOSMC deals with the system robustnesswhen faced with external disturbances and parametric uncertainties. Meanwhile, the radial basis function network(RBFN) is to constitute an adaptation mechanism for approximating the unknown dynamic model of DAM. Thestability of model estimator-integrated controller is analyzed using Lyapuov theory. To show the effectiveness ofproposed controller, a four DOFs-DAM is applied as an illustrating example. The results reveal that the controllerworks well, excellently adapt to no information of robot modeling.
Parameter Estimator Integrated-sliding Mode Control of Dual Arm Robots
Le Anh Tuan,주영훈,Pham Xuan Duong,Le Quoc Tien 제어·로봇·시스템학회 2017 International Journal of Control, Automation, and Vol.15 No.6
This paper presents the parameter estimator-integrated sliding mode control of dual arm robots. Todo so, a robust adaptive controller is designed for 3D cooperative motion of dual-arm robots based on the frameof second-order sliding mode control (SOSMC). Additionally, the method of the model-reference adaptive control(MRAC) is also utilized for constituting an adaptation mechanism then integrating it into the control loop to estimatethe unknown robot parameters. By doing so, the proposed controller is robust with disturbances and parametricuncertainties. Furthermore, the adaptive behavior is also achieved in which the control system does not need theinformation of many system parameters. Finally, the applicability and feasibility of the proposed controller ispresented through a 4 four degree-of-freedoms (DOFs) dual-arm manipulator.
