For the purpose of individual identification, a lot of researches concerned to classification of human blood type were performed. The author experimented the agglutination activity of human sera to rat red cell, and also investigated the relation with the existing blood types to comparative possibly. The following results were obtained. 1. Human sera could be clasified into 2 groups by their agglutination activities to rat RBC: one was agglutination group, and the other was no-agglutination group. 2. Of the 131 donors, the incidence of the former (agglutination group) was 79% and the latter was 21%. 3. There was no significant relation between agglutination property of rat RBC with human sera and individual differences of rat. 4. The agglutination property of human sera to rat RBC had no relation with blood types, such as ABO, Cl, H, Vp, ab.C, CCl, and CCN etc. or serum types classified by duck, cat and bovine RBC.

Moon and Wiener had demonstrated new blood factor "Cl" with anti-Cl lectin prepared from extracts of seeds of Korean Clerodendron trichotomum THUNBERG by absorption of selected human red blood cells. After that, Moon et al. had reported that Cl type specific substance in distributed in human saliva, too. Therefore, human saliva can be classified into two type, secretor of Cl (Sc) and non-secretor of Cl (nSc). To study on the frequency of Sc and nSc, relation with ABH type secretor and hereditary pattern of Cl secretors, agglutination inhibition test of anti-Cl lectin was carried out with human saliva by standard method, and the results can be summarized as follows; 1. Cl positive type can be classified secretor and non-secretor of Cl by human saliva, but Cl negative type is reacted as only non-secretor of Cl. 2. The secretor status of Cl is quite different from ABH secretor. 3. It appears that the inheritance of the saliva type of Cl follows the Mendelian law with the non-secretor of Cl transmitted through recessive genes.
Properties of Soluble Trehalase and Membrane-bound Trehalase from Hyphantria cunea Drury

미국 흰불나방 종령 유충의 soluble trehalase와 membrane-bound trehalase 및 혈림프내trehalase의 물리화학적 특성을 비교 조사 하였으며, soluble trehalase와 membrane-bound trehalase의 유충시기 및 용시기의 분포 비율을 조사하여 다음과 같은 결과를 얻었다. soluble trehalase와 membrane-bound trehalase의 분포비율은 유충기에 1 : 1이었으나 용시기에는 soluble trehalase가 약 2배의 비율로 증가되며, trehalase 전체 unit도 용시기에 더욱 증가되는 경향을 보였다. 또한 membrane-bound trehalase는 1,000 g의 낮은 centrifugal force에 의해서도 98% 이상이 침전 되었다. 최적 pH는 soluble trehalase와 membrane-bound trehalase가 pH 6.5인데 반해서 혈림프내 trehalase는 pH 6.0이었다. 반응시간 경과에 따른 활성의 증가는 membrane-bound trehalase가 약1/2정도의 완만한 활성의 증가를 보였으며, 또한 일정 기질농도에서 완전히 포화되지 않는 특이적인 반응 양상을 보였고, 열안정성도 membrane-bound trehalase만이 7$0^{\circ}C$에서 상당한 활성이 유지되었다. 한편 최대 반응온도는 공히 6$0^{\circ}C$ 정도였다. 모든 trehalase가 $Mn^{2+}$, Fe$^{2+}$에 의하여 활성이 촉진되었고, Hg$^{2+}$에 의하여는 억제되었으나 $Ca^{2+}$에 의하여는 membrane-bound trehalase만이 촉진되었다. 한편 면역학적으로 soluble trehalase와 membrane-bound trehalase가 완전히 동일함을 알 수 있었다. The physicochemical property of trehalase has been compared between soluble trehalase, membrane-bound trehalase, and haemolymph trehalase of last larval Hyphantria cunea and also distribution of soluble and membrane-bound trehalases was examined during larval and pupal stages. Soluble trehalase and membrane-bound trehalase were distributed at 1 : 1 ratio during larval stage but soluble trehalase increases at the rate of approx. 2 fold than membrane-bound trehalase during pupal period and also total trehalase unit shows the increasing trend during pupal stage. pH optimums of soluble trehalase and membrane-bound trehalase all were found to be around pH 6.5 while that of haemolymph trehalase was determined to be pH 6.0. The activity of membrane-bound trehalase shows the gradual increase by half the increase of soluble trehalase, and membrane-bound trehalase only shows the characteristic reaction pattern not completely saturated at constant substrate concentration. Also, membrane-bound trehalase only maintains half the maximum activity at 70$^{\circ}C$ heat treatment. Optimal temperatures of three trehalases were found to be 60$^{\circ}C$. The activities of all three trehalases were activated by Mn$\^$2+/ and Fe$\^$2+/ but inhibited by Hg$\^$2+/. However, membrane-bound trehalase activity only was activated by Ca$\^$2+/. On the while soluble trehalase and membrane-bound trehalase were confirmed to be immunologically identical.

1990년 5월부터 1991년 5월까지 순천만에 유입되는동천과 이사펀의 어류상을 계절별로 조사하였다. 본 조사에서 채집된 어류는 3과 18속 26종이었다. 전 지점을 통하여 Zacco platypus와 Zacco temmincki가 우점종이었으며, 저서성 어류인 Pseudogobio esocinus도 상당한 강세를 보였다. 동천과 이사천간의 군집유사도를 분석한 결과, 지점 4와 지점 10간의 군집유사도가 가장 높았으며, 지점 2와 지점 6간의 군집유사도가 가장 낮았다. Fish fauna from Dong Cheon and Isa Cheon inflowed into Suncheon bay was investigated seasonally from May 1990 to May 1991. Three families, eighteen genera and twenty six species of fishes were collected in this area. Through the collecting sites, Zacco platypus and Zacco temmincki were dominant species and bottom dwelling species that is Pseudogobio esocinus was also numerous. Community similarity of Dong Cheon and Isa Cheon was analyzed comparatively. As a reults, community similarity index between site 4 and site 10 was the most high, while site 2 and site 6 was extremely low.
Development and Comparative Study on Tire Models In the AutoDyn7 Program

In this paper, several tire models (Magic formula, Carpet plot, VA tire, DADS tire and STI tire) are implemented and compared. Since the STI (System Technology Inc.) tire model in the AutoDyn7 program is in a good agreement to NADSdyna STI tire model and experiment, it is selected as a reference tire model for the comparison. To compare tire models, input parameters of each tire model are extracted from the STI tire model to preserve the same tire properties. Several simulations are carried out to compare performances of tire models, i. e., bump simulation, lane change simulation, and pulse steering simulation. The performances in vehicle maneuverability are also compared with the four parameter evaluation method.
